withdraw_a of_o some_o duty_n due_a to_o god_n second_o for_o the_o manner_n these_o work_n be_v ungodly_a and_o fail_v against_o the_o law_n be_v do_v after_o a_o ungodly_a manner_n and_o that_o work_n be_v do_v ungod_o which_o proceed_v from_o a_o unrepentant_a heart_n and_o a_o mind_n addict_v and_o devote_a to_o ungodliness_n which_o be_v know_v and_o discern_v to_o be_v such_o a_o one_o by_o three_o note_n first_o because_o it_o purpose_v to_o commit_v sin_n before_o hand_n second_o heart_n in_o the_o commit_n of_o sin_n it_o be_v delight_v and_o take_v pleasure_n in_o it_o three_o after_o sin_v it_o walk_v in_o the_o same_o course_n yea_o run_v on_o in_o the_o same_o way_n without_o remorse_n or_o repentance_n and_o this_o clause_n seem_v to_o be_v add_v to_o put_v a_o difference_n between_o the_o godly_a and_o wicked_a who_o both_o of_o they_o may_v commit_v ungodliness_n and_o be_v find_v in_o ungodly_a action_n but_o not_o both_o commit_v they_o in_o a_o ungodly_a manner_n for_o the_o child_n of_o god_n before_o he_o sin_v he_o purpose_v it_o not_o yea_o he_o have_v a_o purpose_n not_o to_o sin_n so_o as_o he_o may_v say_v it_o be_v not_o only_o beside_o but_o against_o his_o purpose_n second_o in_o his_o sin_n he_o have_v a_o resist_a and_o strife_n against_o it_o and_o be_v not_o whole_o swallow_v up_o in_o the_o pleasure_n of_o it_o three_o he_o lie_v not_o in_o it_o but_o renew_v and_o recover_v himself_o again_o by_o faith_n and_o repentance_n so_o as_o though_o he_o do_v wickedness_n yet_o he_o do_v it_o not_o wicked_o but_o weak_o be_v overcome_v and_o foil_v by_o corruption_n and_o hence_o be_v it_o that_o this_o wicked_a work_n be_v find_v in_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n child_n though_o it_o deserve_v death_n yet_o through_o grace_n it_o shall_v be_v no_o cause_n of_o his_o condemnation_n doct._n the_o principal_a cause_n of_o condemnation_n be_v not_o this_o or_o that_o sin_n but_o the_o lie_a and_o trade_v therein_o which_o argue_v a_o ungodly_a heart_n to_o commit_v ungodliness_n indeed_o make_v man_n subject_a to_o condemnation_n but_o to_o commit_v it_o ungod_o this_o bring_v swift_a judgement_n justice_n and_o remember_v his_o mercy_n more_o easy_o correct_v we_o herein_o all_o the_o praise_n of_o mercy_n be_v due_a unto_o he_o complainer_n so_o call_v for_o two_o cause_n first_o because_o they_o be_v discontent_v with_o their_o present_a outward_a estate_n wherein_o god_n have_v place_v they_o the_o portion_n that_o god_n have_v allot_v they_o like_v they_o not_o they_o be_v displease_v that_o they_o be_v not_o as_o other_o be_v and_o that_o they_o have_v not_o as_o other_o have_v second_o because_o upon_o the_o forwardness_n of_o their_o disposition_n they_o be_v easy_o displease_v and_o hard_o to_o please_v again_o soon_o incense_v and_o not_o so_o soon_o satisfy_v and_o thereupon_o be_v common_o complain_v of_o the_o hard_a measure_n they_o seem_v to_o receive_v namely_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n together_o with_o the_o property_n of_o this_o wait_a which_o be_v four_o first_o it_o must_v be_v certain_a without_o doubt_v for_o the_o apostle_n ascribe_v a_o full_a persuasion_n and_o assurance_n unto_o our_o hope_n as_o well_o as_o unto_o our_o faith_n heb._n 6.11_o neither_o do_v hope_n make_v a_o man_n ashamed_a by_o disappoint_v he_o of_o the_o christ_n but_o by_o confidence_n we_o rest_v upon_o he_o and_o quiet_a our_o heart_n in_o he_o second_o hope_n be_v of_o thing_n to_o come_v and_o confidence_n of_o thing_n present_a at_o least_o make_v present_a by_o faith_n matth._n 9.2_o have_v confidence_n and_o thy_o sin_n be_v forgive_v thou_o whence_o we_o may_v discern_v a_o error_n in_o popish_a religion_n they_o teach_v with_o we_o that_o a_o man_n be_v to_o have_v confidence_n in_o christ_n but_o they_o include_v it_o under_o hope_n and_o will_v not_o permit_v that_o it_o shall_v be_v refer_v to_o faith_n because_o than_o they_o shall_v be_v draw_v to_o grant_v a_o special_a faith_n but_o that_o be_v erroneous_a see_v confidence_n be_v not_o of_o thing_n to_o come_v as_o hope_n be_v but_o of_o thing_n present_a and_o therefore_o although_o confidence_n go_v with_o hope_n yet_o it_o be_v no_o branch_n of_o it_o but_o proceed_v from_o faith_n second_o see_v this_o wait_a be_v a_o certain_a expectation_n of_o christ_n hence_o i_o gather_v that_o there_o be_v a_o special_a faith_n for_o if_o there_o be_v a_o special_a hope_n there_o must_v needs_o be_v a_o special_a faith_n to_o ground_n this_o special_a hope_n upon_o for_o we_o can_v never_o certain_o wait_v for_o that_o whereof_o we_o be_v uncertain_a whether_o it_o belong_v unto_o we_o or_o no_o he_o that_o have_v receive_v the_o earnest_n may_v certain_o wait_v for_o the_o whole_a sum_n but_o it_o be_v faith_n which_o receive_v the_o earnest_n of_o the_o spirit_n from_o whence_o our_o hope_n be_v raise_v heb._n 11.1_o now_o faith_n be_v
