conclude_v any_o thing_n upon_o present_a sense_n the_o work_n of_o grace_n at_o first_o be_v but_o little_a as_o a_o grain_n of_o mustard_n seed_n and_o it_o be_v not_o at_o first_o so_o visible_a in_o the_o work_n of_o wisdom_n i.e._n of_o grace_n and_o bolinesse_n for_o so_o wisdom_n signify_v be_v fear_n thy_o fear_n therefore_o may_v hint_n that_o the_o work_n be_v in_o sieri_fw-la i._n e._n begin_n if_o it_o be_v not_o in_o factu_fw-la i._n e._n begin_v already_o however_o god_n may_v make_v use_n of_o it_o to_o that_o end_n what_o can_v thou_o tell_v but_o now_o that_o thy_o soul_n be_v trouble_v with_o doubt_n about_o the_o work_n of_o grace_n god_n may_v make_v use_n of_o this_o fear_n to_o drive_v thou_o out_o of_o thy_o state_n of_o nature_n and_o to_o draw_v thou_o into_o the_o state_n of_o grace_n how_o many_o poor_a soul_n have_v cry_v out_o i_o have_v no_o true_a grace_n god_n have_v not_o at_o all_o wrought_v upon_o my_o heart_n woe_n be_v i_o what_o shall_v i_o do_v i_o will_v run_v after_o he_o i_o will_v cry_v for_o he_o etc._n etc._n and_o while_o the_o soul_n have_v be_v in_o this_o fear_n god_n have_v begin_v make_v use_n thereof_o to_o work_v real_o sanctification_n he_o will_v it_o and_o if_o god_n will_v and_o thou_o will_v too_o what_o shall_v hinder_v qu_n nay_o but_o what_o shall_v move_v god_n to_o work_v on_o i_o alas_o i_o be_o a_o poor_a pollute_a sinner_n and_o will_v the_o
now_o david_n spirit_n can_v not_o choose_v but_o be_v very_o full_a and_o yet_o mark_v what_o he_o say_v who_o be_o i_o o_o lord_n god_n and_o what_o be_v my_o house_n that_o thou_o have_v bring_v i_o hither-unto_a and_o this_o be_v yet_o a_o small_a thing_n in_o thy_o sight_n o_o lord_n god_n but_o thou_o have_v speak_v also_o of_o thy_o servant_n house_n for_o a_o great_a while_n to_o come_v father_n do_v thou_o see_v in_o prayer_n it_o be_v the_o work_n of_o the_o spirit_n to_o help_v the_o soul_n to_o see_v god_n as_o a_o father_n and_o to_o cry_v abba_n and_o to_o fill_v the_o soul_n with_o not_o word_n and_o expression_n but_o with_o sigh_n and_o groan_v unutterable_a so_o that_o then_o to_o satisfy_v thyself_o o_o deject_a soul_n in_o this_o fear_n consider_v thy_o very_a fear_n be_v choice_n and_o it_o may_v not_o be_v as_o thou_o fear_v but_o shall_v i_o suppose_v it_o suppose_v it_o shall_v be_v so_o that_o as_o yet_o thou_o do_v never_o pray_v suppose_v i_o admit_v it_o present_o will_v you_o say_v your_o letter_n be_v lose_v or_o that_o your_o friend_n do_v not_o receive_v it_o why_o the_o case_n be_v so_o your_o prayer_n be_v your_o letter_n to_o god_n and_o christ_n be_v a_o sure_a messenger_n though_o as_o yet_o god_n have_v not_o send_v his_o answer_n yet_o your_o letter_n be_v read_v your_o prayer_n be_v accept_v and_o in_o time_n viz._n god_n time_n they_o shall_v be_v punctual_o answer_v god_n will_v answer_v your_o prayer_n that_o cry_v unto_o he_o night_n and_o day_n though_o he_o hear_v long_o as_o it_o be_v luk_n 18.7_o but_o second_o it_o be_o full_a of_o doubt_n and_o vexation_n and_o have_v i_o close_v with_o the_o promise_n this_o will_v not_o be_v answ_n say_v not_o so_o o_o soul_n the_o womâ—â—_n that_o come_v behind_o christ_n touch_v he_o though_o she_o tremble_v it_o be_v possible_a for_o a_o soul_n to_o touch_v a_o promise_n even_o so_o far_o as_o to_o draw_v virtue_n out_o of_o it_o aâ—_n it_o be_v indirect_o and_o by_o we_o to_o do_v but_o to_o come_v and_o draw_v such_o as_o stand_v off_o from_o act_v faith_n upon_o the_o promise_v naked_o because_o they_o see_v not_o this_o or_o that_o in_o themselves_o be_v have_v no_o ground_n just_o so_o to_o say_v remember_v nothing_o be_v free_a than_o the_o grace_n of_o christ_n and_o that_o be_v hold_v forth_o to_o thou_o and_o in_o he_o all_o the_o promise_n of_o the_o thing_n in_o he_o why_o be_v thou_o disquiet_v as_o if_o thy_o comfort_n be_v not_o from_o the_o spirit_n since_o as_o no_o man_n know_v the_o thing_n of_o a_o man_n save_o the_o spirit_n
