with_o much_o vexation_n themselves_o to_o be_v pester_v with_o such_o thing_n howbeit_a in_o substance_n and_o in_o the_o chief_a drift_n of_o their_o life_n they_o be_v true-harted_n to_o god_n drip_v into_o these_o former_a fault_n by_o infirmity_n or_o by_o reason_n of_o scant_a measure_n of_o mortification_n than_o they_o ought_v to_o have_v labour_v unto_o so_o that_o the_o odds_n be_v in_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v propound_v to_o a_o man_n desire_n for_o if_o his_o chief_a care_n in_o the_o love_n and_o fear_n of_o god_n be_v to_o seek_v his_o salvation_n whatsoever_o his_o hypocrisy_n be_v it_o be_v not_o his_o guilt_n of_o spirit_n but_o if_o he_o propound_v to_o himself_o some_o other_o thing_n that_o his_o hart_n do_v rather_o labour_v for_o then_o for_o salvation_n it_o be_v certain_a that_o he_o be_v false-hearted_a to_o god_n and_o that_o such_o a_o hypocrisy_n be_v one_fw-mi authentic_a record_n of_o a_o man_n that_o abide_v in_o his_o sin_n and_o such_o a_o man_n as_o this_o have_v neither_o faith_n to_o overcome_v the_o world_n nor_o grace_n to_o resist_v temptation_n and_o though_o he_o say_v that_o he_o be_v persuade_v of_o remission_n and_o extol_v the_o mercy_n of_o god_n above_o the_o sky_n yet_o that_o guile_n that_o remain_v in_o his_o spirit_n torment_v his_o conscience_n every_o day_n convince_a he_o by_o this_o that_o because_o he_o be_v not_o sanctify_v therefore_o he_o be_v not_o pardon_v for_o in_o this_o work_n there_o be_v neither_o water_n only_o nor_o blood_n only_o but_o both_o water_n and_o blood_n as_o saint_n john_n witness_v it_o stand_v we_o therefore_o in_o hand_n not_o to_o satisfy_v ourselves_o with_o a_o devotion_n momentanie_n but_o let_v our_o mind_n stand_v bend_v in_o holy_a woâ—kes_n not_o to_o brag_v he_o reprove_v as_o saint_n paul_a plain_o say_v if_o any_o man_n have_v not_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n the_o same_o be_v not_o of_o christ_n 3_o when_o i_o hold_v my_o tongue_n my_o bone_n strength_n of_o his_o body_n so_o long_o as_o god_n hide_v his_o face_n from_o he_o &_o leave_v he_o destitute_a of_o the_o hope_n of_o salvation_n the_o cause_n whereof_o he_o declare_v in_o the_o first_o word_n of_o the_o verse_n to_o have_v be_v because_o he_o hold_v his_o peace_n that_o be_v deny_v to_o make_v a_o liberal_a confession_n of_o his_o sin_n refuse_v no_o shame_n not_o other_o abasement_n whatsoev_a belong_v thereto_o whereinto_o the_o holy_a ghost_n reach_v we_o that_o cloak_v of_o sin_n howsoever_o it_o serve_v for_o a_o excuse_n in_o the_o world_n and_o save_v our_o confession_n unto_o god_n for_o it_o be_v certain_a that_o a_o dumb_v man_n may_v make_v as_o acceptable_a a_o confession_n
