possible_o at_o any_o time_n lead_v they_o out_o of_o it_o do_v not_o this_o discourage_v people_n and_o rather_o lay_v a_o block_n in_o the_o way_n of_o their_o faith_n then_o to_o point_n ordirect_a they_o unto_o a_o pillar_n and_o ground_n of_o it_o yea_o do_v not_o this_o doctrine_n that_o other_o be_v add_v to_o it_o viz._n that_o immediate_a revelation_n be_v cease_v lie_v a_o much_o more_o probable_a foundation_n for_o any_o man_n unbeleif_n and_o distrust_n in_o the_o lord_n mercy_n and_o willingness_n to_o save_v he_o then_o for_o his_o faith_n thereupon_o for_o when_o any_o man_n thing_n oh_o all_o people_n and_o be_v awaken_v and_o rouse_v up_o out_o of_o your_o slumbering_n in_o which_o your_o teacher_n have_v lull_v you_o that_o you_o may_v once_o at_o last_o perceive_v these_o blind_a guide_n who_o deny_v the_o light_n that_o be_v universal_a and_o whether_o they_o be_v lead_v you_o even_o into_o a_o very_a pit_n of_o darkness_n and_o impiety_n while_o they_o tell_v you_o god_n have_v not_o give_v to_o every_o one_o of_o you_o nay_o nor_o to_o any_o one_o of_o you_o who_o may_v be_v in_o a_o natural_a state_n any_o thing_n through_o which_o it_o be_v possible_a for_o you_o to_o come_v out_o of_o that_o darkness_n and_o death_n in_o which_o you_o lie_v sure_o when_o you_o shall_v come_v to_o any_o nobility_n of_o understanding_n you_o will_v find_v that_o though_o your_o teacher_n say_v the_o quaker_n teach_v pernitions_a principle_n unto_o the_o nation_n that_o indeed_o we_o bring_v glad_a tiding_n unto_o it_o who_o principle_n in_o the_o twofold_a testimony_n aforesaid_a as_o they_o come_v to_o be_v receive_v and_o believe_v by_o the_o nation_n will_v make_v it_o a_o happy_a and_o bless_a nation_n which_o be_v now_o miserable_a because_o of_o that_o ignorance_n and_o iniquity_n that_o abound_v in_o it_o by_o the_o true_a faith_n and_o beleif_n of_o these_o two_o principle_n the_o nation_n that_o be_v now_o as_o a_o barren_a wilderness_n as_o to_o fruit_n of_o righteousness_n will_v become_v as_o the_o garden_n and_o paradise_n of_o god_n the_o glory_n of_o lebanon_n and_o excellency_n of_o carmell_n will_v be_v give_v unto_o it_o and_o it_o will_v become_v a_o marry_a land_n and_o nation_n unto_o the_o lord_n and_o so_o will_v all_o other_o nation_n through_o the_o true_a beleif_fw-mi and_o faith_n of_o this_o twofold_a testimony_n which_o have_v long_o be_v suppress_v and_o war_v against_o and_o the_o few_o witness_n there_o of_o by_o the_o dragon_n and_o his_o follower_n so_o that_o the_o two_o witness_n have_v be_v slay_v for_o three_o long_a day_n and_o a_o half_a in_o asmuch_o as_o beside_o other_o account_n that_o this_o twofold_a testimony_n have_v not_o live_v and_o flourish_v in_o and_o among_o they_o offer_v unto_o all_o yet_o the_o thing_n be_v self_n which_o be_v the_o universal_a grace_n as_o to_o what_o it_o be_v indeed_o and_o in_o truth_n and_o in_o true_a manner_n and_o way_n of_o its_o operation_n they_o both_o deny_v and_o oppose_v it_o for_o asmuch_o as_o they_o both_o deny_v that_o the_o universal_a light_n which_o be_v give_v unto_o all_o it_o the_o light_a evangelical_a or_o a_o light_n for_o the_o faith_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o rest_v in_o therefore_o they_o do_v not_o hold_v it_o forth_o as_o the_o immediate_a object_n of_o the_o christian_a say_v second_o they_o deny_v as_o also_o that_o this_o divine_a seed_n and_o birth_n be_v a_o real_a substance_n or_o that_o the_o divine_a life_n be_v substantial_a or_o subsist_v in_o any_o substantial_a principle_n of_o its_o own_o nature_n and_o so_o i_o say_v true_o that_o both_o arminian_n and_o papist_n deny_v the_o true_a universal_a grace_n as_o to_o what_o it_o be_v indeed_o and_o as_o to_o the_o true_a way_n of_o its_o operation_n and_o therefore_o may_v be_v just_o put_v in_o the_o roll_n with_o other_o as_o unskilful_a physician_n through_o their_o ignorance_n of_o and_o opposition_n unto_o this_o much_o weakness_n and_o leanne_n yet_o so_o as_o who_o have_v be_v true_o single_a towards_o he_o have_v be_v accept_v for_o the_o time_n of_o this_o ignorance_n god_n wink_v at_o but_o now_o command_v all_o man_n every_o where_o to_o repent_v the_o night_n be_v far_o spend_v and_o the_o day_n be_v at_o band_n yea_o it_o be_v already_o dawn_v and_o the_o true_a light_n shine_v out_o of_o the_o darkness_n which_o shall_v run_v and_o spread_v and_o cover_v the_o face_n of_o the_o whole_a earth_n with_o its_o glory_n as_o a_o overflow_a stream_n amen_n a_o few_o word_n concern_v the_o state_n of_o the_o controversy_n and_o the_o explication_n of_o the_o term_n 1._o when_o we_o speak_v of_o the_o light_n as_o give_v unto_o all_o man_n that_o they_o may_v be_v save_v and_o as_o be_v sufficient_a unto_o all_o for_o salvation_n by_o light_n we_o do_v not_o simple_o understand_v a_o thing_n that_o have_v but_o this_o one_o property_n or_o quality_n of_o enlighten_v or_o manifest_v as_o only_o to_o give_v a_o true_a understanding_n of_o thing_n and_o to_o work_v out_o ignorance_n and_o error_n from_o out_o of_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n but_o this_o light_n have_v life_n in_o it_o and_o a_o universal_a virtue_n and_o power_n to_o reach_v unto_o the_o whole_a man_n not_o only_o to_o cure_v the_o blindness_n of_o his_o understanding_n but_o the_o perverseness_n of_o his_o will_n and_o the_o depravednes_n of_o his_o affection_n it_o have_v not_o only_o a_o enlighting_a property_n but_o it_o have_v all_o these_o other_o property_n as_o to_o quicken_v to_o sanctify_v to_o purify_v to_o heal_v to_o mortify_v etc._n etc._n for_o it_o be_v the_o image_n of_o god_n it_o have_v its_o perfection_n answerable_a unto_o those_o which_o be_v in_o god_n so_o that_o as_o in_o god_n there_o be_v light_n life_n love_n goodness_n mercy_n righteousness_n wisdom_n power_n etc._n etc._n so_o in_o this_o light_n which_o come_v from_o he_o there_o be_v all_o these_o thing_n by_o way_n of_o participation_n or_o communication_n 2._o we_o do_v not_o understand_v this_o light_n and_o grace_n or_o gift_n of_o god_n and_o jesus_n christ_n as_o separate_v from_o god_n or_o christ_n for_o that_o it_o be_v as_o impossible_a as_o to_o separate_v the_o beam_n from_o the_o sun_n for_o god_n and_o christ_n be_v one_o with_o the_o light_n that_o come_v from_o they_o forever_o yea_o as_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n be_v inseparable_a so_o be_v the_o light_n which_o come_v from_o they_o inseparable_a from_o both_o and_o according_o as_o we_o say_v there_o be_v a_o save_a light_n from_o the_o father_n of_o light_n and_o from_o jesus_n christ_n communicate_v unto_o all_o man_n and_o which_o be_v in_o all_o man_n so_o god_n and_o christ_n be_v together_o with_o this_o light_n in_o all_o man_n present_a with_o it_o and_o in_o it_o cooperate_a therewith_o for_o as_o christ_n say_v i_o can_v do_v nothing_o of_o myself_o and_o my_o father_n work_v hitherto_o and_o i_o work_v so_o the_o light_n which_o come_v from_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n can_v do_v the_o work_v alone_o but_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n do_v cooperate_v therewith_o and_o therein_o hence_o in_o scripture_n every_o good_a thing_n or_o motion_n in_o any_o man_n be_v ascribe_v unto_o god_n himself_o as_o immediate_o present_a the_o immediate_a author_n and_o worker_n of_o it_o it_o they_o be_v one_o with_o god_n and_o christ._n and_o of_o this_o sort_n or_o manner_n of_o in-being_a which_o be_v by_o union_n and_o christ_n form_v within_o the_o scripture_n speak_v frequent_o and_o do_v hold_v it_o forth_o as_o only_o belong_v unto_o the_o saint_n but_o as_o concern_v this_o particular_a how_o god_n and_o christ_n be_v in_o all_o man_n unto_o salvation_n within_o a_o day_n of_o the_o visitation_n of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n unto_o they_o and_o also_o how_o god_n and_o christ_n be_v not_o in_o all_o but_o only_o in_o the_o saint_n and_o child_n of_o god_n according_a one_o spirit_n and_o diversity_n of_o administration_n but_o one_o lord_n which_o diversity_n of_o operation_n and_o administration_n be_v reducoable_a unto_o these_o two_o the_o law_n and_o the_o gospel_n or_o the_o first_o covenant_n and_o the_o second_o which_o two_o as_o they_o be_v very_o distinguishable_a among_o the_o jew_n so_o be_v they_o also_o among_o the_o gentile_n as_o concern_v the_o jew_n they_o have_v first_o the_o law_n which_o come_v by_o moses_n and_o second_o they_o have_v the_o grace_n and_o truth_n which_o come_v by_o jesus_n christ._n the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o law_n and_o the_o righteousness_n of_o faith_n and_o these_o two_o though_o they_o be_v distinguishable_a yet_o as_o they_o be_v administer_v of_o god_n they_o be_v not_o separate_v nor_o divide_v but_o the_o gospel_n lie_v hide_v within_o the_o law_n as_o within_o a_o vail_n which_o the_o outward_a tabernacle_n do_v plain_o figure_n and_o hold_v forth_o for_o what_o do_v the_o holy_a of_o holye_n signify_v within_o the_o outward_a court_n and_o holy_a place_n but_o the_o gospel_n and_o the_o administration_n thereof_o within_o the_o law_n and_o its_o administration_n and_o thus_o christ_n jesus_n be_v in_o the_o law_n and_o under_o it_o but_z as_o within_z and_o under_o the_o vail_n and_o here_o the_o light_n shine_v in_o darkness_n but_o the_o darkness_n do_v not_o comprehend_v it_o the_o dispensation_n of_o the_o law_n be_v as_o darkness_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o clear_a dispensation_n of_o the_o gospel_n yet_o even_o in_o this_o darkness_n do_v christ_n letter_n so_o universal_o in_o all_o man_n both_o jew_n and_o gentile_n there_o have_v be_v moses_n and_o the_o prophet_n in_o the_o spirit_n and_o also_o christ_n else_o what_o can_v be_v understand_v by_o these_o word_n death_n reign_v over_o all_o from_o adam_n unto_o moses_n here_o be_v a_o adam_n which_o relate_v unto_o all_o man_n both_o jew_n and_o gentile_n and_o here_o be_v also_o a_o moses_n that_o relate_v unto_o all_o which_o certain_o can_v be_v that_o individual_a or_o particular_a man_n moses_n but_o a_o dispensation_n of_o god_n unto_o man_n answerable_a unto_o it_o be_v by_o the_o shine_a of_o the_o true_a light_n in_o such_o that_o those_o that_o resist_v not_o its_o operation_n come_v to_o be_v so_o change_v object_n 2._o all_o man_n have_v not_o faith_n therefore_o all_o man_n have_v not_o save_v light_n answ._n i_o deny_v the_o consequence_n for_o faith_n be_v the_o effect_n of_o this_o save_a light_n only_o in_o those_o that_o resist_v not_o its_o meek_a and_o gentle_a operation_n not_o in_o those_o that_o resist_v it_o for_o in_o they_o it_o produce_v not_o faith_n but_o condemnation_n so_o we_o grant_v all_o man_n have_v not_o faith_n hope_n unbeliever_n may_v come_v to_o believe_v
all_o to_o be_v save_v absolute_o but_o conditional_o ex_fw-la parte_fw-la objecti_fw-la upon_o their_o believe_a and_o whereas_o it_o be_v again_o by_o they_o object_v either_o god_n will_v they_o
