and_o prevail_v of_o grace_n be_v then_o see_v and_o discover_v itself_o that_o it_o fare_v with_o a_o regenerate_a man_n in_o this_o case_n often_o as_o with_o a_o man_n that_o be_v deadly_o wound_v who_o rise_v up_o to_o strike_v his_o enemy_n and_o think_v to_o run_v he_o through_o but_o sink_v down_o again_o medio_fw-la conatu_fw-la when_o his_o sword_n be_v at_o his_o enemy_n breast_n through_o a_o deficiency_n of_o spirit_n or_o as_o a_o man_n in_o a_o palsy_n or_o the_o gout_n who_o think_v he_o be_v able_a to_o walk_v till_o he_o come_v to_o try_v and_o then_o he_o find_v a_o weakness_n which_o make_v he_o fall_v back_o again_o thus_o even_o when_o the_o whole_a force_n of_o lust_n be_v muster_v up_o yet_o the_o weapon_n fall_v out_o of_o their_o hand_n humour_n in_o a_o healthful_a constitution_n may_v stir_v and_o boake_n in_o the_o stomach_n when_o yet_o they_o come_v not_o up_o nor_o prevail_v unto_o vomit_v in_o that_o place_n afore_o name_v gal._n 5._o the_o and_o the_o flesh_n above_o and_o so_o steer_v the_o helm_n otherwise_o the_o lust_a of_o the_o spirit_n against_o the_o flesh_n will_v hinder_v the_o outward_a do_v and_o fulfil_v of_o a_o lust_n for_o the_o reason_n he_o give_v verse_n 17._o so_o as_o you_o can_v do_v what_o you_o will_v imply_v that_o not_o only_a lusting_n which_o arise_v without_o consent_n may_v be_v in_o such_o a_o man_n but_o further_a much_o of_o the_o will_n may_v be_v win_v to_o consent_v to_o they_o to_o like_v they_o when_o yet_o there_o be_v not_o strength_n enough_o to_o carry_v it_o on_o to_o the_o outward_a act_n you_o can_v do_v what_o you_o will_v and_o what_o those_o work_n of_o the_o flesh_n be_v which_o be_v manifest_a work_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o which_o christian_n whilst_o they_o walk_v in_o the_o spirit_n fulfil_v not_o he_o mention_n and_o reckon_v up_o in_o the_o follow_a word_n and_o this_o be_v the_o more_o ordinary_a frame_n of_o a_o christian_n heart_n for_o verse_n 24._o say_v he_o they_o that_o be_v christ_n have_v crucify_v the_o affection_n and_o lust_n that_o be_v so_o far_o as_o not_o to_o fulfil_v they_o 3._o he_o may_v more_o easy_o fall_v into_o a_o gross_a sin_n of_o another_o kind_n then_o into_o the_o same_o after_o special_a repentance_n for_o it_o and_o peace_n speak_v in_o the_o pardon_n of_o it_o because_o true_a repentance_n especial_o fortify_v the_o some_o especial_a sin_n and_o in_o the_o endeavour_v to_o mortify_v some_o especial_a member_n of_o the_o body_n of_o sin_n to_o mortify_v which_o not_o only_o in_o the_o bulk_n and_o general_n but_o
