digest_v it_o and_o so_o by_o often_o take_v at_o last_o do_v gather_v strength_n and_o take_v that_o willing_o with_o hope_n which_o before_o he_o receive_v against_o his_o will_n with_o a_o kind_n of_o loathe_v so_o thy_o sick_a soul_n by_o often_o use_v the_o holy_a mean_n that_o god_n have_v appoint_v at_o last_o through_o his_o blessing_n will_v strengthen_v thou_o and_o make_v thou_o to_o use_v they_o of_o love_n &_o desire_n which_o now_o thou_o do_v but_o unchearful_o and_o with_o a_o certain_a kind_n of_o loathe_v there_o be_v a_o defect_n in_o the_o stomach_n or_o some_o other_o part_n of_o the_o body_n which_o will_v not_o suffer_v wholesome_a meat_n to_o be_v digest_v so_o in_o the_o inward_a man_n the_o defect_n may_v be_v in_o the_o understanding_n which_o may_v be_v dark_a or_o in_o the_o memory_n which_o may_v be_v brittle_a or_o in_o the_o utterance_n which_o may_v be_v slow_a or_o in_o thy_o faith_n which_o may_v be_v weak_a or_o in_o thy_o repentance_n which_o may_v be_v imperfect_a or_o in_o thy_o love_n which_o may_v be_v small_a or_o in_o thy_o zeal_n which_o may_v be_v bitter_a or_o cold_a or_o in_o thy_o mind_n which_o may_v be_v earthly_a or_o in_o thy_o affection_n which_o may_v be_v unrulie_a or_o in_o thy_o whole_a man_n which_o may_v be_v lumpish_a heavy_a and_o untoward_a to_o good_a thing_n yet_o in_o all_o these_o remain_v a_o double_a comfort_n first_o these_o grace_n be_v not_o counterfeit_a but_o in_o truth_n be_v such_o as_o they_o seem_v to_o be_v thou_o understand_v aright_o thou_o utter_v the_o truth_n though_o but_o slow_o thou_o remember_v the_o best_a thing_n and_o believe_v the_o word_n and_o repent_a in_o truth_n with_o hatred_n of_o thy_o sin_n and_o thou_o love_v god_n and_o his_o word_n for_o themselves_o sake_n again_o so_o much_o as_o thou_o understand_v and_o know_v and_o remember_v &_o believe_v &_o love_v thou_o also_o affect_v &_o embrace_v in_o heart_n &_o desire_v to_o grow_v in_o they_o &_o to_o practice_v they_o to_o the_o praise_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o still_o hope_n and_o wait_v on_o god_n for_o though_o god_n seem_v now_o to_o thy_o soul_n as_o if_o he_o have_v no_o care_n of_o thou_o yet_o he_o do_v care_n for_o thou_o and_o thou_o shall_v one_o day_n joyful_o sing_v as_o david_n do_v here_o lord_n thou_o have_v hear_v the_o desire_n of_o the_o poor_a etc._n etc._n will_v not_o grant_v i_o my_o desire_n and_o so_o be_v it_o take_v also_o sometime_o amongst_o we_o in_o our_o common_a manner_n of_o speak_v as_o when_o we_o do_v not_o favour_v a_o man_n suit_n we_o use_v to_o say_v i_o hear_v you_o not_o this_o be_v that_o which_o the_o child_n of_o god_n do_v most_o groan_n and_o long_o for_o in_o prayer_n namely_o to_o pray_v so_o that_o the_o lord_n may_v hear_v they_o that_o be_v may_v afford_v they_o a_o gration_n hear_v which_o if_o they_o may_v be_v assure_v of_o then_o be_v their_o heart_n fill_v with_o joy_n whatsoever_o happen_v to_o they_o in_o the_o world_n and_o all_o their_o fear_n be_v lest_o their_o sin_n and_o sinful_a prayer_n shall_v stop_v the_o ear_n not_o of_o the_o lord_n simple_o but_o of_o his_o grace_n and_o favour_n against_o hypocrite_n regard_v not_o so_o much_o whether_o the_o lord_n do_v hear_v they_o or_o no_o but_o whether_o man_n do_v hear_v they_o that_o be_v all_o their_o care_n they_o pray_v to_o be_v see_v of_o man_n and_o to_o be_v hear_v of_o man_n only_o labour_v with_o their_o lip_n but_o without_o any_o strife_n of_o the_o heart_n they_o pomp_n it_o they_o chant_v it_o they_o howl_v it_o and_o throat_n it_o to_o please_v themselves_o and_o other_o but_o whether_o all_o that_o pain_n of_o they_o be_v accept_v with_o god_n they_o never_o so_o much_o as_o once_o think_v so_o that_o when_o they_o have_v do_v their_o stint_n and_o task_n they_o may_v say_v as_o the_o harlot_n say_v of_o who_o solomon_n speak_v 14._o to_o day_n i_o have_v peace-offering_n i_o have_v pay_v my_o vow_n and_o so_o leave_v for_o that_o matter_n it_o be_v no_o matter_n whether_o they_o be_v receive_v or_o no_o she_o have_v pay_v they_o so_o say_v the_o hipocrit_n i_o have_v say_v all_o my_o prayer_n to_o day_n i_o have_v of_o the_o say_n of_o his_o prayer_n as_o he_o do_v of_o god_n mercy_n in_o hear_v his_o prayer_n lord_n i_o thank_v thou_o say_v the_o pharisee_n that_o i_o fast_o and_o pray_v so_o often_o in_o a_o week_n but_o lord_n be_v merciful_a to_o i_o say_v the_o publican_n lord_n i_o pray_v in_o thy_o temple_n say_v the_o one_o as_o the_o wicked_a in_o the_o gospel_n lord_n we_o have_v hear_v thou_o
