the_o mystery_n of_o god_n be_v comprehend_v without_o which_o no_o man_n can_v be_v a_o true_a teacher_n in_o the_o church_n of_o god_n and_o of_o christ_n according_a to_o the_o gift_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n which_o be_v ordain_v by_o god_n to_o such_o ministry_n although_o they_o be_v not_o absolute_o necessary_a for_o every_o child_n of_o god_n for_o it_o be_v not_o knowledge_n and_o science_n that_o save_v and_o make_v we_o happy_a in_o christ_n jesus_n but_o the_o true_a faith_n be_v effectual_a by_o love_n therefore_o the_o knowledge_n wisdom_n and_o understanding_n of_o child_n be_v one_o thing_n and_o another_o thing_n that_o of_o the_o young_a man_n and_o another_o thing_n that_o of_o father_n and_o old_a man_n for_o every_o one_o have_v his_o own_o peculiar_a gift_n of_o grace_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n as_o paul_n teach_v 1_o cor._n 14._o for_o it_o be_v not_o a_o mere_a outward_a literal_a or_o habitual_a work_n of_o reason_n borrow_v from_o the_o heathen_n as_o now_o adays_o be_v teach_v in_o the_o school_n where_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n with_o his_o true_a gift_n be_v extrude_v and_o reject_v but_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o of_o christ_n impart_v in_o to_o every_o one_o as_o much_o as_o it_o please_v and_o according_a as_o the_o holy_a soul_n do_v order_n and_o behave_v themselves_o in_o pray_v aright_o that_o they_o may_v be_v full_o and_o fundamental_o partaker_n of_o the_o divine_a
be_v convert_v to_o christ_n and_o even_o this_o be_v the_o eternal_a gospel_n viz._n that_o god_n have_v love_v we_o in_o christ_n from_o eternity_n and_o he_o himself_o be_v love_n and_o this_o be_v for_o as_o the_o circumcision_n in_o the_o flesh_n be_v not_o account_v for_o the_o right_n and_o true_a circumcision_n avail_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n unto_o salvation_n neither_o the_o baptism_n of_o and_o in_o the_o flesh_n nor_o faith_n consist_v in_o a_o literal_a and_o historical_a knowledge_n so_o be_v neither_o this_o true_a and_o save_a faith_n which_o be_v according_a to_o the_o literal_a knowledge_n and_o history_n but_o according_a to_o the_o spirit_n the_o power_n and_o the_o deed_n which_o be_v love_n therefore_o say_v the_o scripture_n very_o well_o in_o christ_n neither_o circumcision_n nor_o uncircumcision_n avail_v any_o thing_n nor_o baptism_n neither_o but_o faith_n which_o work_v and_o be_v effectual_a by_o love_n chap._n viii_o that_o love_n be_v the_o true_a and_o only_o mean_v whereby_o a_o man_n may_v attain_v the_o true_a christianity_n see_v that_o the_o body_n of_o christian_n be_v by_o discord_n so_o divide_v yea_o whole_o rend_v and_o turn_v to_o be_v of_o one_o mind_n one_o faith_n and_o knowledge_n one_o religion_n and_o worship_n of_o god_n lest_o the_o lord_n come_v and_o smite_v the_o earth_n with_o a_o curse_n and_o they_o all_o perish_v together_o this_o general_n and_o universal_a conversion_n will_v not_o be_v do_v by_o any_o carnal_a humane_a literal_a mind_n but_o by_o the_o mind_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n which_o be_v not_o paul_n cephas_n and_o apollo_n according_a to_o the_o self-willed_a imagination_n of_o literal_a and_o carnal_a christian_n but_o the_o mind_n of_o peter_n paul_n and_o apollo_n be_v the_o mind_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o who_o they_o receive_v it_o now_o although_o paul_n plant_v apollo_n water_v peter_n dress_v and_o cleanse_v yet_o they_o be_v not_o divide_v though_o different_a if_o therefore_o the_o mind_n of_o the_o sect_n be_v also_o the_o mind_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o if_o they_o have_v receive_v it_o from_o the_o spirit_n than_o it_o be_v right_a and_o good_a and_o then_o they_o be_v the_o child_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o although_o one_o man_n have_v labour_v more_o than_o another_o and_o one_o have_v plant_v christianity_n among_o the_o heathen_n another_o water_v it_o the_o three_o cleanse_v and_o refine_v it_o yet_o they_o must_v not_o hate_v one_o another_o much_o less_o command_v their_o disciple_n and_o follower_n to_o kill_v one_o another_o or_o although_o they_o now_o and_o then_o yea_o for_o the_o most_o part_n find_v but_o false_a apostle_n yea_o many_o wolf_n among_o the_o sheep_n yet_o notwithstanding_o the_o whole_a apostleship_n and_o the_o whole_a herd_n be_v not_o to_o be_v reject_v therefore_o but_o rather_o know_v this_o that_o the_o church_n and_o congregation_n of_o god_n be_v among_o all_o sort_n of_o people_n office_n sort_n and_o degree_n and_o have_v this_o seal_n viz._n the_o lord_n know_v who_o be_v his_o and_o no_o man_n else_o and_o this_o be_v the_o true_a mark_n of_o christian_n viz._n love_v out_o of_o a_o pure_a heart_n of_o a_o good_a conscience_n and_o of_o faith_n unfeigned_a in_o every_o nation_n he_o that_o fear_v god_n and_o work_v righteousness_n be_v accept_v with_o he_o act._n 10._o this_o be_v the_o most_o precious_a and_o bless_a way_n to_o salvation_n viz._n love_n be_v the_o chief_a of_o all_o grace_n 1_o cor._n 13._o therefore_o how_o can_v the_o tear_a body_n of_o the_o christian_n become_v whole_a and_o happy_a again_o very_o not_o otherwise_o then_o by_o love_n here_o all_o the_o great_a and_o learned_a scholar_n among_o all_o sort_n of_o sect_n must_v lay_v down_o their_o great_a wisdom_n art_n and_o science_n and_o must_v turn_v and_o become_v child_n lay_v hold_n on_o love_n otherwise_o they_o shall_v never_o come_v to_o unity_n nor_o enter_v into_o the_o
