shall_v be_v under_o their_o rule_n and_o government_n god_n first_o glorious_a appearance_n shall_v be_v among_o these_o which_o shall_v dwell_v in_o tent_n and_o the_o governor_n they_o see_v this_o how_o wonderful_o god_n do_v appear_v for_o this_o people_n and_o own_v they_o shatter_v all_o that_o do_v but_o lift_v up_o a_o hand_n against_o they_o to_o piece_n and_o bring_v all_o plot_n and_o counsel_n against_o they_o to_o nothing_o they_o shall_v be_v so_o strange_o convince_v that_o they_o shall_v say_v in_o their_o heart_n i._n e._n private_o it_o may_v be_v either_o for_o shame_n or_o and_o they_o ought_v to_o do_v but_o yet_o they_o shall_v say_v in_o their_o heart_n the_o inhabitant_n of_o jerusalem_n my_o strength_n for_o this_o shall_v be_v be_v but_o put_v into_o the_o text_n in_o the_o lord_n of_o host_n their_o god_n as_o to_o say_v well_o now_o we_o plain_o see_v where_o our_o strength_n lie_v this_o be_v the_o very_a people_n we_o must_v own_v and_o stick_v too_o or_o assure_o we_o go_v down_o for_o this_o we_o clear_o behold_v that_o the_o lord_n of_o host_n be_v their_o god_n and_o if_o we_o do_v but_o stick_v to_o this_o people_n we_o shall_v have_v their_o god_n go_v along_o with_o we_o and_o therefore_o without_o any_o long_a controversy_n here_o lie_v our_o strength_n we_o stand_v or_o fall_v in_o own_v or_o disow_v this_o people_n again_o vers_fw-la stick_v to_o these_o but_o present_o god_n stick_v to_o they_o and_o appear_v for_o they_o and_o make_v they_o terrible_a to_o all_o they_o and_o his_o people_n adversary_n no_o soon_o do_v any_o state_n own_o god_n people_n but_o he_o own_v they_o now_o what_o be_v it_o be_v speak_v of_o the_o governor_n of_o judah_n why_o this_o i_o will_v make_v the_o governor_n of_o judah_n like_o a_o hearth_n of_o fire_n you_o know_v take_v ever_o so_o much_o wood_n and_o lay_v it_o on_o a_o hearth_n of_o fire_n and_o the_o hearth_n of_o fire_n make_v away_o with_o it_o and_o it_o be_v consume_v and_o take_v a_o sheaf_n or_o stack_n of_o corn_n though_o ever_o so_o great_a and_o put_v but_o a_o torch_n into_o it_o and_o that_o will_v consume_v it_o all_o immediate_o so_o say_v god_n shall_v the_o governor_n of_o judab_n be_v they_o shall_v consume_v and_o devour_v all_o the_o people_n on_o the_o right_a hand_n and_o on_o the_o left_a etc._n etc._n we_o see_v here_o by_o the_o by_o what_o be_v the_o way_n to_o make_v a_o state_n or_o a_o kingdom_n happy_a to_o make_v they_o prosperous_a and_o terrible_a to_o all_o god_n enemy_n why_o to_o own_o the_o people_n of_o god_n in_o vers_fw-la do_v rise_v up_o out_o of_o these_o declining_n with_o advantage_n as_o we_o see_v a_o corn_n of_o wheat_n fall_v to_o the_o ground_n and_o die_v but_o rise_v with_o advantage_n a_o ear_n for_o a_o corn_n so_o when_o thy_o grace_n have_v seem_v to_o be_v dead_a as_o it_o be_v for_o a_o while_n yet_o have_v thou_o not_o at_o last_o see_v it_o sprout_v up_o with_o advantage_n more_o faith_n more_o pure_o legal_a so_o much_o as_o they_o keep_v their_o eye_n upon_o the_o covenant_n of_o abraham_n so_o much_o they_o be_v of_o gospel_n spirit_n and_o their_o work_n be_v gospel_n work_n and_o on_o the_o contrary_a so_o much_o as_o the_o covenant_n of_o moses_n have_v command_v over_o they_o and_o do_v reach_v their_o spirit_n and_o conscience_n so_o much_o their_o spirit_n be_v legal_a and_o their_o act_n legal_a so_o that_o there_o do_v plain_o appear_v something_o of_o grace_n and_o legality_n in_o the_o spirit_n and_o act_n of_o most_o of_o the_o old_a testament_n saint_n and_o yet_o notwithstanding_o though_o there_o be_v somewhat_o of_o legality_n in_o their_o spirit_n and_o act_n by_o virtue_n of_o their_o be_v under_o the_o old_a covenant_n yet_o be_v not_o their_o act_n pure_o legal_a nor_o their_o walk_n a_o pure_a legal_a walk_n because_o they_o have_v in_o their_o walk_n and_o act_v respect_n too_o unto_o that_o other_o covenant_n make_v with_o abraham_n which_o be_v a_o covenant_n of_o grace_n now_o although_o this_o old_a covenant_n be_v abrogate_a upon_o the_o come_n of_o christ_n and_o be_v now_o of_o no_o long_o force_v to_o the_o saint_n in_o the_o new_a testament_n yet_o in_o regard_n this_o covenant_n be_v more_o natural_a to_o we_o than_o the_o other_o and_o also_o be_v once_o in_o be_v in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n and_o the_o disannul_v thereof_o be_v not_o present_o make_v clear_a to_o a_o soul_n especial_o which_o have_v but_o a_o little_a gospel_n light_n it_o therefore_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o many_o of_o new_a testament_n saint_n but_o of_o a_o old_a testament_n spirit_n use_v 1_o be_v it_o so_o that_o legal_a walk_n be_v walk_v after_o the_o flesh_n then_o this_o discover_v to_o we_o that_o there_o be_v abundance_n of_o rotten-hearted_a professor_n in_o the_o world_n how_o many_o person_n be_v there_o who_o walk_v after_o the_o flesh_n i_o mean_v who_o be_v pure_a legal_a walker_n shall_v we_o come_v to_o those_o who_o be_v professor_n the_o general_a bulk_n of_o professor_n who_o walk_v in_o a_o way_n of_o duty_n and_o search_v they_o narrow_o we_o shall_v find_v ten_o to_o one_o to_o be_v legal_a walker_n all_o their_o religion_n their_o duty_n their_o prayer_n tear_n repentance_n etc._n etc._n it_o spring_v from_o the_o law_n the_o law_n be_v principle_n and_o motive_n in_o their_o obedience_n the_o great_a and_o only_a wheel_n and_o engine_n that_o turn_v all_o and_o carry_v they_o to_o all_o that_o they_o do_v such_o a_o man_n pray_v in_o his_o family_n be_v a_o frequenter_a of_o sermon_n etc._n etc._n but_o why_o alas_o he_o dare_v not_o do_v otherwise_o the_o law_n overrule_v he_o the_o law_n have_v get_v command_n in_o his_o conscience_n so_o that_o shall_v he_o not_o pray_v etc._n etc._n and_o do_v some_o good_a and_o avoid_v some_o evil_n he_o shall_v have_v no_o peace_n nor_o quiet_a within_o his_o conscience_n will_v be_v his_o tormentor_n and_o continual_o lash_v he_o and_o therefore_o he_o do_v these_o thing_n not_o out_o of_o any_o love_n to_o the_o thing_n he_o do_v no_o he_o hate_v they_o count_v they_o his_o burden_n and_o intolerable_a task_n and_o will_v glad_o can_v he_o find_v a_o way_n to_o avoid_v hell_n and_o get_v heaven_n without_o do_v of_o any_o of_o these_o thing_n throw_v off_o all_o but_o because_o he_o know_v no_o other_o covenant_n of_o work_n which_o open_v will_v help_v we_o in_o the_o consideration_n of_o the_o other_o how_o it_o come_v in_o christ_n hand_n as_o it_o be_v our_o gospel_n rule_v if_o you_o will_v know_v how_o the_o law_n come_v in_o moses_n

law_n of_o christ_n christ_n first_o give_v his_o spirit_n than_o his_o law_n as_o ezek._n 36.27_o i_o will_v put_v my_o spirit_n within_o you_o what_o then_o and_o i_o will_v cause_v you_o to_o walk_v in_o my_o way_n first_o the_o spirit_n to_o enable_v to_o obedience_n than_o the_o law_n and_o they_o do_v obey_v it_o therefore_o all_o such_o obedience_n be_v gospel-walking_a other_o question_n there_o be_v behind_o which_o i_o can_v reach_v at_o present_a i_o shall_v only_o mind_v you_o of_o this_o that_o what_o have_v be_v before_o speak_v serve_v to_o correct_v two_o great_a that_o they_o can_v never_o stand_v together_o and_o therefore_o that_o grace_n may_v be_v all_o the_o law_n and_o good_a work_n shall_v be_v nothing_o at_o all_o who_o mistake_n be_v correct_v from_o what_o have_v be_v say_v and_o prove_v that_o the_o moral_a law_n remain_v a_o rule_n to_o saint_n in_o gospel-time_n 2_o a_o mistake_n of_o some_o other_o on_o the_o other_o hand_n who_o out_o of_o zeal_n for_o the_o moral_a law_n do_v hand_n over_o head_n urge_v and_o press_v the_o same_o as_o the_o rule_n of_o saint_n never_o consider_v how_o or_o in_o what_o sense_n the_o same_o remain_v a_o rule_n and_o by_o so_o do_v they_o bring_v the_o glorious_a son_n of_o zion_n the_o freeborn_a saint_n of_o the_o gospel_n under_o the_o power_n and_o command_n of_o a_o covenant_n of_o work_n ere_o they_o be_v aware_a who_o mistake_n be_v correct_v by_o distinguish_v of_o command_n as_o they_o be_v moses_n and_o christ_n in_o the_o first_o sense_n the_o law_n be_v not_o a_o saint_n rule_n and_o it_o be_v dangerous_a so_o to_o make_v it_o in_o the_o latter_a it_o be_v and_o it_o be_v sweet_a and_o comfortable_a so_o to_o receive_v it_o therefore_o you_o that_o be_v saint_n and_o believer_n hence_o learn_v two_o thing_n i_o not_o to_o reject_v the_o moral_a law_n as_o a_o rule_n to_o order_v your_o life_n and_o conversation_n by_o but_o with_o love_n delight_n and_o cheerfulness_n approve_v of_o embrace_v and_o obey_v the_o same_o 2_o not_o to_o take_v the_o moral_a law_n for_o your_o rule_n as_o it_o come_v out_o of_o moses_n his_o hand_n for_o than_o you_o bring_v yourselves_o under_o the_o power_n of_o a_o covenant_n of_o work_n and_o your_o soul_n will_v be_v continual_o fill_v with_o terror_n fear_n and_o tremble_a cover_v over_o with_o darkness_n lie_v under_o apprehension_n of_o wrath_n and_o altogether_o weak_a and_o unable_a to_o do_v what_o be_v command_v but_o take_v it_o out_o of_o the_o hand_n of_o christ_n and_o then_o with_o paul_n you_o will_v say_v the_o law_n if_o holy_a just_a and_o good_a i_o consent_v to_o the_o law_n that_o it_o be_v good_a i_o delight_v in_o the_o law_n of_o god_n after_o the_o inner_a man_n yea_o with_o my_o mind_n i_o myself_o do_v serve_v the_o law_n of_o god_n which_o gospel-walking_a the_o lord_n bring_v you_o and_o i_o daily_o more_o and_o more_o unto_o amen_n when_o a_o man_n walk_n may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v a_o gospel_n walk_v sermon_n vi._n rom._n 8.1_o who_o walk_v not_o after_o the_o flesh_n but_o after_o the_o spirit_n by_o this_o time_n you_o know_v the_o meaning_n of_o these_o phrase_n which_o you_o have_v oft_o hear_v to_o be_v mean_v either_o of_o legal_a or_o gospel_n walk_v walk_v after_o the_o old_a or_o new_a man_n i_o have_v speak_v or_o legal_a walk_n and_o be_o now_o upon_o gospel_n walk_v the_o last_o day_n i_o show_v you_o what_o gospel_n walk_v be_v i_o now_o proceed_v to_o another_o question_n viz._n 2_o quest_n when_o may_v a_o man_n walk_n be_v say_v to_o be_v a_o gospel_n walk_v or_o a_o walk_n after_o the_o gospel_n i_o answer_v i._o when_o the_o rule_n of_o a_o man_n obedience_n be_v a_o gospel_n rule_n i.e._n the_o law_n as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o hand_n of_o christ._n of_o this_o have_v speak_v at_o large_a the_o last_o day_n i_o shall_v whole_o wave_v it_o now_o 2_o when_o the_o principle_n of_o a_o man_n obedience_n or_o walk_n be_v a_o gospel_n principle_n quest_n but_o what_o be_v the_o gospel_n principle_n answ_n this_o gospel_n hold_v forth_o two_o great_a thing_n viz._n a_o crucify_a christ_n to_o be_v believe_v on_o and_o the_o pour_v along_o humble_o seek_v after_o truth_n and_o the_o will_n of_o god_n as_o god_n shall_v make_v out_o the_o same_o to_o i_o i_o see_v thingsclear_a and_o with_o much_o evidence_n and_o inward_a have_v that_o inward_a light_n to_o direct_v i_o nor_o than_o evidence_n nor_o clearness_n concern_v the_o thing_n i_o have_v find_v out_o as_o before_o i_o have_v quest_n but_o how_o shall_v i_o come_v to_o this_o to_o follow_v the_o spirit_n answ_n 1._o observe_v when_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n go_v before_o thou_o either_o in_o the_o discovery_n of_o any_o truth_n or_o help_v thou_o in_o sometime_o it_o be_v take_v so_o strict_o that_o it_o may_v contain_v not_o much_o more_o time_n if_o so_o much_o as_o a_o mere_a natural_a day_n and_o so_o we_o have_v the_o day_n of_o that_o great_a battle_n of_o armageddon_n often_o call_v where_o it_o be_v speak_v of_o that_o day_n rev._n 16.14_o and_o joel_n 3._o and_o other_o place_n sometime_o it_o be_v take_v strict_o but_o not_o so_o strict_o and_o then_o it_o be_v put_v for_o the_o whole_a time_n of_o christ_n kingdom_n here_o on_o earth_n from_o the_o time_n that_o he_o set_v up_o his_o kingdom_n to_o the_o end_n and_o this_o be_v so_o frequent_o speak_v of_o in_o the_o prophet_n that_o i_o need_v name_n no_o place_n only_o i_o will_v turn_v you_o to_o one_o because_o not_o far_o from_o the_o text_n zach._n 14.6_o 7_o 8_o 9_o and_o it_o shall_v come_v to_o pass_v in_o that_o day_n that_o the_o light_n shall_v not_o be_v clear_a nor_o dark_a but_o it_o shall_v be_v one_o day_n which_o shall_v be_v know_v to_o the_o
