receive_v life_n sense_n and_o move_v from_o the_o head_n so_o there_o be_v not_o a_o spiritual_a member_n of_o the_o body_n of_o jesus_n christ_n but_o it_o must_v receive_v from_o the_o head_n jesus_n through_o his_o spirit_n spiritual_a life_n sense_n and_o move_a and_o if_o thou_o stand_v in_o the_o body_n this_o furniture_n must_v flow_v to_o thou_o from_o the_o head_n this_o be_v the_o first_o sort_n of_o furnish_v there_o be_v another_o sort_n which_o be_v of_o other_o particular_a grace_n convey_v into_o man_n and_o woman_n by_o this_o spirit_n faith_n and_o love_n and_o yet_o of_o great_a variety_n i_o will_v get_v a_o particular_a grace_n thou_o will_v get_v another_o particular_a grace_n another_o man_n will_v get_v the_o three_o so_o that_o it_o be_v not_o needful_a that_o thou_o have_v this_o whole_a furniture_n seek_v not_o all_o grace_n seek_v they_o not_o for_o there_o be_v none_o that_o have_v all_o grace_n have_v the_o eye_n all_o grace_n nay_o the_o spirit_n every_o man_n must_v not_o have_v all_o gift_n of_o the_o spirit_n foot_n have_v a_o grace_n that_o the_o eye_n have_v not_o seek_v then_o for_o grace_n but_o so_o that_o it_o be_v without_o a_o ambitious_a desire_n of_o the_o grace_n of_o other_o be_v ever_o provide_v that_o you_o want_v not_o some_o of_o this_o furniture_n strive_v to_o excel_v in_o the_o grace_n of_o regeneration_n with_o all_o the_o world_n but_o in_o other_o grace_n strive_v not_o then_o you_o see_v this_o first_o effect_n of_o furnish_v it_o follow_v upon_o the_o joint_n and_o band_n so_o that_o if_o thou_o have_v not_o the_o joint_n and_o band_n thou_o can_v not_o have_v the_o furniture_n of_o grace_n therefore_o look_v that_o thou_o have_v the_o spirit_n otherwise_o thou_o shall_v get_v no_o life_n sense_n move_v nor_o sanctification_n i_o repeat_v it_o again_o look_v thou_o have_v the_o band_n or_o else_o thou_o shall_v not_o be_v in_o the_o mystical_a body_n of_o christ_n so_o to_o the_o next_o effect_n flow_v from_o these_o joint_n and_o band_n it_o be_v the_o knit_n together_o of_o the_o body_n and_o every_o member_n thereof_o one_o with_o another_o as_o the_o spirit_n of_o jesus_n be_v the_o band_n that_o member_n the_o spirit_n be_v the_o band_n which_o knit_v we_o with_o christ_n and_o his_o member_n knit_v up_o the_o member_n with_o the_o head_n so_o he_o be_v the_o band_n that_o knit_v the_o member_n among_o themselves_o that_o knit_v thou_o with_o thy_o neighbour_n and_o make_v a_o mutual_a band_n of_o love_n among_o the_o member_n this_o effect_n be_v wrought_v by_o the_o head_n who_o bind_v all_o so_o sure_o together_o as_o be_v unspeakable_a nay_o no_o man_n can_v express_v that_o sure_a conjunction_n this_o band_n will_v make_v the_o force_n of_o the_o word_n import_v a_o compact_a conjunction_n there_o be_v never_o so_o compact_a a_o conjunction_n as_o this_o be_v thou_o shall_v never_o bind_v any_o thing_n so_o straight_o as_o the_o member_n of_o jesus_n be_v bind_v to_o the_o head_n and_o mutual_o together_o among_o themselves_o the_o word_n also_o signify_v a_o decent_a compact_n together_o so_o that_o there_o be_v no_o conjunction_n so_o well_o favour_v as_o this_o be_v therefore_o the_o apostle_n to_o the_o ephes_n 4._o 16._o use_v a_o word_n signify_v a_o harmony_n and_o comely_a situation_n of_o the_o part_n when_o thou_o see_v that_o body_n thou_o see_v a_o most_o pleasant_a situation_n to_o insist_v in_o this_o effect_n of_o knit_v this_o effect_n it_o go_v before_o the_o other_o first_o thing_n must_v be_v knit_v together_o and_o then_o come_v the_o furniture_n so_o mark_v this_o order_n if_o first_o there_o must_v be_v a_o compact_n and_o then_o the_o furniture_n i_o give_v thou_o a_o lesson_n look_v never_o to_o get_v grace_n except_o thou_o be_v conjoin_v in_o the_o body_n for_o then_o that_o spiritual_a grace_n shall_v flow_v to_o thou_o let_v not_o one_o that_o be_v not_o knit_v in_o the_o body_n seek_v for_o grace_n a_o loon_n will_v scorn_v when_o he_o be_v cut_v off_o from_o the_o body_n by_o excommunication_n well_o i_o say_v go_v &_o ride_v where_o he_o will_v he_o want_v the_o spiritual_a life_n of_o their_o particular_a grace_n then_o every_o one_o shall_v set_v their_o mind_n that_o for_o their_o part_n they_o may_v build_v up_o the_o body_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n this_o be_v the_o counsel_n of_o the_o apostle_n if_o thou_o carry_v not_o stone_n to_o build_v up_o the_o building_n thou_o shall_v never_o get_v to_o be_v of_o that_o building_n whereof_o the_o lord_n jesus_n be_v the_o head_n now_o last_o mark_v this_o of_o the_o order_n first_o there_o be_v the_o compact_n of_o the_o body_n with_o the_o head_n by_o band_n and_o joint_n second_o there_o be_v the_o furnish_n through_o also_o declare_v unto_o we_o your_o love_n which_o you_o have_v by_o the_o spirit_n 9_o for_o this_o cause_n we_o also_o since_o the_o day_n we_o hear_v of_o it_o cease_v not_o to_o pray_v for_o you_o and_o to_o desire_v that_o you_o may_v be_v fulfil_v with_o the_o knowledge_n of_o his_o will_n in_o all_o wisdom_n and_o spiritual_a understanding_n 10_o that_o you_o may_v walk_v worthy_a of_o the_o that_o move_v he_o to_o thank_v god_n for_o they_o be_v nothing_o in_o this_o world_n no_o no_o earthly_a grace_n or_o benefit_n but_o first_o their_o faith_n in_o jesus_n christ_n next_o their_o love_n to_o the_o saint_n he_o set_v down_o the_o cause_n of_o their_o faith_n and_o love_n they_o have_v a_o respect_n and_o to-looke_a to_o that_o everlasting_a life_n &_o glorious_a in_o heritance_n that_o be_v lay_v up_o for_o they_o and_o all_o that_o believe_v in_o jesus_n and_o keep_v to_o they_o with_o christ_n in_o god_n as_o the_o apostle_n speak_v teach_v we_o that_o except_o we_o have_v respect_n to_o another_o life_n and_o glory_n when_o this_o life_n be_v do_v it_o can_v be_v possible_a to_o cleave_v to_o christ_n and_o love_v his_o saint_n because_o there_o be_v so_o many_o impediment_n and_o temptation_n to_o draw_v we_o from_o he_o and_o from_o the_o love_n of_o the_o saint_n then_o he_o go_v forward_a and_o show_v by_o what_o mean_v they_o have_v this_o respect_n and_o to-looke_a to_o this_o life_n and_o glorious_a inheritance_n it_o breed_v not_o in_o their_o breast_n first_o but_o by_o hear_v and_o if_o thou_o hear_v not_o thou_o shall_v not_o understand_v that_o there_o be_v another_o life_n and_o what_o a_o hear_n &_o whereof_o of_o a_o word_n what_o word_n not_o of_o lie_n and_o vanity_n of_o the_o invention_n of_o man_n nay_o hear_v till_o the_o day_n of_o doom_n these_o vanity_n thou_o shall_v never_o get_v by_o it_o the_o hope_n of_o another_o life_n and_o of_o glory_n hereafter_o what_o a_o hear_n then_o be_v this_o the_o hear_n of_o the_o word_n of_o verity_n which_o he_o call_v the_o gospel_n of_o the_o bless_a god_n which_o for_o the_o excellency_n thereof_o for_o it_o excel_v all_o the_o word_n of_o the_o philosopher_n yea_o the_o law_n of_o moses_n itself_o it_o be_v call_v the_o word_n of_o truth_n then_o he_o recommend_v this_o gospel_n which_o they_o hear_v by_o the_o ministry_n of_o epaphras_n lest_o the_o person_n of_o the_o man_n shall_v make_v they_o to_o despise_v the_o doctrine_n as_o for_o the_o gospel_n which_o you_o have_v hear_v doubt_v not_o of_o it_o it_o be_v the_o true_a gospel_n and_o i_o shall_v give_v you_o a_o token_n confer_v it_o with_o the_o gospel_n that_o have_v pass_v through_o the_o world_n if_o it_o be_v the_o same_o gospel_n that_o have_v pass_v through_o the_o world_n let_v not_o the_o person_n of_o the_o minister_n scar_v you_o from_o receive_v it_o then_o he_o give_v another_o argument_n of_o this_o commendation_n of_o the_o gospel_n look_v if_o it_o fructifye_v in_o you_o and_o bring_v forth_o such_o fruit_n as_o sanctification_n humility_n charity_n and_o such_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n as_o it_o do_v in_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o world_n doubt_v not_o of_o it_o for_o it_o be_v the_o true_a gospel_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o therefore_o let_v not_o the_o person_n of_o the_o minister_n scar_v you_o then_o he_o come_v to_o the_o last_o argument_n whereat_o we_o leave_v you_o the_o last_o day_n and_o he_o call_v they_o to_o the_o remembrance_n of_o the_o sudden_a effectualnes_n of_o the_o gospel_n preach_v by_o epaphras_n among_o they_o of_o the_o continuance_n which_o it_o have_v with_o they_o and_o say_v from_o the_o day_n that_o you_o hear_v and_o true_o know_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n 6._o verse_n 6._o remember_v you_o not_o that_o the_o first_o day_n you_o hear_v of_o it_o it_o begin_v to_o fructify_v in_o you_o and_o ever_o since_o it_o fructify_v in_o you_o therefore_o if_o you_o will_v look_v to_o the_o suddenness_n of_o the_o effect_n and_o the_o continuance_n of_o it_o among_o you_o it_o argue_v plain_o that_o it_o be_v the_o truth_n of_o god_n upon_o this_o last_o argument_n learn_v this_o beside_o the_o fruit_n
that_o the_o gospel_n bring_v out_o in_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n in_o the_o circumstance_n of_o the_o time_n of_o the_o hasty_a work_n of_o the_o gospel_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n even_o in_o that_o same_o hour_n that_o man_n hear_v it_o first_o he_o find_v it_o so_o powerful_a in_o he_o and_o the_o continuance_n of_o it_o work_v still_o in_o he_o that_o it_o be_v a_o sure_a argument_n to_o he_o and_o a_o note_n not_o only_o of_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o gospel_n but_o also_o that_o it_o be_v the_o very_a truth_n of_o god_n if_o any_o have_v find_v this_o sincere_a work_n in_o his_o heart_n by_o the_o gospel_n this_o be_v a_o sure_a argument_n that_o it_o be_v the_o truth_n of_o god_n which_o you_o hear_v though_o all_o the_o world_n and_o the_o pope_n himself_o shall_v cry_v against_o it_o brief_o as_o in_o these_o word_n he_o commend_v the_o gospel_n so_o he_o commend_v the_o colossian_n because_o they_o receive_v it_o and_o continue_v in_o the_o same_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n when_o he_o give_v thou_o a_o grace_n he_o will_v fall_v out_o in_o commend_v of_o thou_o and_o this_o testify_v a_o wonderful_a love_n and_o mercy_n in_o god_n and_o of_o his_o like_n of_o they_o to_o who_o he_o give_v his_o grace_n he_o will_v give_v they_o such_o a_o praise_n as_o if_o they_o us._n god_n commend_v and_o crown_v his_o own_o grace_n in_o us._n be_v something_o and_o yet_o they_o be_v nothing_o this_o shall_v make_v we_o to_o meet_v he_o with_o thankfulness_n to_o praise_v he_o for_o something_o when_o he_o praise_v thou_o for_o nothing_o when_o he_o have_v do_v testify_v love_n true_a love_n of_o you_o and_o of_o your_o hearty_a love_n and_o he_o call_v it_o the_o love_n of_o the_o spirit_n thereby_o high_o commend_v their_o love_n because_o if_o love_n be_v true_a it_o must_v not_o only_o proceed_v of_o thy_o affection_n but_o it_o must_v proceed_v of_o the_o spirit_n of_o jesus_n thus_o for_o the_o word_n mark_v then_o when_o we_o see_v a_o man_n faithful_a in_o any_o call_n whether_o in_o the_o church_n or_o commonwealth_n this_o same_o recommendation_n observe_v observe_v that_o paul_n make_v of_o epaphras_n teach_v we_o to_o recommend_v that_o man_n that_o discharge_v a_o faithful_a duty_n according_a to_o the_o grace_n give_v he_o that_o they_o may_v have_v the_o better_a like_n of_o he_o i_o say_v he_o be_v a_o minister_n of_o satan_n that_o see_v a_o man_n faithful_a in_o any_o call_n go_v about_o to_o sever_v they_o and_o he_o to_o put_v a_o mislike_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o people_n to_o sever_v they_o who_o god_n have_v join_v together_o now_o to_o go_v to_o the_o next_o argument_n hitherto_o have_v you_o hear_v of_o the_o first_o argument_n touch_v thanksgiving_n the_o next_o follow_v in_o prayer_n therefore_o say_v he_o from_o the_o first_o day_n that_o i_o have_v hear_v of_o this_o grace_n incessant_o i_o pray_v to_o god_n for_o you_o mark_v first_o that_o same_o very_a grace_n of_o spiritual_a love_n and_o charity_n wherefore_o he_o thank_v god_n move_v he_o to_o pray_v to_o god_n for_o they_o then_o brethren_n in_o any_o grace_n whether_o it_o be_v faith_n or_o love_n or_o patience_n etc._n etc._n there_o be_v matter_n both_o of_o thanksgiving_n and_o prayer_n to_o god_n as_o thou_o be_v bind_v to_o thank_v god_n for_o the_o grace_n receive_v so_o thou_o be_v bind_v to_o pray_v for_o the_o same_o and_o god_n prayer_n to_o god_n the_o more_o grace_n we_o see_v in_o a_o man_n the_o great_a care_n ought_v we_o to_o have_v to_o pray_v to_o god_n to_o keep_v he_o in_o those_o grace_n but_o the_o time_n be_v to_o be_v consider_v even_o as_o soon_o as_o he_o hear_v of_o their_o faith_n and_o love_n he_o begin_v to_o pray_v and_o from_o that_o day_n to_o this_o day_n his_o prayer_n abide_v this_o teach_v first_o that_o after_o a_o man_n have_v receive_v a_o great_a grace_n from_o god_n he_o shall_v ever_o pray_v that_o that_o grace_n receive_v may_v abide_v with_o he_o and_o he_o with_o it_o according_a to_o the_o example_n of_o paul_n for_o such_o be_v the_o frailty_n of_o man_n nature_n that_o every_o moment_n he_o be_v ready_a to_o fall_v from_o grace_n except_o the_o lord_n hold_v he_o up_o again_o mark_v this_o when_o he_o will_v have_v the_o grace_n keep_v in_o the_o heart_n what_o mean_n use_v he_o prayer_n immediate_o he_o pray_v to_o god_n for_o they_o then_o in_o a_o word_n earnest_n and_o fervent_a prayer_n to_o god_n be_v the_o mean_n to_o get_v grace_n from_o he_o to_o keep_v it_o either_o in_o thy_o own_o heart_n or_o in_o other_o if_o thou_o will_v have_v any_o grace_n of_o god_n and_o have_v it_o abide_v with_o thou_o fructify_a in_o thy_o heart_n pray_v to_o god_n prayer_n prayer_n prayer_n be_v the_o only_a mean_a to_o effect_v and_o obtain_v of_o god_n whatsoever_o thou_o stand_v in_o need_n of_o and_o when_o thou_o have_v get_v any_o thing_n prayer_n be_v the_o mean_n to_o procure_v a_o blessing_n to_o the_o same_o that_o it_o abide_v with_o thou_o what_o pray_v he_o for_o to_o they_o it_o be_v no_o grace_n that_o they_o have_v get_v already_o wherefore_o then_o that_o you_o may_v be_v fill_v mark_v the_o word_n for_o there_o be_v exceed_o great_a pith_n in_o they_o and_o will_v to_o god_n we_o can_v attain_v to_o the_o force_n of_o they_o that_o you_o may_v be_v fill_v say_v he_o with_o grace_n as_o quietness_n they_o shall_v not_o be_v restless_a spirit_n nor_o full_a of_o variance_n and_o therefore_o thou_o that_o be_v a_o restless_a spirit_n in_o the_o church_n of_o god_n and_o yet_o say_v thou_o be_v of_o the_o church_n and_o will_v say_v thou_o believe_v i_o say_v to_o thou_o thou_o show_v plain_o thou_o have_v nought_o to_o do_v with_o the_o body_n and_o as_o i_o say_v before_o to_o do_v with_o christ_n nor_o his_o church_n plain_o that_o thou_o have_v not_o to_o do_v neither_o with_o the_o body_n nor_o with_o the_o head_n o_o murderer_n your_o heart_n be_v full_a of_o begin_v and_o beget_v faith_n and_o a_o good_a conscience_n but_o to_o hold_v man_n on_o in_o the_o same_o and_o to_o cause_v they_o to_o grow_v therein_o and_o yet_o this_o double_a commendation_n of_o they_o be_v amplify_v by_o these_o word_n in_o the_o text_n that_o these_o be_v they_o alone_o of_o the_o circumcision_n who_o help_v he_o in_o promote_a christ_n kingdom_n at_o rome_n and_o do_v much_o comfort_v he_o as_o before_o have_v be_v show_v and_o that_o word_n only_o will_v be_v mark_v because_o that_o from_o it_o we_o may_v probable_o conclude_v either_o that_o peter_n be_v never_o at_o rome_n at_o all_o or_o else_o that_o if_o he_o be_v there_o he_o be_v not_o so_o good_a and_o faithful_a a_o head_n to_o rome_n peter_n not_o at_o rome_n the_o church_n nor_o so_o comfortable_a a_o companion_n to_o his_o fellow_n apostle_n as_o the_o roman_a catholic_n do_v make_v he_o for_o if_o he_o be_v at_o any_o time_n at_o rome_n i_o will_v fain_o know_v what_o time_n we_o shall_v rather_o think_v he_o to_o have_v be_v at_o rome_n than_o a_o little_a before_o that_o time_n which_o they_o themselves_o assign_v to_o his_o passion_n or_o suffer_v there_o which_o in_o their_o own_o the_o selfsame_o year_n but_o it_o appear_v by_o this_o which_o be_v say_v here_o that_o peter_n be_v not_o then_o at_o rome_n when_o from_o thence_o he_o write_v this_o epistle_n and_o beside_o how_o can_v it_o be_v credible_a that_o if_o he_o have_v be_v then_o at_o rome_n he_o shall_v not_o have_v further_v paul_n in_o advaunce_v christ_n kingdom_n or_o shall_v not_o have_v yield_v he_o comfort_v in_o his_o band_n to_o say_v or_o think_v the_o first_o be_v at_o the_o least_o to_o make_v he_o a_o dissembler_n of_o his_o religion_n or_o a_o denier_n of_o christ_n as_o once_o he_o have_v do_v before_o but_o they_o hold_v that_o after_o he_o have_v receive_v the_o holy_a ghost_n he_o be_v free_v from_o all_o error_n special_o in_o faith_n though_o they_o forget_v his_o fall_n mention_v in_o the_o galathian_o &_o remember_v not_o that_o if_o that_o entitle_v he_o into_o not_o err_v the_o rest_n of_o the_o apostle_n have_v as_o great_a a_o privilege_n that_o way_n as_o he_o because_o they_o all_o equal_o receive_v the_o spirit_n and_o to_o affirm_v the_o other_o be_v to_o make_v he_o uncharitable_a and_o to_o note_v he_o to_o be_v a_o forsaker_n of_o the_o brethren_n and_o not_o a_o fellow_n sufferer_n with_o they_o in_o their_o band_n and_o affliction_n so_o that_o while_o they_o go_v about_o to_o bring_v he_o to_o rome_n they_o have_v spin_a a_o fair_a thread_n in_o that_o they_o pull_v upon_o he_o and_o by_o consequent_a upon_o themselves_o these_o inconvenience_n at_o the_o least_o but_o the_o truth_n be_v he_o be_v not_o there_o and_o for_o the_o further_o strongthen_v of_o we_o therein_o we_o be_v to_o be_v persuade_v that_o if_o he_o have_v be_v there_o the_o apostle_n who_o be_v so_o careful_a yea_o so_o curious_a as_o it_o be_v both_o in_o this_o and_o other_o epistle_n of_o his_o write_v from_o rome_n mention_v so_o many_o man_n of_o mean_a note_n in_o the_o church_n and_o the_o name_n of_o so_o many_o faithful_a teacher_n also_o as_o then_o be_v present_a with_o he_o there_o and_o yet_o make_v no_o mention_n at_o all_o of_o peter_n who_o yet_o notwithstanding_o in_o another_o place_n he_o call_v the_o pillar_n of_o the_o church_n galath_n 2._o vers_fw-la 9_o but_o to_o leave_v this_o and_o to_o proceed_v to_o another_o point_n in_o that_o the_o apostle_n be_v so_o careful_a to_o give_v charge_n and_o order_n touch_v mark_n and_o the_o receive_n of_o he_o we_o may_v see_v first_o that_o mark_n be_v a_o good_a man_n and_o so_o learn_v by_o that_o who_o shall_v be_v dear_a and_o precious_a unto_o we_o even_o the_o saint_n that_o be_v upon_o the_o affect_v who_o god_n people_n shall_v most_o affect_v earth_n as_o the_o prophet_n say_v psal_n 16._o and_o find_v in_o ourselves_o thereby_o the_o true_a note_n that_o we_o be_v sound_a member_n of_o the_o church_n militant_a and_o therefore_o shall_v be_v gather_v to_o the_o church_n triumphant_a in_o that_o a_o vile_a person_n be_v despise_v in_o our_o eye_n but_o we_o make_v much_o of_o they_o that_o fear_v the_o lord_n psal_n 15._o but_o the_o world_n be_v quite_o and_o clean_o contrary_a for_o it_o love_v she_o own_o and_o hate_v the_o godly_a so_o that_o we_o like_a diligence_n and_o care_n among_o such_o christian_n as_o dwell_v in_o diverse_a region_n and_o part_n of_o the_o world_n or_o among_o they_o that_o live_v in_o one_o and_o the_o selfsame_o kingdom_n country_n and_o church_n these_o vagrant_a man_n that_o so_o much_o run_v up_o and_o down_o from_o place_n to_o place_n and_o from_o country_n to_o country_n and_o travail_v so_o sore_o
and_o arm_v with_o the_o weapon_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n that_o be_v with_o faith_n and_o hope_n and_o other_o good_a grace_n express_v and_o plain_o put_v down_o ephes_n 6._o neither_o may_v we_o at_o any_o hand_n suffer_v our_o enemy_n to_o be_v more_o powerful_a in_o hinder_v our_o prayer_n than_o the_o might_n of_o the_o spirit_n to_o further_o they_o in_o us._n for_o the_o first_o of_o these_o be_v to_o give_v place_n unto_o satan_n and_o the_o latter_a be_v to_o quench_v and_o cool_v the_o spirit_n and_o both_o be_v evil_a and_o therefore_o we_o shall_v avoidthem_n but_o he_o add_v in_o the_o do_n of_o this_o duty_n always_o in_o sinuate_v thereby_o that_o as_o he_o do_v it_o often_o and_o earnest_o so_o we_o shall_v not_o do_v it_o for_o a_o time_n only_o as_o many_o do_v but_o that_o this_o combat_n and_o conflict_n of_o we_o in_o and_o about_o prayer_n must_v be_v perpetual_a and_o continual_a even_o as_o our_o prayer_n themselves_o ought_v so_o to_o be_v whereunto_o the_o better_a to_o be_v provoke_v we_o must_v remember_v these_o two_o thing_n first_o that_o whether_o we_o pray_v for_o ourselves_o or_o prayer_n two_o thing_n further_a persevevance_n in_o prayer_n for_o other_o we_o have_v daily_a need_n of_o some_o new_a benefit_n and_o increase_v of_o god_n grace_n in_o us._n second_o that_o we_o shall_v every_o moment_n and_o minute_n forgo_v the_o grace_n that_o we_o have_v receive_v from_o god_n except_o god_n who_o have_v give_v it_o we_o do_v preserve_v the_o same_o both_o in_o ourselves_o and_o in_o other_o to_o which_o we_o may_v add_v the_o three_o that_o we_o can_v never_o come_v to_o prayer_n but_o that_o satan_n our_o common_a adversary_n will_v set_v himself_o against_o we_o and_o do_v what_o he_o can_v to_o hinder_v our_o prayer_n and_o that_o therefore_o he_o be_v always_o opposite_a we_o shall_v always_o pray_v the_o next_o thing_n he_o tell_v we_o of_o in_o this_o service_n of_o prayer_n be_v the_o party_n for_o who_o we_o must_v pray_v for_o you_o true_a it_o be_v that_o we_o must_v pour_v forth_o prayer_n and_o strive_v in_o our_o supplication_n for_o all_o man_n according_a to_o which_o the_o apostle_n say_v 1._o two_o sort_n of_o perfection_n and_o satisfaction_n of_o christ_n which_o god_n impute_v unto_o we_o that_o through_o faith_n believe_v in_o christ_n and_o in_o which_o he_o do_v even_o think_v we_o as_o perfect_v as_o if_o we_o be_v altogether_o just_a and_o holy_a in_o ourselves_o the_o other_o be_v inherent_a in_o we_o when_o the_o holy_a ghost_n work_v in_o our_o mind_n the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o of_o his_o will_n and_o in_o our_o heart_n holiness_n and_o righteousness_n and_o whole_o purge_v we_o in_o the_o inward_a man_n from_o sin_n and_o natural_a corruption_n the_o first_o of_o these_o be_v whole_o and_o altogether_o perfect_a and_o that_o even_o in_o this_o life_n and_o indeed_o be_v the_o true_a cause_n of_o that_o perfection_n that_o be_v inherent_a in_o we_o which_o whole_o flow_v from_o or_o consist_v in_o our_o conjunction_n and_o fellowship_n with_o christ_n without_o which_o indeed_o there_o can_v be_v no_o perfection_n at_o all_o in_o us._n but_o as_o for_o that_o other_o namely_o that_o inherent_a perfection_n which_o be_v wrought_v in_o we_o by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n regenerate_v we_o it_o can_v be_v absolute_a and_o in_o every_o respect_n perfect_a in_o we_o in_o this_o life_n by_o reason_n of_o some_o darkness_n that_o we_o carry_v about_o with_o we_o in_o our_o mind_n for_o we_o know_v in_o part_n and_o prophesy_v in_o part_n as_o the_o apostle_n say_v 1._o cor._n 13._o 9_o and_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o remainder_n of_o sin_n and_o filthiness_n of_o corruption_n which_o shall_v never_o be_v utter_o and_o altogether_o abolish_v in_o we_o until_o that_o by_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n dwell_v full_o in_o we_o we_o be_v perfect_o free_v from_o impurity_n and_o all_o manner_n of_o pollution_n which_o shall_v be_v bring_v to_o pass_v in_o that_o other_o life_n that_o be_v to_o come_v when_o we_o shall_v be_v altogether_o present_a with_o the_o lord_n notwithstanding_o we_o must_v endeavour_n and_o strive_v continual_o that_o we_o may_v be_v comeful_o perfect_a and_o daily_o attain_v to_o great_a perfection_n christ_n so_o command_v we_o matth._n 5._o 48._o be_v you_o perfect_a for_o unless_o we_o daily_o proceed_v in_o perfection_n in_o this_o life_n we_o shall_v never_o have_v it_o altogether_o perfect_a and_o absolute_a in_o that_o which_o be_v to_o come_v and_o this_o indeed_o be_v it_o which_o the_o be_v nothing_o else_o but_o all_o that_o fulfil_n in_o all_o the_o will_n of_o god_n which_o he_o speak_v of_o here_o and_o in_o both_o place_n the_o apostle_n add_v a_o universal_a term_n he_o thereby_o declare_v that_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o for_o perfection_n and_o fill_v that_o in_o some_o one_o or_o sundry_a thing_n we_o study_v to_o please_v god_n but_o that_o it_o be_v necessary_a that_o in_o all_o thing_n we_o shall_v be_v conform_v god_n in_o all_o thing_n we_o must_v siudie_v to_o please_v god_n to_o his_o will_n which_o then_o be_v bring_v to_o pass_v when_o the_o eye_n of_o our_o mind_n be_v enlighten_v that_o we_o may_v both_o know_v and_o acknowledge_v he_o and_o his_o will_n and_o that_o our_o heart_n and_o all_o the_o affection_n thereof_o be_v sanctify_v unto_o his_o obedience_n and_o all_o our_o action_n both_o outward_a and_o inward_a be_v frame_v according_a to_o his_o law_n which_o be_v the_o most_o exact_a rule_n of_o righteousness_n religion_n and_o
