love_n and_o mercy_n as_o do_v as_o much_o exceed_v our_o imagination_n as_o it_o do_v our_o desert_n st._n paul_n have_v thus_o dispiay_v the_o excellent_a majesty_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o infinite_a riches_n of_o god_n free_a grace_n and_o mercy_n in_o that_o he_o send_v his_o eternal_a son_n to_o be_v the_o first_o preacher_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o tender_a salvation_n to_o lose_a and_o undo_v sinner_n he_o begin_v the_o 2d_o chapter_n with_o a_o serious_a and_o passionate_a admonition_n we_o therefore_o say_v he_o aught_o to_o give_v the_o more_o earnest_a heed_n to_o the_o thing_n which_o we_o have_v hear_v lest_o at_o any_o time_n we_o shall_v let_v they_o slip_v if_o god_n have_v convey_v the_o gospel_n to_o christian_n as_o he_o do_v the_o law_n unto_o the_o jew_n by_o the_o ministry_n of_o angel_n we_o can_v not_o have_v slight_v it_o without_o gross_a ingratitude_n and_o our_o disobedience_n as_o we_o be_v tell_v ver_fw-la 2._o will_v have_v receive_v a_o apostle_n be_v the_o more_o earnest_a and_o passionate_a in_o his_o exhortation_n he_o employ_v all_o his_o divine_a rhetoric_n to_o make_v christian_n sensible_a of_o their_o great_a privilege_n and_o consequent_o of_o their_o great_a obligation_n to_o obey_v the_o gospel_n how_o shall_v we_o escape_v if_o we_o neglect_v so_o great_a salvation_n have_v by_o this_o short_a preface_n lead_v you_o into_o the_o very_a bowel_n of_o the_o text_n i_o shall_v fetch_v from_o thence_o these_o three_o observation_n first_o that_o the_o salvation_n which_o be_v publish_v by_o the_o gospel_n be_v exceed_v great_a second_o that_o those_o christian_n which_o neglect_v this_o great_a salvation_n must_v expect_v the_o severe_a punishment_n in_o hell_n three_o that_o minister_n may_v very_o well_o of_o the_o price_n that_o be_v pay_v for_o it_o the_o worth_n and_o excellency_n of_o a_o thing_n be_v usual_o measure_v by_o the_o greatness_n of_o its_o price_n now_o how_o great_a be_v that_o price_n which_o be_v pay_v for_o this_o salvation_n st._n peter_n tell_v we_o we_o be_v not_o redeem_v with_o such_o corruptible_a thing_n as_o silver_n and_o gold_n but_o with_o the_o precious_a blood_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n have_v we_o offer_v a_o thousand_o ram_n and_o ten_o thousand_o river_n of_o oil_n have_v we_o give_v the_o fruit_n of_o our_o body_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o our_o soul_n yea_o have_v it_o be_v possible_a for_o we_o to_o have_v sacrifice_v whole_a hecatomb_n of_o angel_n to_o the_o justice_n of_o heaven_n they_o will_v not_o all_o have_v be_v sufficient_a to_o atone_v for_o our_o sin_n and_o purchase_v this_o salvation_n nothing_o can_v purchase_v it_o but_o the_o blood_n of_o jesus_n and_o that_o not_o only_o as_o he_o be_v man_n but_o as_o he_o be_v god_n too_o hence_o we_o be_v say_v express_o to_o be_v purchase_v with_o the_o blood_n of_o god_n act._n 20._o 28._o we_o see_v a_o infinite_a price_n be_v pay_v heaven_n to_o purchase_v this_o salvation_n
