similitude_n of_o manner_n link_v man_n 4_o together_o in_o good_a or_o evil_n phil._n 3._o 17._o look_v on_o they_o which_o walk_v so_o walk_v with_o the_o wise_a the_o sure_a band_n of_o society_n in_o the_o new_a creature_n be_v the_o similitude_n of_o manner_n and_o converse_v in_o the_o communion_n of_o saint_n where_o each_o one_o choose_v his_o companion_n for_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n he_o espy_v in_o he_o and_o from_o who_o he_o may_v hope_v to_o get_v good_a he_o never_o look_v to_o gather_v grape_n of_o thorn_n nor_o fig_n of_o thistle_n and_o therefore_o his_o delight_n be_v in_o the_o fellowship_n of_o saint_n in_o god_n house_n in_o their_o house_n in_o public_a duty_n of_o god_n worship_n in_o private_a duty_n of_o edification_n who_o will_v look_v for_o these_o new_a creature_n in_o tavern_n playhouse_n alehouse_n place_n of_o riotous_a meeting_n and_o hellish_a resort_n where_o ordinary_o be_v no_o mention_n of_o grace_n but_o to_o disgrace_v and_o wound_v it_o and_o all_o the_o friend_n of_o it_o follow_v the_o light_a side_n of_o the_o cloud_n and_o not_o the_o dark_a side_n of_o it_o five_o to_o demean_v ourselves_o as_o new_a creature_n we_o must_v live_v creature_n to_o the_o good_a of_o other_o no_o creature_n live_v for_o itself_o but_o for_o the_o whole_a the_o sun_n shine_v not_o for_o itself_o but_o for_o the_o world_n tree_n bear_v not_o church_n authority_n over_o the_o scripture_n be_v as_o if_o one_o shall_v send_v the_o sun_n to_o 4._o the_o moon_n for_o light_n therefore_o the_o voice_n of_o the_o church_n be_v not_o the_o formal_a object_n of_o faith_n 2._o the_o moon_n somewhat_o do_v resemble_v the_o sun_n in_o her_o light_n motion_n figure_n and_o influence_n and_o virtue_n over_o herb_n and_o plant_n etc._n etc._n sometime_o 2_o dark_a sometime_o light_a never_o look_v on_o inferior_a body_n with_o one_o face_n constant_a in_o nothing_o but_o inconstancy_n so_o the_o church_n on_o earth_n be_v oft_o change_v promise_v not_o to_o leave_v his_o church_n in_o this_o dangerous_a sea_n but_o to_o bring_v she_o to_o the_o haven_n safe_a saint_n ambrose_n follow_v this_o meditation_n thus_o the_o moon_n may_v
