god_n it_o shall_v be_v and_o so_o according_a to_o his_o will._n 3._o that_o it_o shall_v be_v ask_v in_o faith_n or_o upon_o a_o promise_n declare_v to_o we_o that_o will_v and_o determination_n of_o god_n now_o in_o these_o great_a point_n christ_n have_v take_v a_o certain_a care_n 1._o that_o there_o shall_v be_v prayer_n for_o those_o thing_n by_o give_v this_o prayer_n for_o they_o 2._o see_v he_o give_v this_o prayer_n by_o a_o infallible_a spirit_n know_v the_o mind_n of_o god_n it_o be_v certain_o square_v according_a to_o the_o will_n and_o promise_v of_o god_n as_o therefore_o this_o prayer_n be_v every_o way_n prepare_v for_o be_v hear_v so_o jesus_n christ_n most_o certain_o send_v out_o his_o spirit_n to_o all_o his_o servanr_n to_o give_v faith_n and_o to_o move_v holy_a desire_n according_a to_o this_o prayer_n that_o god_n may_v be_v cry_v to_o day_n and_o night_n agreeable_o with_o it_o and_o when_o his_o saint_n may_v be_v short_a in_o either_o the_o understanding_n it_o or_o in_o the_o faith_n or_o desire_v that_o it_o shall_v be_v pray_v with_o the_o spirit_n make_v intercession_n according_a to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n with_o groan_n that_o can_v be_v utter_v wherein_o god_n understand_v the_o mind_n of_o his_o spirit_n because_o it_o make_v intercession_n according_a to_o his_o will_n so_o this_o prayer_n must_v be_v a_o certain_a prediction_n that_o all_o these_o thing_n shall_v be_v so_o for_o god_n can_v fail_v of_o his_o will_n and_o promise_n christ_n can_v fail_v of_o have_v teach_v to_o pray_v according_a to_o this_o will_n and_o promise_v of_o god_n nor_o can_v christ_n fail_v to_o give_v his_o spirit_n to_o his_o servant_n to_o excite_v they_o to_o faith_n and_o holy_a desire_n according_a to_o this_o prayer_n from_o all_o which_o it_o contestable_o follow_v that_o this_o prayer_n must_v be_v a_o certain_a prediction_n that_o the_o will_n of_o god_n shall_v be_v do_v on_o earth_n as_o it_o be_v in_o heaven_n and_o the_o whole_a concatenation_n of_o thing_n be_v according_a to_o it_o and_o therefore_o that_o the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n must_v come_v on_o earth_n as_o it_o be_v in_o heaven_n so_o that_o this_o prayer_n must_v be_v a_o prayer_n for_o the_o glorious_a appearance_n of_o christ_n kingdom_n according_a to_o the_o high_a elevation_n of_o the_o sense_n of_o the_o prayer_n and_o so_o the_o prayer_n to_o be_v expound_v as_o the_o prayer_n of_o the_o kingdom_n for_o what_o be_v more_o visible_a than_o that_o this_o have_v not_o yet_o be_v nor_o be_v like_a to_o be_v in_o the_o present_a state_n upon_o earth_n but_o even_o to_o horror_n and_o amazement_n the_o contrary_a have_v be_v ever_o since_o the_o general_a profession_n of_o christianity_n by_o nation_n and_o in_o all_o the_o prospect_n we_o can_v have_v of_o thing_n human_o speak_v it_o will_v continue_v so_o there_o must_v be_v therefore_o a_o peculiar_a state_n create_v for_o the_o answer_n of_o this_o petition_n and_o what_o can_v that_o be_v but_o that_o new_a earth_n according_a to_o promise_n wherein_o righteousness_n shall_v dwell_v even_o at_o and_o in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n and_o so_o this_o prayer_n must_v be_v the_o prayer_n of_o the_o kingdom_n inquire_v of_o god_n for_o the_o accomplishment_n of_o that_o promise_n i_o can_v therefore_o by_o no_o mean_n allow_v the_o abatement_n of_o the_o force_n of_o this_o petition_n upon_o a_o compare_n of_o it_o with_o such_o expression_n be_v you_o holy_a as_o i_o be_o holy_a be_v you_o perfect_a as_o your_o father_n in_o heaven_n be_v perfect_a or_o by_o compare_v it_o with_o the_o apostle_n vehement_a emotion_n of_o forget_v thing_n that_o be_v behind_o and_o press_v forward_o for_o the_o mark_n of_o the_o price_n we_o shall_v so_o expound_v it_o now_o to_o interpret_v these_o expression_n either_o as_o gracious_a desire_n though_o not_o answer_v in_o this_o world_n or_o as_o set_v up_o to_o ourselves_o the_o high_a and_o most_o perfect_a mark_n to_o shoot_n at_o though_o we_o can_v reach_v it_o in_o this_o world_n or_o that_o such_o expression_n of_o be_v holy_a and_o perfect_a as_o god_n be_v show_v that_o excellent_a kind_a and_o alloy_n of_o holiness_n though_o we_o can_v rise_v up_o to_o the_o perfection_n of_o degree_n and_o then_o to_o suppose_v this_o sense_n to_o be_v all_o the_o sense_n of_o this_o petition_n and_o that_o it_o can_v be_v full_o and_o complete_o answer_v till_o we_o come_v to_o heaven_n this_o explication_n i_o affirm_v can_v agree_v 1._o because_o all_o these_o gracious_a both_o endeavour_n and_o design_n have_v a_o time_n and_o and_o a_o state_n of_o come_v to_o their_o compliment_n and_o perfection_n even_o to_o a_o perfection_n of_o degree_n so_o far_o as_o create_v nature_n be_v capable_a of_o such_o a_o perfection_n and_o therefore_o neither_o those_o command_v nor_o desire_n be_v in_o vain_a though_o they_o do_v not_o obtain_v their_o desire_a effect_n in_o this_o state_n because_o there_o be_v a_o state_n on_o purpose_n for_o that_o perfection_n but_o for_o the_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n on_o earth_n as_o it_o be_v in_o heaven_n that_o can_v never_o come_v to_o its_o perfection_n except_o there_o be_v a_o state_n on_o some_o very_a earth_n where_o it_o may_v come_v into_o its_o perfection_n for_o there_o be_v so_o direct_a and_o perpendicular_a a_o fix_v the_o petition_n upon_o some_o earth_n that_o it_o must_v come_v to_o its_o perfection_n on_o such_o earth_n or_o not_o at_o all_o see_v then_o there_o be_v such_o promise_n to_o the_o earth_n that_o knowledge_n shall_v cover_v it_o as_o the_o water_n do_v the_o sea_n that_o righteousness_n shall_v dwell_v in_o it_o that_o the_o sinner_n shall_v be_v consume_v out_o of_o heaven_n there_o can_v be_v a_o perfect_a of_o what_o be_v proper_a to_o the_o holy_a state_n of_o earth_n but_o it_o must_v be_v on_o earth_n for_o else_o there_o must_v be_v a_o confound_a heaven_n and_o earth_n 2._o it_o be_v due_o to_o be_v observe_v and_o it_o be_v very_o plain_a it_o be_v so_o that_o heaven_n and_o earth_n be_v parallel_v as_o two_o place_n one_o where_o the_o will_n of_o god_n and_o for_o the_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n as_o in_o heaven_n and_o on_o earth_n as_o be_v further_a to_o be_v make_v out_o in_o the_o explain_v that_o petition_n and_o it_o do_v assure_v we_o the_o intention_n of_o the_o petition_n be_v not_o that_o there_o may_v be_v only_o such_o a_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n as_o be_v before_o jesus_n christ_n come_v in_o the_o flesh_n and_o since_o christ_n come_v universal_a among_o the_o saint_n viz._n with_o that_o sincerity_n and_o in_o that_o do_v it_o that_o be_v of_o the_o same_o kind_n with_o that_o in_o heaven_n such_o indeed_o the_o will_n of_o god_n can_v never_o arise_v to_o any_o perfection_n see_v it_o have_v not_o do_v it_o in_o 1600_o year_n and_o we_o can_v have_v no_o reason_n except_o such_o a_o kingdom_n come_v to_o expect_v it_o in_o 1600_o or_o 16000_o more_o if_o time_n can_v so_o long_o continue_v all_o which_o make_v it_o beyond_o all_o doubt_n that_o this_o petition_n can_v never_o be_v fulfil_v but_o by_o such_o a_o kingdom_n as_o shall_v bring_v heaven_n and_o earth_n to_o such_o a_o parallel_n and_o therefore_o as_o shall_v be_v show_v in_o the_o explain_v the_o petition_n itself_o the_o some_o degree_n or_o likeness_n of_o kind_a in_o regard_n of_o sincerity_n and_o further_o it_o be_v most_o evident_a upon_o a_o new_a argument_n there_o be_v a_o parallel_n betwixt_o the_o heaven_n and_o the_o earth_n in_o this_o prayer_n it_o be_v not_o say_v therefore_o on_o earth_n as_o in_o heaven_n but_o as_o in_o heaven_n and_o upon_o earth_n but_o such_o a_o parallel_n can_v be_v in_o earth_n the_o glory_n of_o god_n in_o the_o holiness_n of_o his_o name_n must_v shine_v as_o in_o heaven_n and_o upon_o earth_n that_o be_v from_o the_o new_a heaven_n upon_o the_o new_a earth_n i_o come_v now_o to_o the_o second_o petition_n thy_o kingdom_n come_v and_o whether_o it_o be_v take_v in_o the_o strict_a sense_n of_o the_o word_n or_o in_o the_o connexion_n with_o the_o petition_n before_o and_o after_o it_o it_o will_v be_v every_o way_n evince_v that_o this_o prayer_n must_v be_v the_o prayer_n of_o the_o kingdom_n for_o when_o we_o pray_v that_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n may_v come_v what_o kingdom_n can_v it_o be_v that_o shall_v come_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n universal_a power_n and_o dominion_n can_v be_v pray_v for_o that_o it_o shall_v because_o it_o be_v always_o it_o have_v be_v always_o and_o it_o can_v but_o be_v for_o ever_o the_o kingdom_n of_o the_o gospel_n it_o may_v be_v till_o the_o universal_a preach_v of_o it_o by_o the_o apostle_n and_o first_o minister_n of_o the_o new_a testament_n but_o then_o the_o come_v of_o it_o be_v accomplish_v except_o as_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o more_o full_a and_o glorious_a come_v at_o the_o more_o universal_a preach_v of_o it_o as_o this_o prayer_n must_v needs_o import_v or_o else_o to_o pray_v that_o the_o kingdom_n may_v come_v as_o it_o be_v the_o kingdom_n of_o the_o gospel_n must_v be_v as_o to_o pray_v that_o messiah_n may_v come_v who_o be_v already_o come_v and_o that_o will_v be_v a_o secret_a denial_n that_o christ_n be_v come_v in_o the_o flesh_n and_o that_o this_o be_v the_o true_a gospel_n or_o grace_n of_o god_n wherein_o we_o stand_v if_o therefore_o it_o be_v the_o kingdom_n of_o the_o gospel_n that_o be_v as_o it_o be_v indeed_o here_o to_o be_v understand_v it_o must_v needs_o be_v that_o as_o the_o messiah_n be_v to_o have_v a_o universal_a glorious_a kingdom_n so_o there_o shall_v be_v yet_o a_o much_o more_o universal_a and_o effectual_a preach_v of_o the_o gospel_n even_o the_o everlasting_a gospel_n declare_v and_o introduce_v that_o kingdom_n there_o be_v i_o acknowledge_v yet_o remain_v a_o kingdom_n of_o glory_n in_o eternity_n introduce_v by_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n according_a to_o the_o general_n notion_n that_o may_v be_v intend_v in_o this_o prayer_n and_o though_o this_o kingdom_n can_v not_o proper_o be_v say_v to_o come_v in_o regard_n of_o place_n see_v it_o be_v to_o be_v in_o the_o high_a heaven_n where_o it_o already_o be_v yet_o that_o the_o time_n of_o it_o may_v come_v may_v be_v pray_v and_o that_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n the_o will_n of_o god_n may_v in_o degree_n and_o in_o sincerity_n be_v do_v on_o earth_n as_o in_o heaven_n but_o because_o as_o have_v be_v already_o and_o shall_v still_o be_v argue_v there_o be_v a_o glorious_a kingdom_n before_o that_o and_o that_o stand_v in_o a_o parallel_n betwixt_o the_o new_a heaven_n and_o the_o new_a earth_n and_o that_o prepare_v for_o and_o issue_n into_o that_o great_a kingdom_n of_o eternity_n and_o be_v indeed_o one_o with_o it_o in_o all_o substantial_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v most_o direct_o in_o the_o eye_n of_o this_o prayer_n which_o reach_v the_o high_a sense_n that_o the_o word_n can_v possible_o be_v suppose_v to_o contain_v see_v then_o the_o gospel_n in_o the_o universal_a preach_n in_o that_o it_o be_v to_o bring_v forth_o the_o great_a and_o most_o illustrious_a kingdom_n of_o god_n and_o of_o christ_n be_v call_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n and_o that_o our_o lord_n continual_o call_v it_o so_o in_o that_o time_n of_o his_o ministry_n wherein_o he_o give_v this_o prayer_n and_o wherein_o he_o teach_v to_o pray_v thy_o kingdom_n come_v this_o kingdom_n must_v needs_o be_v understand_v to_o be_v the_o high_a state_n of_o the_o gospel_n most_o universal_o and_o most_o efficacious_o preach_v so_o that_o it_o shall_v indeed_o most_o conspicuous_o and_o illustrious_o bring_v forth_o that_o kingdom_n in_o its_o glory_n and_o that_o be_v the_o kingdom_n here_o pray_v for_o and_o it_o be_v a_o kingdom_n that_o shall_v never_o end_v and_o therefore_o be_v one_o kingdom_n with_o the_o eternal_a kingdom_n of_o god_n into_o which_o it_o be_v deliver_v up_o from_o all_o which_o it_o follow_v the_o preach_v of_o the_o gospel_n be_v not_o that_o kingdom_n in_o the_o mere_a administration_n or_o preach_v of_o it_o but_o as_o it_o be_v to_o produce_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n and_o of_o christ_n in_o its_o glory_n for_o christ_n leave_v the_o gospel_n in_o preach_v when_o he_o go_v into_o a_o far_a country_n to_o receive_v a_o kingdom_n and_o to_o return_v with_o it_o when_o that_o gospel_n shall_v have_v its_o full_a effect_n and_o he_o show_v that_o though_o the_o preach_a of_o the_o gospel_n do_v immediate_o appear_v yet_o the_o kingdom_n do_v not_o immediate_o appear_v there_o be_v a_o dawn_n of_o it_o in_o that_o preach_a which_o be_v therefore_o in_o a_o general_n way_n call_v the_o
