man_n as_o it_o be_v unto_o judas_n or_o else_o by_o the_o help_n of_o other_o holy_a book_n which_o have_v be_v pen_v by_o such_o as_o have_v be_v spiritual_a indeed_o objection_n objection_n to_o what_o end_n then_o may_z some_z say_v shall_v carnal_a person_n read_v the_o word_n see_v they_o can_v interpret_v or_o understand_v it_o answ_n answ_n yes_o it_o be_v necessary_a for_o every_o man_n of_o that_o which_o thou_o must_v labour_v for_o use_v use_v last_o this_o teach_v that_o we_o must_v give_v no_o further_o credit_v to_o the_o gloss_n and_o interpretation_n of_o counsel_n and_o father_n than_o we_o find_v they_o agreeable_a to_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o scripture_n no_o man_n though_o never_o so_o learned_a can_v interpret_v scripture_n further_o than_o he_o be_v assist_v by_o the_o spirit_n and_o that_o assistance_n which_o the_o spirit_n give_v be_v light_n from_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o canonical_a scripture_n therefore_o as_o any_o be_v able_a to_o confirm_v their_o interpretation_n by_o scripture_n so_o far_o we_o be_v to_o give_v credit_n unto_o they_o and_o no_o further_o know_v this_o first_o whence_o note_n that_o doctrine_n doctrine_n none_o ought_v to_o be_v ignorant_a of_o this_o truth_n to_o wit_n that_o no_o scripture_n be_v of_o private_a interpretation_n yea_o every_o one_o ought_v to_o know_v this_o in_o the_o first_o place_n or_o as_o a_o thing_n most_o necessary_a to_o be_v know_v reason_n reason_n and_o why_o first_o because_o it_o be_v a_o fundamental_a point_n what_o point_n be_v there_o of_o great_a consequence_n in_o divinity_n than_o this_o concern_v the_o interpretation_n of_o scripture_n now_o we_o must_v not_o be_v ignorant_a of_o fundamental_a point_n hebr._n 5.12_o second_o because_o if_o we_o be_v ignorant_a of_o this_o truth_n we_o may_v easy_o be_v deceive_v by_o papist_n and_o other_o which_o will_v be_v ready_a to_o obtrude_v upon_o we_o the_o private_a interpretation_n of_o the_o pope_n and_o popish_a counsel_n i_o call_v their_o interpretation_n private_a because_o they_o come_v from_o their_o own_o brain_n and_o invention_n without_o warrant_n from_o the_o word_n of_o god_n three_o we_o must_v not_o be_v ignorant_a of_o this_o because_o it_o be_v write_v aforetime_o and_o whatsoever_o be_v write_v aforetime_o it_o be_v write_v for_o our_o instruction_n as_o the_o apostle_n speak_v rom._n believe_v not_o every_o interpretation_n but_o first_o try_v it_o by_o the_o scripture_n whether_o it_o be_v sound_a or_o no._n second_o if_o we_o depend_v not_o upon_o the_o person_n or_o gift_n of_o
