be_v their_o conclusion_n hereupon_o this_o authority_n therefore_o can_v be_v grant_v unto_o any_o civil_a christian_a magistrate_n 118_o that_o without_o consent_n of_o the_o learned_a pastor_n and_o elder_n yea_o against_o their_o consent_n of_o who_o as_o in_o some_o respect_n he_o be_v a_o feel_a member_n he_o may_v lawful_o make_v caeremoniall_a constitution_n whereby_o the_o church_n must_v be_v govern_v in_o mere_a ecclesiastical_a matter_n bridge_n be_v there_o no_o mean_a but_o the_o drift_n of_o this_o conclusion_n must_v needs_o he_o direct_v against_o the_o civil_a it_o be_v absurd_a that_o they_o that_o be_v teacher_n and_o preacher_n shall_v be_v teach_v by_o such_o in_o these_o small_a thing_n and_o it_o be_v much_o more_o absurd_a in_o great_a thing_n as_o ought_v to_o hear_v and_o learn_v the_o truth_n of_o they_o in_o all_o matter_n loe_o how_o these_o big_a and_o lofty_a word_n have_v utterlie_o blank_v and_o give_v check_n mate_n to_o these_o our_o govern_v elder_n that_o we_o not_o teacher_n and_o preacher_n but_o whu_v we_o pray_v you_o no_o more_o of_o this_o for_o we_o mean_v not_o this_o against_o our_o govern_v elder_n though_o they_o be_v even_o of_o the_o apparent_a reprobate_n say_v saint_n paul_n hebrew_n 6._o vers_fw-la 4._o for_o it_o be_v impossible_a that_o they_o which_o be_v once_o lightten_v and_o have_v taste_v of_o the_o heaveâ—lye_a gift_n and_o be_v make_v partaker_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o have_v taste_v of_o the_o good_a word_n of_o god_n and_o of_o the_o power_n of_o the_o world_n to_o come_v if_o they_o shall_v fall_v away_o shall_v be_v renew_v again_o by_o repentance_n see_v that_o they_o crucify_v again_o to_o themselves_o the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o make_v a_o mock_n of_o he_o so_o then_o understand_v these_o word_n for_o the_o elect_a of_o god_n so_o far_o as_o man_n can_v gather_v by_o outward_a token_n grace_n yet_o may_v the_o elect_a depart_n from_o grace_n though_o not_o whole_o follow_v nevertheless_o i_o have_v somewhat_o against_o thou_o because_o thou_o have_v leave_v thy_o first_o love_n remember_v therefore_o from_o whence_o thou_o be_v fall_v &_o repent_v &_o do_v that_o we_o may_v not_o depart_v from_o grace_n by_o fall_v into_o any_o such_o grievous_a &_o notorious_a sin_n yet_o much_o more_o that_o we_o fall_v not_o into_o that_o presumptuous_a sin_n that_o god_n have_v vouchsafe_v we_o good_a token_n beside_o the_o pledge_n of_o his_o spirit_n certifieng_v our_o spirit_n that_o we_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o if_o son_n heir_n etc._n etc._n yet_o except_o the_o spirit_n help_v our_o infirmity_n we_o shall_v quick_o fall_v into_o great_a temptation_n and_o enormity_n and_o therefore_o we_o be_v will_v for_o our_o part_n to_o work_v our_o say_v and_o such_o like_a matter_n though_o we_o have_v clear_v ourselves_o sufficient_o herein_o and_o be_v by_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n ready_a to_o enter_v either_o into_o the_o apology_n of_o ourselves_o or_o to_o make_v the_o acknowledgement_n of_o all_o those_o diverse_a error_n and_o disclaim_v they_o when_o they_o shall_v be_v specify_v and_o so_o prove_v yet_o be_v not_o this_o well_o do_v of_o our_o brother_n to_o burden_n we_o with_o any_o especial_o with_o gross_a and_o palpable_a error_n and_o those_o diverse_a and_o not_o so_o much_o as_o name_v they_o that_o we_o may_v see_v they_o and_o forsake_v they_o for_o this_o leave_v in_o the_o reader_n mind_n a_o shrewd_a suspicion_n of_o further_a error_n in_o these_o article_n but_o we_o crave_v in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n
