you_o sometime_o call_v the_o light_n christ_n the_o law_n of_o the_o new_a covenant_n the_o counsel_n of_o god_n in_o the_o secret_a of_o the_o soul_n that_o spirit_n of_o christ_n which_o convince_v the_o world_n of_o sin_n and_o christ_n the_o light_n of_o the_o gentile_n all_o which_o as_o you_o apply_v they_o to_o every_o man_n in_o the_o world_n have_v be_v confute_v and_o be_v most_o pernicious_a error_n which_o the_o scripture_n oppose_v second_o hence_o you_o persuade_v all_o man_n to_o cease_v from_o all_o outward_a mean_n of_o light_n and_o only_o attend_v upon_o the_o light_n within_o and_o to_o wave_v all_o outward_a worship_n in_o holy_a observance_n according_a to_o scripture_n and_o only_o obey_v the_o command_n of_o the_o light_n and_o command_v of_o christ_n within_o and_o the_o ordinance_n of_o holy_a worship_n which_o have_v their_o institution_n and_o foundation_n from_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n speak_v and_o move_v what_o they_o write_v these_o thing_n you_o say_v be_v but_o the_o letter_n and_o tradition_n of_o man_n as_o in_o the_o latter_a end_n of_o your_o answer_n to_o this_o four_o question_n beside_o your_o frequent_a reproach_v these_o thing_n in_o most_o of_o your_o paper_n that_o fly_v abroad_o i_o have_v make_v some_o discovery_n already_o and_o what_o mean_v all_o this_o but_o that_o you_o judge_v the_o light_n of_o christ_n to_o all_o be_v sufficient_a alone_a to_o life_n eternal_a three_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o you_o have_v fancy_v a_o more_o spiritual_a christ_n than_o christ_n that_o be_v make_v flesh_n by_o incarnation_n who_o be_v true_o god_n and_o true_o man_n in_o one_o person_n and_o offer_v himself_o a_o sacrifice_n to_o god_n to_o reconcile_v sinner_n to_o god_n and_o preach_v peace_n to_o they_o that_o be_v near_o and_o afar_o off_o etc._n etc._n because_o this_o christ_n this_o person_n this_o sacrifice_n and_o the_o end_n thereof_o be_v not_o know_v nor_o hear_v of_o to_o all_o in_o the_o world_n so_o that_o rather_o than_o you_o will_v put_v a_o limit_n to_o this_o text_n joh._n 1.9_o which_o mere_o the_o strength_n of_o fancy_n have_v take_v up_o you_o will_v invent_v another_o christ_n that_o will_v make_v the_o text_n hold_v to_o every_o man_n and_o that_o be_v no_o other_o than_o the_o rational_a soul_n of_o man_n corrupt_v which_o indeed_o be_v call_v the_o candle_n of_o the_o lord_n but_o no_o where_o call_v the_o lord_n christ_n in_o who_o we_o have_v redemption_n through_o his_o blood_n etc._n etc._n four_o hence_o you_o have_v fancy_v a_o universal_a free_a grace_n of_o god_n to_o all_o man_n in_o the_o world_n equal_o alike_o and_o a_o new_a covenant_n to_o all_o man_n in_o the_o world_n and_o this_o light_n be_v that_o grace_n of_o god_n and_o the_o blessing_n promise_v in_o the_o new_a covenant_n heb._n 8_o and_o these_o universall_n can_v be_v without_o the_o other_o of_o universal_a redemption_n though_o they_o say_v little_a of_o it_o because_o that_o christ_n they_o have_v in_o their_o fancy_n be_v not_o capable_a of_o shed_v blood_n for_o any_o such_o end_n and_o why_o not_o a_o universal_a salvation_n as_o well_o inasmuch_o the_o one_o as_o the_o other_o but_o that_o man_n will_v not_o besaved_a notwithstanding_o they_o be_v redeem_v and_o renew_v with_o save_v grace_n by_o virtue_n of_o redemption_n and_o the_o new_a covenant_n but_o do_v you_o think_v that_o this_o be_v all_o which_o the_o scripture_n teach_v as_o touch_v redemption_n by_o christ_n the_o free_a love_n and_o grace_n of_o god_n bestow_v on_o man_n as_o they_o be_v blessing_n of_o the_o new_a and_o everlasting_a covenant_n which_o stand_v in_o remission_n of_o sin_n and_o in_o the_o give_n of_o his_o spirit_n to_o renew_v and_o sanctify_v and_o soften_v the_o carnal_a old_a hard_a and_o rebellious_a heart_n of_o man_n i_o say_v do_v all_o the_o mercy_n and_o grace_n of_o god_n through_o christ_n amount_v to_o no_o more_o than_o so_o as_o to_o depend_v upon_o the_o will_n of_o man_n resist_v or_o not_o improve_n what_o god_n intend_v to_o their_o eternal_a happiness_n if_o all_o man_n have_v new_a heart_n and_o the_o spirit_n and_o pardon_v of_o sin_n by_o virtue_n of_o the_o new_a covenant_n what_o can_v hinder_v the_o salvation_n of_o all_o or_o what_o be_v it_o that_o make_v this_o great_a difference_n between_o one_o man_n and_o another_o if_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n according_a to_o the_o new_a covenant_n make_v all_o equal_a at_o first_o what_o be_v it_o or_o who_o have_v make_v thou_o to_o differ_v from_o another_o man_n i_o pray_v you_o answer_v in_o who_o do_v the_o election_n obtain_v it_o for_o that_o some_o believe_v and_o other_o not_o you_o talk_v of_o the_o child_n of_o light_n unto_o who_o say_v be_v only_a give_v but_o why_o shall_v you_o make_v any_o restriction_n among_o man_n if_o all_o have_v christ_n in_o they_o and_o have_v the_o law_n of_o the_o new_a covenant_n write_v in_o their_o heart_n as_o a_o blessing_n thereof_o what_o shall_v hinder_v the_o salvation_n of_o all_o that_o have_v this_o supernatural_a grace_n will_v the_o lord_n condemn_v any_o that_o have_v the_o light_n and_o life_n of_o real_a
