order_n of_o spiritual_a act_n but_o one_o while_o he_o think_v on_o sin_n and_o another_o while_n on_o mercy_n when_o on_o his_o sin_n then_o with_o great_a fear_n and_o when_o on_o mercy_n then_o with_o great_a doubt_n that_o he_o shall_v repent_v he_o know_v that_o he_o may_v present_o believe_v he_o question_n and_o to_o speak_v plain_o he_o can_v neither_o well_o repent_v nor_o yet_o well_o both_o in_o the_o old_a and_o new_a testament_n 2_o chron_n 7._o 14._o isa_n 1._o 16._o isa_n 55._o 7._o ezek._n 18._o 21._o and_o luke_n 24._o 47._o act._n 2._o 38._o act._n 3._o 19_o and_o true_o it_o will_v be_v no_o easy_a work_n to_o clear_v out_o that_o a_o man_n can_v or_o may_v believe_v that_o god_n according_a to_o promise_v will_v forgive_v he_o his_o sin_n though_o very_o great_a while_o he_o yet_o remain_v impenitent_a three_o as_o to_o the_o order_n of_o practice_n i_o will_v prescribe_v both_o of_o they_o to_o be_v first_o the_o sinner_n shall_v repent_v first_o and_o the_o sinner_n shall_v believe_v first_o and_o that_o he_o may_v do_v both_o first_o he_o shall_v pray_v for_o both_o first_o a_o believe_a repentance_n and_o a_o repent_v faith_n such_o a_o repentance_n which_o be_v accompany_v with_o faith_n and_o such_o a_o faith_n as_o accompany_v with_o repentance_n and_o very_o in_o this_o case_n if_o the_o faith_n be_v right_a it_o be_v not_o without_o repentance_n and_o if_o the_o repentance_n be_v right_a it_o be_v not_o without_o faith_n you_o can_v right_o repent_v unless_o you_o have_v faith_n to_o see_v some_o mercy_n neither_o can_v you_o confident_o believe_v unless_o there_o be_v some_o repentance_n i_o beseech_v you_o while_o other_o be_v a_o dispute_v which_o of_o these_o shall_v appear_v first_o do_v you_o earnest_o and_o a_o forsake_v manner_n deny_v unto_o he_o the_o presence_n and_o power_n of_o his_o spirit_n to_o raise_v he_o out_o of_o the_o depth_n of_o his_o sin_n and_o misery_n into_o which_o he_o have_v plunge_v himself_o 2._o god_n seldom_o leave_v a_o sinner_n thus_o but_o where_o the_o sinner_n have_v presume_v to_o commit_v some_o great_a transgression_n against_o some_o special_a act_n of_o abhorring_n of_o himself_o and_o some_o desire_n after_o a_o spirit_n of_o mourning_n and_o believe_v second_o this_o sinner_n shall_v acknowledge_v it_o as_o a_o great_a and_o righteous_a judgement_n of_o god_n upon_o he_o for_o his_o sin_v and_o that_o the_o lord_n may_v for_o ever_o withdraw_v from_o he_o acknowledge_v it_o a_o righteous_a judgement_n of_o god_n upon_o he_o he_o and_o utter_o truth_n and_o to_o be_v well_o ground_v in_o the_o truth_n o_o but_o it_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n who_o lead_v we_o into_o all_o truth_n six_o nay_o you_o be_v if_o your_o conscience_n shall_v be_v awaken_v expose_v to_o fear_n expose_v to_o dreadful_a fear_n dreadful_a fear_n and_o trouble_n and_o despair_n for_o the_o sense_n of_o your_o great_a transgression_n and_o of_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n for_o they_o and_o in_o this_o case_n you_o will_v not_o be_v able_a to_o find_v any_o comfort_n or_o at_o least_o you_o will_v not_o be_v able_a to_o apply_v it_o unto_o yourselves_o for_o only_o the_o spirit_n be_v the_o comforter_n though_o you_o may_v read_v much_o in_o christ_n and_o much_o in_o the_o promise_n and_o much_o in_o god_n apt_a to_o give_v comfort_n yet_o nothing_o in_o any_o of_o these_o can_v be_v your_o actual_a comfort_n unless_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n make_v it_o to_o be_v so_o unto_o you_o seven_o take_v you_o at_o the_o best_a can_v be_v but_o formal_a christian_n christian_n in_o christian_n be_v but_o formal_a christian_n show_n if_o you_o have_v not_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n for_o it_o be_v the_o spirit_n put_v within_o we_o which_o make_v we_o christian_n indeed_o when_o the_o spirit_n make_v our_o heart_n his_o temple_n reform_v renew_v enlivens_fw-la u_fw-mi with_o his_o grace_n then_o be_v we_o christian_n indeed_o other_o to_o gather_v up_o some_o good_a expression_n and_o fragment_n and_o â—utter_v they_o as_o if_o they_o do_v pray_v second_o by_o way_n of_o negation_n notwithstanding_o those_o three_o concession_n i_o deny_v that_o any_o man_n have_v the_o spirit_n of_o supplication_n who_o have_v not_o the_o spirit_n of_o grace_n because_o the_o spirit_n of_o supplication_n be_v give_v with_o a_o leper_n and_o when_o he_o be_v cure_v the_o cure_n be_v accidental_a in_o this_o respect_n god_n give_v a_o new_a heart_n and_o a_o new_a spirit_n i._n e._n he_o do_v as_o it_o be_v new_a shape_n the_o heart_n and_o spirit_n he_o put_v into_o they_o such_o gracious_a quality_n which_o be_v opposite_a to_o the_o wicked_a or_o sinful_a quality_n in_o they_o before_o and_o these_o be_v call_v
