observation_n 1._o see_v the_o stature_n of_o christ_n church_n and_o the_o godly_a therein_o be_v like_o a_o palmtree_n of_o a_o tall_a and_o goodly_a growth_n this_o shall_v warn_v all_o those_o who_o be_v true_a member_n thereof_o to_o strive_v to_o grow_v in_o godliness_n daily_o and_o heavenliness_n of_o affection_n that_o they_o prove_v not_o dwarf_n in_o christianity_n stand_v ever_o as_o it_o be_v at_o one_o stay_v and_o deceive_a themselves_o as_o if_o they_o have_v true_a grace_n which_o they_o have_v not_o who_o be_v so_o because_o true_a grace_n where_o ever_o it_o be_v be_v still_o grow_v and_o the_o godly_a walk_n still_o from_o strength_n to_o strength_n till_o they_o see_v god_n in_o zion_n psal_n 84._o 7._o 2._o against_o sectary_n and_o separatist_n we_o observe_v delight_n the_o warm_n of_o the_o soul_n with_o heavenly_a love_n the_o inflame_a of_o it_o with_o holy_a zeal_n and_o comfort_v thereof_o when_o it_o be_v deject_v which_o go_v down_o say_v he_o sweet_o to_o wit_n when_o the_o same_o be_v hear_v with_o joy_n and_o delight_n and_o among_o many_o other_o effect_n produce_v also_o this_o that_o it_o cause_v the_o lip_n of_o these_o that_o be_v asleep_a to_o speak_v that_o be_v it_o waken_v and_o rouse_v up_o the_o spirit_n of_o those_o who_o be_v asleep_a in_o sin_n and_o security_n and_o cause_n their_o lip_n to_o speak_v by_o humble_a confession_n and_o other_o holy_a speech_n to_o god_n glory_n and_o the_o good_a of_o other_o to_o the_o like_a whereof_o they_o be_v not_o before_o accustom_a observation_n 1._o we_o see_v that_o christ_n church_n and_o her_o true_a member_n albeit_o well_o grow_v in_o grace_n like_o a_o palmtree_n for_o stature_n yet_o have_v need_n to_o be_v dress_v and_o purge_v in_o the_o branch_n thereof_o because_o of_o their_o oft_o luxuriate_v in_o peace_n and_o prosperity_n as_o we_o see_v in_o david_n psal_n 30._o 6._o and_o because_o of_o daily_o attract_v of_o great_a pollution_n and_o guiltiness_n and_o therefore_o when_o he_o come_v with_o the_o snedding_n knife_n of_o affliction_n or_o rough_a hand_n of_o purge_v let_v we_o not_o think_v uncouth_a thereof_o as_o the_o apostle_n exhort_v concern_v the_o fiery_a trial_n but_o reverence_v his_o care_n and_o wisdom_n submit_v
