length_n he_o may_v present_v you_o without_o spot_n or_o blemish_n into_o the_o presence_n of_o his_o father_n chap._n v._o persuasion_n to_o accept_v of_o the_o redeemer_n and_o give_v up_o the_o servant_n to_o be_v
prevail_v with_o they_o when_o they_o see_v in_o good_a earnest_n what_o be_v like_a to_o betide_v they_o and_o if_o christ_n will_v take_v this_o course_n and_o show_v heaven_n and_o hell_n if_o that_o be_v possible_a plain_o to_o their_o eyesight_n it_o be_v like_o the_o most_o stubborn_a sinner_n will_v be_v awaken_v but_o he_o will_v not_o do_v thus_o nor_o be_v there_o any_o reason_n he_o that_o everlasting_a death_n whereof_o thou_o be_v in_o danger_n and_o to_o this_o purpose_n he_o send_v his_o word_n and_o spirit_n to_o cure_v thou_o of_o thy_o ignorance_n and_o wickedness_n what_o thou_o will_v have_v christ_n shall_v keep_v thou_o from_o hell_n but_o yet_o by_o all_o mean_v he_o must_v give_v thou_o liberty_n to_o live_v in_o sin_n that_o be_v he_o must_v let_v thou_o have_v not_o such_o a_o spiritual_a life_n wrought_v in_o they_o as_o may_v put_v they_o upon_o care_n to_o have_v this_o life_n support_v and_o increase_v none_o can_v feel_v hunger_n but_o they_o that_o live_v none_o can_v desire_v after_o great_a measure_n of_o grace_n who_o have_v not_o in_o some_o sort_n know_v and_o taste_v the_o sweatnesse_n and_o excellency_n thereof_o but_o no_o humble_a soul_n need_v therefore_o be_v discourage_v as_o if_o they_o be_v not_o worthy_a to_o feast_v at_o this_o table_n where_o none_o be_v welcome_a but_o such_o as_o have_v true_a grace_n wrought_v in_o they_o since_o they_o may_v be_v confident_a of_o their_o acceptance_n if_o they_o can_v real_o find_v in_o themselves_o a_o appetite_n to_o the_o provision_n make_v for_o they_o a_o hearty_a and_o sincere_a desire_n that_o their_o spiritual_a want_n may_v be_v supply_v their_o weakness_n strengthen_v and_o all_o their_o distemper_n heal_v and_o what_o true_a christian_a who_o grace_n be_v never_o so_o low_a but_o find_v in_o himself_o a_o love_n to_o and_o a_o longing_n after_o more_o but_o this_o indeed_o condemn_v those_o who_o feel_v no_o need_n of_o any_o nourishment_n for_o their_o soul_n and_o therefore_o either_o whole_o neglect_v sacrament_n and_o other_o mean_n whereby_o it_o be_v to_o be_v have_v or_o else_o come_v without_o any_o stomach_n at_o all_o and_o you_o be_v by_o nature_n and_o to_o this_o very_a day_n of_o that_o which_o be_v the_o true_a riches_n the_o beauty_n and_o dignity_n of_o the_o soul_n in_o that_o you_o be_v so_o unlike_a to_o god_n so_o full_a of_o corruption_n and_o wickedness_n so_o empty_a of_o that_o spiritual_a wisdom_n that_o holiness_n humility_n heavenly-mindednesse_a and_o the_o like_a excellency_n which_o alone_o can_v render_v you_o amiable_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o your_o maker_n you_o can_v imagine_v if_o you_o have_v well_o study_v your_o own_o heart_n that_o you_o bring_v into_o the_o world_n with_o you_o all_o that_o grace_n which_o be_v of_o absolute_a necessity_n to_o perfect_a and_o accomplish_v your_o nature_n and_o it_o be_v too_o sad_a a_o sign_n you_o be_v still_o without_o it_o whilst_o you_o have_v no_o more_o mind_n to_o those_o mean_n which_o god_n have_v ordain_v for_o the_o conveyance_n and_o increase_n of_o it_o how_o happy_a a_o thing_n now_o be_v it_o if_o you_o be_v but_o thorough_o zeal_n for_o he_o shall_v be_v find_v pure_a selfishnesse_n and_o therefore_o they_o dare_v not_o make_v their_o own_o private_a apprehension_n which_o they_o find_v not_o in_o the_o creed_n nor_o in_o the_o gospel_n the_o standard_n and_o measure_n of_o such_o as_o must_v pass_v for_o godly_a and_o be_v think_v worthy_a their_o regard_n and_o esteem_v which_o be_v the_o constant_a note_n of_o by_o his_o spirit_n but_o moreover_o the_o charity_n requisite_a in_o communicant_n consist_v not_o only_o in_o a_o cordial_a love_n to_o the_o godly_a who_o they_o be_v to_o reckon_v upon_o as_o dear_a friend_n but_o also_o in_o forgiveness_n of_o injury_n to_o all_o that_o be_v their_o enemy_n and_o have_v do_v or_o endeavour_v to_o do_v they_o wrong_n which_o temper_n be_v of_o flat_a necessity_n to_o all_o that_o will_v come_v worthy_o to_o this_o ordinance_n hither_o man_n come_v expect_v a_o pardon_n and_o can_v he_o look_v for_o a_o pardon_n of_o his_o many_o and_o heinous_a sin_n from_o the_o great_a god_n of_o heaven_n and_o earth_n who_o will_v not_o forgive_v some_o small_a offence_n that_o he_o may_v have_v receive_v from_o his_o fellow-creature_n small_a i_o say_v such_o unsufferable_a injury_n that_o by_o all_o mean_v we_o must_v seek_v to_o be_v revenge_v sure_o such_o a_o wicked_a spirit_n can_v enter_v into_o the_o breast_n of_o a_o christian_a that_o remember_v what_o he_o have_v do_v against_o god_n and_o yet_o what_o he_o expect_v from_o he_o and_o what_o he_o have_v already_o receive_v and_o indeed_o there_o be_v nothing_o more_o likely_a to_o bring_v we_o to_o the_o performance_n of_o this_o duty_n to_o our_o brother_n than_o the_o serious_a consideration_n of_o the_o infinite_a mercy_n god_n have_v show_v to_o we_o in_o send_v his_o son_n and_o free_o tender_v forgiveness_n through_o he_o this_o we_o find_v press_v upon_o we_o eph._n 4.32_o and_o be_v you_o kind_a one_o to_o another_o tender-hearted_a forgive_a one_o another_o even_o still_o for_o aught_o that_o any_o man_n live_v can_v show_v to_o the_o contrary_n christ_n be_v the_o same_o yesterday_o to_o day_n and_o for_o ever_o he_o who_o will_v be_v with_o his_o minister_n
