not_o in_o god_n and_o observe_v not_o his_o commandment_n as_o they_o shall_v do_v which_o we_o can_v do_v by_o reason_n of_o this_o natural_a infirmity_n or_o hatred_n of_o the_o flesh_n as_o paul_n call_v it_o against_o god_n in_o this_o sense_n 7._o take_v paul_n this_o word_n wicked_a when_o he_o say_v that_o christ_n die_v for_o the_o wicked_a so_o must_v we_o interpret_v st._n paul_n and_o take_v his_o word_n or_o else_o no_o man_n shall_v be_v 8._o damn_v now_o we_o know_v that_o paul_n himself_o saint_n john_n and_o christ_n damn_v the_o contemner_n of_o god_n or_o such_o as_o willing_o continue_v in_o sin_n and_o will_v not_o repent_v those_o the_o scripture_n exclude_v from_o the_o general_a promise_n of_o grace_n thou_o see_v by_o the_o place_n afore_o rehearse_v that_o though_o we_o can_v believe_v in_o god_n as_o undoubted_o as_o be_v require_v by_o reason_n of_o this_o our_o natural_a sickness_n and_o disease_n yet_o for_o christ_n sake_n in_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n we_o be_v account_v as_o faithful_a believer_n for_o who_o sake_n this_o natural_a disease_n and_o sickness_n be_v pardon_v by_o what_o name_n soever_o st._n paul_n call_v the_o natural_a infirmity_n or_o original_a sin_n in_o man._n and_o this_o imperfection_n or_o natural_a all_o sickness_n take_v of_o adam_n exclude_v not_o the_o person_n from_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n except_o we_o transgress_v the_o limit_n and_o bound_n of_o this_o original_a sin_n by_o our_o own_o folly_n and_o malice_n and_o either_o of_o a_o contempt_n or_o hate_n of_o god_n word_n we_o fall_v into_o sin_n &_o transform_v ourselves_o into_o the_o image_n of_o the_o devil_n then_z ●ee_z exclude_v by_o this_o mean_n ourselves_o from_o god_n the_o promise_n and_o merit_n of_o christ_n who_o only_o receive_v our_o infirmity_n and_o original_a disease_n and_o not_o the_o contempt_n of_o he_o and_o his_o law_n further_n the_o promise_v appertain_v to_o such_o as_o repent_v therefore_o isaiah_n say_v without_o exception_n that_o the_o infirmity_n of_o all_o man_n be_v cast_v upon_o his_o bless_a shoulder_n it_o be_v our_o office_n therefore_o to_o see_v we_o exclude_v not_o ourselves_o from_o the_o general_a grace_n promise_v to_o all_o man_n it_o be_v not_o a_o christian_a man_n part_n to_o attribute_v his_o salvation_n to_o his_o own_o freewill_n with_o the_o pelagian_a &_o extenuate_v original_a sin_n nor_o to_o make_v god_n the_o author_n of_o ill_a and_o our_o damnation_n which_o the_o the_o manichee_n nor_o yet_o to_o say_v god_n have_v write_v fatal_a law_n as_o the_o stoic_a and_o with_o necessity_n of_o destiny_n violent_o pull_v one_o by_o the_o hair_n into_o heaven_n and_o thrust_v the_o other_o headlong_o into_o hell_n but_o assertaine_v thyself_o by_o the_o scripture_n what_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o reprobation_n and_o what_o of_o election_n the_o cause_n of_o rejection_n or_o damnation_n be_v sin_n in_o man_n which_o will_v not_o hear_v neither_o man_n receive_v the_o promise_n of_o the_o gospel_n or_o else_o after_o he_o have_v receive_v it_o by_o accustom_a do_v of_o ill_a fall_v either_o into_o a_o contempt_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o will_v not_o study_v to_o live_v thereafter_o or_o else_o hate_v the_o gospel_n because_o it_o condemn_v his_o ungodly_a life_n and_o will_v there_o be_v neither_o god_n nor_o gospel_n to_o punish_v he_o for_o do_v of_o ill_a this_o sentence_n be_v true_a howsoever_o man_n judge_n of_o predestination_n god_n be_v not_o the_o cause_n of_o sin_n nor_o will_v not_o have_v man_n to_o sin_n thou_o be_v not_o the_o god_n that_o will_v sin_n 4._o and_o it_o be_v say_v thy_o perdition_n o_o israel_n be_v of_o thyself_o and_o thy_o succour_n only_o of_o i_o the_o cause_n of_o our_o 9_o election_n be_v the_o mercy_n of_o god_n in_o christ._n howbeit_o 16._o he_o that_o will_v be_v partaker_n of_o this_o election_n must_v receive_v the_o promise_n in_o christ_n by_o faith_n for_o therefore_o we_o be_v elect_v because_o afterward_o we_o be_v make_v the_o member_n of_o christ._n therefore_o as_o in_o the_o justification_n or_o remission_n of_o sin_n there_o be_v a_o cause_n though_o no_o dignity_n 29._o at_o all_o in_o the_o receiver_n of_o his_o justification_n and_o so_o we_o judge_v he_o by_o the_o scripture_n to_o be_v justify_v and_o have_v remission_n of_o his_o sin_n because_o he_o receive_v the_o grace_n promise_v in_o christ_n so_o we_o judge_v of_o election_n by_o the_o event_n or_o success_n that_o happen_v in_o the_o life_n of_o man_n those_o only_a to_o be_v elect_v that_o by_o faith_n apprehend_v the_o mercy_n promise_v in_o christ_n otherwise_o we_o shall_v not_o judge_v of_o election_n for_o paul_n say_v plain_o that_o they_o that_o believe_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o that_o the_o 16._o spirit_n of_o god_n do_v testify_v with_o our_o spirit_n that_o we_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n be_v admonish_v therefore_o by_o scripture_n we_o must_v leave_v sin_n and_o do_v the_o work_n command_v of_o god_n or_o else_o it_o be_v a_o carnal_a opinion_n that_o we_o have_v blind_v ourselves_o withal_o of_o fatal_a destiny_n and_o yet_o will_v not_o save_v we_o and_o in_o christ_n case_n there_o follow_v not_o in_o our_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n amendment_n of_o life_n it_o be_v not_o lively_a faith_n that_o we_o have_v but_o rather_o a_o vain_a knowledge_n and_o mere_a presumption_n john_n say_v no_o man_n come_v to_o i_o except_o my_o father_n draw_v he_o many_o man_n understand_v these_o word_n in_o a_o wrong_a sense_n as_o though_o god_n require_v in_o a_o reasonable_a man_n no_o more_o 248._o than_o in_o a_o dead_a post_n and_o mark_v not_o the_o word_n that_o follow_v every_o man_n ibid._n that_o hear_v and_o learn_v of_o my_o father_n come_v to_o i_o god_n draw_v with_o his_o word_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n but_o man_n duty_n be_v to_o hear_v &_o learn_v that_o be_v to_o say_v receive_v the_o grace_n offer_v consent_n to_o the_o promise_n and_o not_o repugn_v the_o god_n that_o call_v god_n do_v promise_v the_o holy_a ghost_n unto_o they_o that_o ask_v he_o and_o not_o to_o they_o that_o contemn_v he_o we_o have_v the_o scripture_n daily_o in_o our_o hand_n read_v it_o and_o hear_v
