any_o of_o his_o successor_n without_o it_o 70._o but_o this_o be_v speak_v in_o the_o name_n of_o all_o jesus_n to_o show_v that_o he_o as_o well_o understand_v the_o heart_n of_o his_o twelve_o apostle_n as_o he_o do_v of_o the_o multitude_n of_o his_o disciple_n v._n 64._o answer_v they_o to_o this_o purpose_n what_o one_o of_o you_o have_v say_v in_o behalf_n of_o all_o be_v true_a of_o to_o beget_v and_o improve_v in_o the_o disciple_n of_o jesus_n a_o spirit_n of_o true_a wisdom_n and_o piety_n and_o to_o establish_v they_o in_o a_o holy_a life_n that_o which_o our_o lord_n principal_o aim_v at_o in_o all_o this_o discourse_n be_v to_o make_v his_o hearer_n concern_v in_o good_a earnest_n for_o their_o eternal_a state_n which_o will_v at_o first_o sight_n appear_v to_o any_o man_n that_o mind_v how_o often_o those_o say_n return_v of_o everlasting_a life_n and_o live_v for_o ever_o and_o be_v raise_v up_o at_o the_o last_o day_n now_o this_o indeed_o seem_v to_o be_v his_o great_a design_n in_o almost_o all_o his_o sermon_n and_o application_n to_o the_o people_n from_o whence_o we_o may_v gather_v this_o profitable_a instruction_n that_o man_n be_v more_o or_o less_o prepare_v to_o receive_v the_o truth_n as_o it_o be_v in_o jesus_n according_a as_o they_o be_v more_o or_o less_o affect_v with_o the_o end_n of_o his_o come_n into_o the_o world_n which_o be_v to_o bring_v they_o to_o everlasting_a life_n but_o in_o this_o chapter_n and_o in_o some_o other_o there_o be_v a_o peculiar_a instruction_n tend_v to_o this_o purpose_n which_o we_o ought_v all_o of_o we_o very_o frequent_o to_o consider_v not_o slight_v it_o because_o it_o be_v very_o plain_a but_o make_v much_o of_o it_o both_o because_o it_o be_v very_o useful_a and_o strong_o suggest_v by_o our_o lord_n himself_o and_o it_o be_v in_o short_a this_o that_o the_o care_n we_o be_v at_o and_o the_o pain_n we_o take_v for_o the_o welfare_n of_o this_o short_a life_n shall_v awaken_v in_o we_o a_o great_a care_n and_o concern_v for_o our_o everlasting_a welfare_n and_o that_o we_o who_o be_v so_o thoughtful_a and_o diligent_a in_o pursue_v our_o temporal_a interest_n shall_v be_v ashamed_a and_o count_v ourselves_o reprove_v by_o our_o worldly_a care_n if_o we_o be_v not_o much_o more_o careful_a to_o work_v out_o our_o salvation_n this_o be_v the_o method_n our_o call_v the_o spiritual_a benefit_n which_o he_o have_v in_o store_n for_o they_o bread_n and_o food_n and_o their_o receive_v those_o benefit_n eat_v and_o drink_v ever_o and_o anon_o let_v they_o know_v that_o if_o they_o eat_v and_o drink_v of_o that_o food_n which_o he_o come_v to_o give_v they_o they_o shall_v live_v for_o ever_o and_o what_o be_v the_o instruction_n of_o this_o way_n of_o discourse_v to_o they_o but_o that_o if_o the_o bodily_a food_n for_o which_o they_o be_v so_o solicitous_a be_v a_o valuable_a enjoyment_n which_o yet_o will_v serve_v but_o for_o the_o prolong_n disposition_n therefore_o you_o shall_v endeavour_v after_o and_o if_o by_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n you_o obtain_v they_o than_o you_o will_v ready_o understand_v and_o embrace_v the_o truth_n but_o christ_n shall_v begin_v to_o be_v establish_v upon_o the_o earth_n man_n shall_v not_o want_v any_o reasonable_a mean_n of_o conviction_n for_o the_o save_n of_o their_o soul_n because_o god_n will_v
