reflect_v upon_o our_o state_n in_o grace_n with_o reference_n unto_o god_n or_o upon_o our_o undertake_n among_o man_n or_o upon_o our_o ability_n to_o perform_v the_o same_o for_o in_o these_o who_o shall_v all_o such_o evil_n be_v impute_v must_v they_o not_o fall_v to_o the_o account_n of_o those_o that_o do_v provoke_v they_o to_o the_o cause_n thereof_o and_o have_v no_o thought_n of_o mutual_a compassion_n and_o tenderness_n to_o heal_v one_o another_o infirmity_n must_v they_o not_o be_v lay_v to_o the_o charge_n of_o those_o who_o rather_o than_o not_o to_o oppose_v the_o power_n of_o the_o way_n there_o all_o manner_n of_o confusion_n with_o irreconciliable_a war_n and_o hatred_n must_v needs_o break_v forth_o in_o the_o mind_n of_o a_o people_n the_o duty_n of_o peaceablenesse_n with_o all_o man_n therefore_o to_o take_v away_o these_o evil_n which_o unavoidable_o will_v follow_v the_o neglect_n of_o this_o three_o duty_n the_o apostle_n do_v add_v further_o two_o duty_n which_o be_v joint_a in_o the_o cure_n but_o in_o the_o application_n distinct_o make_v up_o the_o four_o and_o five_o part_n of_o the_o remedy_n of_o these_o public_a evil_n the_o four_o duty_n be_v to_o follow_v peace_n with_o all_o man_n and_o the_o five_o be_v to_o follow_v in_o like_a manner_n with_o all_o man_n holiness_n without_o which_o no_o man_n shall_v see_v the_o lord_n let_v we_o brief_o see_v what_o these_o thing_n mean_v to_o follow_v peace_n be_v to_o mind_n intend_v and_o do_v all_o thing_n which_o may_v procure_v and_o keep_v between_o ourselves_o and_o other_o mutual_a quietness_n from_o hurtful_a thought_n and_o attempt_n that_o the_o christian_a good_a will_n of_o be_v helpefull_a to_o each_o other_o against_o common_a 18._o rom._n 12._o 18._o misery_n harmlesnesse_n be_v set_v forth_o and_o when_o it_o be_v add_v that_o by_o this_o mean_n he_o shall_v bring_v forth_o judgement_n unto_o victory_n and_o that_o the_o gentile_n shall_v trust_v in_o his_o name_n his_o helpfulnesse_n unto_o all_o mankind_n against_o their_o common_a misery_n be_v declare_v as_o the_o true_a end_n and_o proper_a effect_n of_o that_o peaceable_a behaviour_n this_o then_o be_v the_o example_n by_o which_o all_o man_n but_o especial_o the_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n shall_v walk_v before_o other_o towards_o every_o one_o and_o if_o the_o thought_n of_o peace_n shall_v be_v thus_o extend_v unto_o all_o and_o chief_o by_o minister_n how_o will_v it_o be_v warrantable_a for_o any_o or_o in_o any_o respect_n for_o these_o to_o exclude_v the_o power_n under_o which_o we_o be_v set_v from_o the_o same_o and_o that_o by_o a_o aim_n to_o strive_v against_o they_o in_o all_o thing_n though_o they_o be_v thing_n in_o themselves_o and_o for_o the_o public_a never_o so_o good_a and_o useful_a christianity_n do_v set_v a_o rule_n to_o the_o spirit_n of_o man_n now_o if_o the_o frame_n of_o man_n spirit_n be_v whole_o bend_v to_o strive_v against_o and_o oppose_v some_o nen_n in_o particular_a continual_o how_o will_v they_o clear_v themselves_o before_o god_n who_o command_n be_v that_o they_o shall_v follow_v peace_n with_o all_o man_n ingenerall_n and_o that_o if_o it_o be_v possible_a &_o as_o much_o as_o in_o they_o lie_v that_o be_v at_o all_o time_n and_o upon_o occasion_n whensoever_o they_o have_v to_o do_v with_o they_o and_o because_o wheresoever_o the_o thought_n of_o peace_n and_o good_a 19_o james_n 3._o 19_o will_v prevail_v not_o but_o envy_v and_o strife_n rather_o take_v place_n there_o be_v always_o confusion_n and_o every_o evil_a work_n which_o defile_v the_o heart_n and_o hand_n of_o man_n before_o god_n the_o duty_n of_o follow_a holiness_n with_o all_o man_n therefore_o unto_o the_o endeavour_n of_o peace_n in_o respect_n of_o man_n the_o apostle_n do_v add_v the_o care_n of_o holiness_n in_o respect_n of_o god_n for_o this_o duty_n must_v be_v make_v 50._o mark_v 9_o 50._o the_o with_o all_o man_n be_v because_o they_o want_v holiness_n and_o seek_v not_o after_o it_o that_o be_v they_o set_v not_o their_o heart_n aright_o to_o take_v hold_n of_o grace_n whereby_o they_o may_v serve_v god_n acceptable_o with_o 28._o heb._n 2._o 28._o reverence_n and_o godly_a fear_n for_o if_o this_o grace_n as_o it_o be_v offer_v be_v apprehend_v and_o in_o the_o holiness_n of_o
