creature_n either_o man_n or_o angel_n good_a or_o bad_a not_o from_o o●her_o good_a man_n or_o angel_n for_o these_o neither_o will_v ●or_a can_v without_o loss_n of_o their_o goodness_n devise_v a_o apostle_n be_v author_n of_o such_o prediction_n we_o have_v already_o see_v all_o therefore_o that_o now_o remain_v will_v be_v to_o show_v the_o reason_n of_o the_o consequence_n viz._n why_o from_o thence_o we_o conclude_v they_o to_o be_v prophet_n what_o strength_n or_o force_n be_v there_o in_o the_o accomplishment_n of_o such_o prediction_n to_o show_v that_o the_o author_n of_o they_o be_v divine_o inspire_v what_o cause_n or_o reason_n be_v there_o on_o that_o account_n to_o conclude_v that_o they_o be_v prophet_n hereto_o i_o answer_v the_o reason_n be_v because_o thereby_o it_o appear_v they_o be_v entrust_v with_o some_o knowledge_n of_o god_n secret_a purpose_n concern_v future_a contingent_n to_o discover_v the_o force_n of_o this_o reason_n it_o will_v be_v needful_a to_o observe_v that_o contingent_n be_v twofold_a viz._n either_o such_o as_o happen_v as_o we_o call_v it_o by_o chance_n namely_o such_o as_o have_v their_o be_v from_o the_o concourse_n of_o immediate_a right_n of_o sovereignty_n over_o we_o for_o right_o in_o general_a be_v little_a or_o nothing_o else_o but_o that_o which_o be_v just_a or_o the_o object_n of_o justice_n viz._n that_o without_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o the_o gospel_n of_o his_o son_n we_o either_o whole_o surrender_v our_o s●lves_n to_o the_o s●ductions_n of_o the_o devil_n or_o ●lse_o we_o make_v too_o feeble_a a_o resistance_n o●_n too_o weak_a a_o opposition_n against_o they_o since_o satan_n conquer_v our_o first_o parents_n while_n there_o be_v nothing_o in_o they_o of_o a_o evil_a inclination_n certain_a it_o be_v to_o our_o reason_n that_o since_o of_o our_o own_o nature_n we_o be_v incline_v unto_o evil_n he_o will_v undoubted_o keep_v we_o in_o his_o subjection_n either_o by_o his_o fraud_n or_o by_o his_o force_n by_o his_o sub●il●y_n or_o his_o strength_n he_o will_v make_v the_o tendency_n of_o our_o heart_n life_n and_o action_n more_o to_o his_o pernicious_a design_n than_o to_o god●_n glory_n and_o thus_o it_o ever_o will_v have_v be_v without_o a_o almighty_a arm_n to_o help_v we_o and_o although_o in_o this_o universal_a monarchy_n the_o devil_n be_v a_o tyrant_n and_o usurper_n 10._o yet_o because_o it_o become_v he_o for_o who_o be_v all_o thing_n and_o by_o who_o be_v all_o thing_n in_o bring_v many_o son_n unto_o gl●ry_n to_o mak●_n the_o captain_n of_o th●ir_a salvation_n perfect_a through_o suffering_n infinite_a wisdom_n do_v not_o think_v fit_a to_o rescue_v we_o out_o of_o the_o hand_n of_o satan_n by_o the_o almighty_a force_n of_o mere_a omnipotence_n but_o be_v please_v to_o choose_v another_o a_o fair_a and_o more_o noble_a way_n for_o our_o redemption_n and_o that_o be_v to_o raise_v up_o one_o in_o our_o nature_n who_o shall_v not_o only_o conquer_v satan_n at_o his_o own_o weapon_n and_o so_o dissolve_v his_o seem_a right_o of_o conquest_n over_o we_o but_o also_o shall_v make_v atonement_n and_o satisfaction_n to_o god_n for_o our_o offeve●s_n and_o shall_v afterwards_o be_v able_a to_o succour_v they_o that_o be_v tempt_v now_o all_o these_o three_o part_n of_o redemption_n be_v undertake_v and_o be_v most_o happy_o accomplish_v by_o our_o blessed_a lord_n jesus_n partly_o in_o his_o temptation_n and_o suffering_n for_o we_o and_o partly_o in_o his_o state_n of_o exaltation_n far_o above_o we_o in_o order_n to_o make_v manifest_a the_o truth_n hereof_o it_o will_v not_o be_v amiss_o to_o observe_v that_o the_o whole_a world_n be_v a_o kind_n of_o armoury_n from_o whence_o the_o
