in_o a_o double_a respect_n 1._o as_o they_o come_v to_o be_v convince_v thereby_o of_o the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n and_o of_o their_o obnoxiousness_n by_o that_o to_o the_o wrath_n of_o almighty_a god_n and_o to_o be_v anxious_o concern_v in_o their_o own_o mind_n about_o their_o future_a state_n after_o death_n 2._o as_o they_o come_v thereby_o to_o a_o sensible_a discern_v of_o the_o nature_n and_o tendency_n of_o moral_a righteousness_n and_o goodness_n 1._o such_o a_o powerful_a impression_n upon_o the_o mind_n of_o principle_n of_o natural_a religion_n as_o i_o have_v say_v prepare_v man_n for_o a_o belief_n in_o christ_n as_o they_o come_v thereby_o to_o be_v convince_v of_o their_o guiltiness_n and_o of_o their_o obnoxiousness_n by_o that_o unto_o the_o wrath_n of_o almighty_a god_n and_o to_o be_v anxious_o concern_v in_o their_o own_o mind_n about_o their_o future_a state_n after_o death_n the_o natural_a operation_n of_o natural_a conscience_n do_v something_o to_o make_v man_n sensible_a of_o the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n and_o of_o their_o liableness_n to_o divine_a displeasure_n thereby_o st._n paul_n speak_v of_o the_o heathen_a that_o have_v not_o the_o law_n say_v conscience_n and_o well_o may_v their_o condition_n be_v very_o uneasy_a to_o their_o mind_n while_o they_o be_v certain_a of_o their_o liableness_n to_o the_o divine_a displeasure_n but_o ignorant_a and_o uncertain_a of_o any_o remedy_n against_o it_o s._n paul_n describe_v their_o condition_n to_o be_v such_o as_o that_o they_o be_v without_o hope_n eph._n 2.12_o that_o they_o be_v darkness_n none_o can_v have_v the_o benefit_n of_o that_o atonement_n and_o satisfaction_n make_v by_o his_o death_n but_o such_o as_o be_v content_a to_o be_v govern_v by_o he_o in_o their_o life_n and_o to_o yield_v obedience_n to_o his_o precept_n that_o none_o can_v be_v save_v by_o he_o that_o refuse_v to_o become_v sincere_a disciple_n to_o he_o and_o they_o will_v find_v it_o no_o unreasonable_a thing_n for_o they_o to_o obey_v his_o precept_n and_o to_o imitate_v his_o example_n when_o they_o understand_v that_o to_o do_v so_o be_v in_o effect_n but_o to_o abandon_v those_o sin_n which_o create_v so_o much_o trouble_v in_o their_o mind_n before_o by_o make_v they_o liable_a to_o and_o by_o put_v they_o in_o fear_n of_o the_o eternal_a wrath_n of_o almighty_a god_n the_o sense_n of_o that_o danger_n their_o sin_n have_v expose_v they_o to_o and_o of_o that_o anxiety_n of_o mind_n they_o be_v bring_v into_o thereby_o will_v prepare_v the_o mind_n and_o dispose_v the_o will_n to_o receive_v christ_n as_o lord_n and_o to_o obey_v he_o in_o forsake_v those_o sin_n so_o long_o as_o they_o be_v well_o assure_v that_o then_o and_o not_o till_o then_o they_o shall_v be_v pardon_v through_o his_o blood_n and_o so_o be_v discharge_v from_o those_o fear_n of_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n which_o have_v give_v they_o such_o uneasiness_n of_o mind_n before_o and_o when_o they_o have_v
