because_o there_o be_v but_o a_o little_a grace_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o a_o great_a deal_n of_o corruption_n in_o young_a convert_n like_o a_o spark_n of_o fire_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o a_o great_a deal_n of_o ash_n now_o if_o there_o lie_v a_o heap_n of_o ash_n and_o nothing_o else_o you_o do_v not_o stir_v they_o but_o if_o there_o be_v ash_n and_o some_o fire_n than_o you_o will_v stir_v distemper_n and_o will_v have_v no_o more_o of_o they_o they_o for_o the_o present_n will_v be_v more_o importunate_a active_a and_o stir_v than_o they_o be_v before_o and_o beside_o the_o lord_n do_v this_o to_o humble_v thy_o heart_n the_o more_o that_o thereby_o thou_o may_v come_v to_o see_v the_o great_a corruption_n that_o be_v in_o thy_o soul_n before_o the_o work_n of_o thy_o corruption_n will_v discover_v much_o evil_n in_o thy_o heart_n that_o thou_o do_v not_o think_v be_v there_o before_o when_o the_o corruption_n of_o man_n and_o woman_n lie_v still_o they_o think_v there_o be_v because_o their_o corruption_n lie_v still_o in_o they_o and_o do_v not_o stir_v they_o can_v believe_v what_o abundance_n of_o wickedness_n there_o be_v in_o their_o heart_n if_o god_n shall_v open_v the_o wickedness_n that_o there_o be_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n natural_o and_o so_o all_o unregenerate_a man_n they_o will_v think_v you_o speak_v strange_a riddle_n whereas_o they_o bless_v themselves_o they_o bless_v god_n they_o know_v no_o such_o thing_n in_o their_o heart_n no_o yes_o there_o be_v such_o thing_n only_o they_o be_v not_o stir_v but_o they_o lie_v quiet_a as_o mud_n in_o the_o bottom_n of_o a_o pond_n there_o it_o be_v yet_o you_o can_v see_v it_o till_o it_o be_v stir_v at_o first_o conversion_n i_o say_v the_o lord_n suffer_v thy_o corruption_n thus_o to_o stir_v that_o he_o may_v discover_v to_o thou_o what_o a_o evil_a heart_n thou_o have_v what_o abundance_n of_o sin_n there_o be_v in_o thy_o heart_n and_o therefore_o your_o young_a convert_n they_o look_v upon_o themselves_o more_o loathsome_a and_o vile_a than_o over_o they_o think_v they_o have_v be_v and_o beside_o the_o devil_n see_v it_o a_o vain_a thing_n to_o tempt_v a_o young_a convert_n to_o any_o gross_a act_n of_o sin_n when_o conscience_n have_v life_n and_o power_n in_o it_o he_o shall_v never_o prevail_v that_o way_n but_o now_o he_o think_v he_o may_v prevail_v to_o disturb_v which_o we_o all_o be_v for_o the_o whole_a world_n do_v lie_v in_o filth_n as_o a_o carrion_n do_v lie_v in_o his_o slime_n now_o if_o we_o will_v worship_v god_n so_o as_o to_o sanctify_v he_o we_o must_v apply_v christ_n to_o our_o soul_n and_o get_v our_o conscience_n purge_v from_o dead_a work_n and_o to_o have_v the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n in_o we_o to_o quicken_v up_o our_o heart_n in_o the_o way_n of_o holiness_n to_o have_v the_o image_n of_o jesus_n christ_n in_o we_o whereby_o we_o may_v be_v holy_a according_a to_o our_o proportion_n even_o as_o he_o himself_o be_v holy_a this_o must_v be_v change_v through_o the_o work_n of_o regeneration_n there_o must_v be_v a_o regeneration_n in_o the_o heart_n there_o must_v be_v divine_a principle_n of_o the_o grace_n of_o the_o first_o and_o then_o he_o accept_v his_o offering_n so_o you_o must_v look_v to_o that_o to_o have_v your_o person_n first_o accept_v of_o god_n before_o any_o duty_n can_v be_v accept_v you_o think_v though_o you_o be_v wicked_a and_o sinful_a yet_o if_o you_o amend_v your_o life_n god_n will_v accept_v of_o you_o you_o go_v that_o way_n to_o work_v but_o certain_o that_o be_v the_o wrong_a way_n you_o must_v first_o look_v after_o mean_n of_o acception_n of_o your_o person_n which_o be_v through_o the_o righteousness_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o through_o the_o sanctification_n ot_fw-mi
