make_v their_o spirit_n to_o smart_v with_o trouble_n after_o trouble_n with_o a_o number_n of_o trouble_n which_o they_o be_v neither_o able_a to_o reckon_v nor_o to_o bear_v my_o soul_n be_v full_a of_o trouble_n 4._o the_o dolour_n of_o the_o mind_n be_v able_a to_o waste_v away_o the_o body_n which_o can_v but_o shrink_v and_o pine_v away_o when_o the_o soul_n be_v sick_a with_o anguish_n my_o life_n draw_v near_o to_o the_o grave_n say_v he_o and_o this_o be_v the_o second_o degree_n of_o his_o trouble_n ver._n 4._o i_o be_o count_v with_o they_o that_o go_v down_o into_o the_o pit_n i_o be_o as_o a_o man_n that_o have_v no_o strength_n the_o three_o degree_n of_o his_o trouble_n be_v that_o in_o the_o judgement_n of_o they_o who_o know_v his_o condition_n and_o possible_o lament_v iâ—…_n he_o be_v count_v a_o lose_a man_n yea_o and_o he_o himself_o do_v find_v no_o strength_n to_o bear_v out_o or_o to_o recover_v himself_o whence_o learn_v 1._o it_o be_v no_o small_a tentation_n and_o vexation_n of_o spirit_n to_o the_o godly_a believer_n to_o be_v in_o the_o judgement_n of_o beholder_n a_o lose_a man_n because_o of_o the_o seem_a desperate_a condition_n of_o his_o soul_n and_o yet_o it_o may_v befall_v a_o dear_a child_n of_o god_n i_o be_o count_v with_o they_o that_o go_v down_o in_o the_o pit_n 2._o albeit_o god_n have_v by_o grace_n sever_v death_n from_o hell_n unto_o the_o believer_n yet_o the_o connexion_n of_o these_o two_o if_o justice_n be_v not_o satisfy_v in_o the_o redeemer_n shall_v never_o be_v forget_v as_o the_o scripture_n give_v the_o same_o name_n to_o death_n grave_n and_o hell_n may_v teach_v we_o i_o be_o count_v with_o they_o that_o go_v down_o to_o the_o pit_n or_o grave_n or_o hell_n 3._o whatsoever_o strength_n of_o soul_n or_o body_n a_o man_n have_v in_o his_o possession_n shall_v be_v soon_o empty_v when_o god_n put_v he_o in_o distress_n except_o new_a furniture_n be_v supply_v unto_o he_o and_o that_o no_o remember_v no_o more_o and_o they_o be_v cut_v off_o from_o thy_o hand_n the_o four_o degree_n of_o his_o trouble_n be_v that_o he_o be_v like_o the_o leper_n in_o the_o law_n shut_v out_o from_o the_o live_n and_o put_v among_o the_o dead_a and_o no_o more_o fit_a for_o any_o duty_n of_o the_o live_n which_o teach_v we_o that_o the_o believer_n in_o god_n may_v at_o some_o time_n be_v so_o burden_v with_o trouble_n of_o spirit_n as_o he_o can_v neither_o think_v nor_o speak_v nor_o go_v about_o any_o duty_n of_o the_o live_n for_o a_o time_n i_o be_o or_o i_o be_o count_v say_v he_o as_o one_o free_a among_o the_o dead_a or_o shut_v out_o and_o separate_v among_o the_o dead_a the_o five_o degree_n of_o his_o trouble_n he_o be_v a_o man_n who_o life_n be_v violent_o pluck_v from_o he_o who_o get_v not_o liberty_n to_o die_v at_o leisure_n or_o in_o peace_n but_o be_v thrust_v out_o of_o the_o world_n sudden_o with_o a_o deadly_a wound_n and_o such_o may_v the_o condition_n of_o a_o soul_n dear_a to_o god_n seem_v to_o itself_o to_o be_v i_o be_o like_o the_o slay_v that_o lie_n in_o the_o grave_n the_o six_o degree_n of_o his_o trouble_n be_v he_o seem_v to_o be_v deprive_v of_o the_o comfortable_a vicissitude_n of_o the_o common_a benefit_n of_o life_n and_o of_o those_o change_n which_o ordinary_o god_n visitation_n do_v make_v as_o if_o he_o be_v leave_v under_o the_o power_n of_o death_n there_o to_o lie_v without_o a_o change_n of_o that_o condition_n for_o ever_o and_o such_o may_v the_o case_n of_o a_o belove_a saint_n seem_v to_o be_v both_o to_o himself_o and_o to_o other_o i_o be_o as_o one_o in_o grave_n who_o thou_o remember_v no_o more_o yea_o the_o believer_n at_o a_o time_n may_v lose_v the_o sight_n of_o everlasting_a promise_n and_o seem_v to_o himself_o to_o be_v reject_v of_o god_n i_o be_o as_o they_o that_o be_v cut_v off_o from_o thy_o hand_n ver._n 6._o thou_o have_v lay_v i_o in_o the_o low_a pit_n in_o darkness_n in_o the_o deep_n the_o seven_o degree_n of_o his_o trouble_n he_o seem_v as_o a_o man_n already_o condemn_v and_o possess_v of_o the_o torment_n of_o hell_n in_o the_o extricable_a misery_n of_o the_o damn_a deprive_v of_o all_o light_n of_o consolation_n in_o the_o gulf_n of_o desperation_n wherein_o a_o man_n can_v find_v ground_n nor_o deliverance_n from_o it_o whence_o learn_v 1_o that_o this_o also_o may_v be_v the_o case_n of_o a_o believer_n in_o his_o own_o sense_n thou_o have_v
