part_n of_o the_o comparison_n touch_v the_o godly_a as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v thou_o oh_o lord_n christ_n destroy_v the_o wicked_a and_o roote_v out_o their_o memory_n nevertheless_o thou_o do_v gather_v thy_o church_n and_o increase_v the_o number_n of_o thy_o people_n that_o thy_o glory_n may_v be_v spread_v and_o extend_v to_o the_o uttermost_a bound_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o yet_o do_v thou_o not_o gather_v they_o to_o rest_n and_o quietness_n of_o this_o life_n but_o to_o great_a vexation_n and_o affliction_n and_o therefore_o do_v they_o resort_v to_o thou_o in_o their_o trouble_n god_n and_o will_v be_v worship_v alone_o and_o not_o with_o other_o false_a god_n so_o be_v he_o a_o severe_a god_n and_o delight_v more_o in_o single_a obedience_n to_o his_o word_n than_o in_o pain_n of_o the_o punishment_n so_o that_o as_o i_o have_v say_v their_o meaning_n be_v that_o god_n injurious_o spare_v their_o sinful_a father_n and_o punish_v the_o innocent_a child_n 29._o in_o hieremie_n also_o cap._n 31._o it_o may_v appear_v they_o use_v the_o same_o proverb_n wherefore_o the_o prophet_n ezechiel_n in_o this_o place_n defend_v the_o justice_n of_o god_n against_o their_o blasphemous_a obloquy_n &_o show_v that_o as_z the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n may_v have_v other_o respect_n in_o their_o punishment_n than_o they_o be_v able_a to_o conceive_v so_o they_o can_v not_o right_o quarrel_v with_o god_n in_o that_o point_n because_o beside_o their_o father_n wickedness_n every_o man_n have_v his_o own_o sin_n for_o which_o in_o justice_n he_o may_v be_v condemn_v and_o punish_v and_o the_o prophet_n to_o this_o purpose_n use_v five_o eause_n 1_o the_o first_o be_v that_o the_o just_a man_n continue_v in_o his_o justice_n and_o do_v in_o all_o thing_n right_o shall_v prosper_v and_o not_o be_v punish_v this_o do_v he_o in_o the_o 5._o etc_n 6._o 7._o 8._o and._n 9_o verse_n wherein_o also_o by_o particular_a property_n he_o describe_v a_o just_a man._n 2_o the_o second_o be_v if_o that_o just_a father_n beget_v a_o wicked_a son_n etc_n his_o father_n justice_n shall_v not_o help_v he_o but_o he_o shall_v be_v punish_v for_o his_o own_o naughtiness_n 3_o the_o
