in_o this_o wise_a so_o great_o love_v god_n that_o thou_o can_v willing_o suffer_v and_o do_v all_o thing_n for_o his_o sake_n that_o thou_o revenge_v not_o injury_n do_v unto_o thou_o but_o wish_v well_o from_o thy_o hart_n to_o all_o yea_o even_o to_o thy_o enemy_n for_o so_o do_v christ_n because_o while_o they_o vex_v and_o trouble_v thou_o they_o wot_v not_o what_o they_o do_v if_o thou_o the_o worship_n and_o service_n of_o god_n but_o that_o shall_v never_o be_v see_v for_o it_o be_v against_o nature_n forasmuch_o therefore_o as_o man_n common_o vaunt_v of_o a_o vain_a shadow_n of_o faith_n &_o deceive_v themselves_o while_o they_o brag_v that_o they_o both_o know_v god_n and_o believe_v in_o he_o not_o consider_v advize_o what_o it_o be_v to_o believe_v in_o he_o nor_o wherein_o it_o consist_v therefore_o both_o david_n in_o this_o place_n as_o also_o christ_n &_o paul_n every_o where_o do_v urge_v and_o require_v that_o this_o shall_v be_v show_v in_o the_o observation_n of_o the_o second_o table_n that_o be_v to_o say_v in_o the_o sincere_a love_n of_o our_o neighbour_n wherein_o for_o no_o other_o cause_n be_v the_o whole_a accomplishment_n of_o the_o law_n say_v to_o consist_v for_o except_o thou_o be_v affect_v with_o that_o fervent_a love_n of_o god_n which_o may_v draw_v thou_o to_o his_o obedience_n thy_o faith_n be_v cold_a nay_o dead_a as_o be_v destitute_a of_o her_o natural_a heat_n yea_o i_o dare_v be_v hold_n to_o say_v that_o this_o be_v not_o faith_n but_o a_o vain_a persuasion_n touch_v god_n or_o touch_v his_o son_n christ_n whereby_a thou_o deceive_v thyself_o this_o true_a and_o lively_a faith_n therefore_o which_o dwell_v inward_o in_o the_o soul_n and_o can_v be_v see_v of_o man_n but_o of_o god_n only_o who_o be_v the_o searcher_n of_o the_o heart_n be_v here_o describe_v by_o the_o effect_n as_o it_o be_v also_o in_o many_o other_o place_n he_o that_o be_v endue_v with_o this_o faith_n shall_v do_v say_v david_n the_o thing_n that_o be_v here_o prescribe_v and_o shall_v never_o be_v cast_v out_o of_o the_o house_n of_o god_n because_o he_o belong_v unto_o he_o for_o he_o be_v endue_v with_o his_o spirit_n like_a as_o therefore_o when_o the_o earth_n be_v set_v direct_o &_o diameter-wise_a as_o they_o say_v between_o the_o sun_n and_o the_o moon_n no_o man_n live_v see_v it_o with_o his_o eye_n neither_o can_v see_v it_o but_o god_n discearn_v it_o apparantlye_o yet_o we_o by_o the_o effect_n thereof_o do_v easy_o and_o most_o certainlye_o perceive_v it_o by_o the_o eclipse_n of_o the_o moon_n for_o she_o be_v therefore_o darken_a because_o that_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o earth_n put_v between_o she_o and_o the_o sun_n she_o can_v then_o borrow_v her_o light_n of_o the_o sun_n so_o neither_o can_v any_o man_n except_o god_n see_v the_o faith_n of_o another_o body_n but_o by_o the_o effect_n and_o as_o by_o smoke_n come_v forth_o of_o a_o chimney_n we_o gather_v that_o there_o be_v fire_n and_o as_o we_o certain_o perceive_v and_o know_v that_o a_o man_n be_v endue_v with_o life_n and_o soul_n who_o we_o see_v to_o walk_v to_o speak_v and_o to_o do_v those_o thing_n that_o belong_v unto_o a_o man_n albeit_o we_o see_v not_o his_o soul_n neither_o indeed_o can_v we_o see_v it_o for_o it_o come_v not_o within_o compass_n of_o our_o sight_n even_o so_o we_o faith_n by_o her_o effect_n and_o on_o the_o other_o side_n as_o if_o a_o man_n will_v persuade_v we_o that_o there_o be_v fire_n where_o there_o be_v no_o heat_n or_o that_o there_o be_v life_n in_o that_o carcase_n that_o in_o no_o wise_a move_v feel_v or_o breathe_v we_o will_v steadfast_o deny_v it_o and_o that_o trulye_a so_o he_o that_o say_v he_o have_v faith_n without_o this_o divine_a heat_n that_o be_v to_o say_v servant_n love_n of_o god_n and_o without_o this_o vital_a spirit_n of_o faith_n be_v deceive_v neither_o be_v any_o credit_n to_o be_v give_v unto_o he_o for_o this_o cause_n therefore_o it_o be_v that_o the_o holy_a ghost_n every_o where_n in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n bring_v man_n to_o this_o point_n as_o david_n do_v in_o this_o place_n that_o they_o shall_v not_o deceive_v themselves_o and_o other_o for_o indeed_o there_o can_v be_v a_o more_o certain_a testimony_n of_o faith_n which_o be_v not_o see_v with_o the_o eye_n and_o whereof_o all_o man_n do_v boast_n then_o by_o the_o effect_n thereof_o and_o good_a work_v of_o all_o which_o she_o be_v the_o mother_n and_o therefore_o to_o she_o as_o the_o cause_n be_v worthilye_o attribute_v the_o dignity_n and_o glory_n of_o righteousness_n but_o yet_o so_o as_o it_o be_v such_o as_o we_o have_v say_v to_o wit_n lively_a and_o work_v through_o love_n for_o otherwise_o neither_o it_o nor_o any_o thing_n that_o come_v from_o it_o shall_v any_o way_n obtain_v righteousness_n but_o shall_v only_o be_v mere_a hypocrisy_n or_o else_o a_o vain_a knowledge_n in_o the_o mind_n of_o some_o god_n and_o therefore_o they_o be_v deceive_v that_o think_v themselves_o to_o be_v christian_n in_o what_o church_n or_o congregation_n soever_o they_o be_v except_o they_o

beleene_n in_o my_o name_n they_o shall_v cast_v out_o devil_n they_o shall_v lay_v their_o hand_n on_o the_o sick_a and_o they_o shall_v recover_v they_o shall_v speak_v with_o new_a tongue_n and_o if_o they_o drink_v any_o deadly_a thing_n it_o shall_v not_o hurt_v they_o now_o if_o i_o shall_v ask_v you_o whither_o you_o believe_v in_o christ_n or_o no_o the_o question_n will_v seem_v very_o absurd_a for_o there_o be_v no_o man_n that_o make_v any_o doubt_n of_o that_o matter_n for_o why_o there_o be_v none_o that_o will_v not_o say_v he_o beléeve_v in_o christ_n but_o if_o i_o shall_v demand_v of_o any_o whither_o do_v the_o sign_n that_o be_v here_o mention_v of_o christ_n follow_v thy_o faith_n do_v thou_o heal_v the_o sick_a do_v thou_o speak_v with_o new_a tongue_n what_o answer_n will_v he_o make_v here_o for_o the_o word_n of_o christ_n be_v plain_a these_o sign_n say_v he_o shall_v follow_v they_o that_o believe_v neither_o do_v christ_n lie_v neither_o will_v he_o be_v find_v false_a if_o thou_o beleve_v true_o and_o indeed_o these_o must_v follow_v thy_o faith_n but_o if_o not_o thou_o suppose_v thou_o beléeve_v in_o christ_n and_o yet_o do_v not_o believe_v here_o than_o thou_o see_v that_o virtue_n or_o power_n of_o faith_n which_o be_v the_o life_n or_o spirit_n of_o faith_n to_o be_v want_v in_o thou_o and_o therefore_o thy_o faith_n be_v dead_a but_o miracle_n be_v cease_v neither_o be_v they_o require_v any_o more_o thou_o say_v well_o those_o corporal_a miracle_n be_v cease_v either_o for_o man_n unbelief_n or_o for_o that_o they_o be_v appoint_v only_o to_o those_o first_o time_n of_o the_o church_n notwithstanding_o thy_o faith_n must_v not_o want_v virtue_n for_o if_o it_o do_v it_o be_v dead_a there_o be_v then_o even_o at_o this_o time_n also_o other_o miracle_n in_o the_o work_v whereof_o our_o faith_n must_v exercise_v her_o power_n if_o it_o be_v true_a and_o lively_a there_o be_v many_o devil_n still_o in_o we_o which_o be_v to_o be_v cast_v out_o if_o we_o will_v have_v christ_n to_o dwell_v in_o we_o the_o devil_n i_o say_v of_o covetousness_n ambition_n envy_n evil_o speak_v revengement_n and_o such_o other_o lust_n of_o the_o flesh_n which_o fight_v against_o the_o soul_n from_o the_o which_o if_o thou_o be_v once_o free_a thou_o shall_v afterward_o lay_v thy_o hand_n upon_o other_o and_o they_o shall_v be_v whole_a that_o be_v thou_o shall_v teach_v they_o the_o true_a knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o of_o christ_n and_o they_o shall_v be_v free_v from_o the_o error_n &_o vanity_n of_o this_o world_n they_o shall_v speak_v also_o with_o new_a tongue_n that_o be_v to_o say_v where_o before_o they_o be_v blasphemer_n and_o all_o their_o word_n vain_a and_o unprofitable_a nay_o hurtful_a and_o pestilent_a now_o as_o though_o they_o be_v endue_v with_o a_o new_a tongue_n they_o shall_v speak_v nothing_o which_o shall_v not_o be_v refer_v to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o the_o profit_n and_o salvation_n of_o man_n and_o this_o be_v to_o speak_v with_o new_a tongue_n and_o thus_o if_o we_o be_v dispose_v and_o affect_v although_o we_o shall_v drink_v any_o deadly_a thing_n yet_o shall_v we_o not_o be_v hurt_v by_o it_o for_o why_o neither_o shall_v the_o world_n nor_o the_o flesh_n with_o the_o lust_n thereof_o no_o nor_o satan_n himself_o rise_v up_o against_o we_o be_v ever_o able_a to_o thrust_v we_o down_o from_o this_o good_a and_o happy_a estate_n and_o all_o because_o we_o shall_v cleave_v fast_o unto_o god_n by_o this_o true_a and_o lively_a faith_n yea_o we_o shall_v be_v one_o with_o he_o through_o christ_n now_o may_v everye_o one_o prove_v himself_o and_o weigh_v and_o consider_v with_o himself_o whither_o he_o have_v a_o live_a faith_n that_o be_v to_o say_v whither_o he_o cast_v these_o devil_n first_o out_n of_o himself_o and_o second_o out_o of_o other_o for_o except_o we_o do_v this_o we_o deceive_v ourselves_o and_o have_v not_o that_o faith_n indeed_o which_o may_v join_v and_o couple_v we_o with_o christ_n for_o why_o this_o power_n or_o virtue_n be_v of_o the_o nature_n and_o substance_n of_o true_a faith_n for_o with_o out_o this_o it_o be_v dead_a so_o that_o like_z as_o if_o the_o soul_n or_o spirit_n shall_v return_v again_o into_o a_o dead_a body_n that_o be_v go_v to_o the_o grave_n the_o same_o will_v immediate_o wax_v hot_a stir_v move_v and_o do_v all_o other_o humane_a action_n and_o man_n will_v marvel_v at_o so_o great_a a_o miracle_n even_o so_o likewise_o if_o that_o dead_a faith_n whereby_o a_o man_n profess_v himself_o to_o know_v god_n and_o christ_n have_v this_o new_a virtue_n adjoin_v to_o it_o the_o man_n shall_v begin_v forthwith_o to_o flame_n with_o a_o divine_a love_n and_o that_o so_o fervent_o that_o he_o shall_v frame_v himself_o whole_o to_o the_o obedience_n of_o god_n and_o shall_v choose_v rather_o that_o his_o will_n may_v be_v do_v in_o he_o and_o by_o he_o than_o his_o own_o he_o shall_v trust_v in_o he_o and_o stay_v whole_o upon_o he_o and_o if_o it_o be_v so_o that_o he_o must_v suffer_v even_o extreme_a torment_n pain_n for_o his_o glory_n sake_n that_o be_v either_o loss_n of_o good_n or_o honour_n or_o credit_n yea_o or_o life_n itself_o he_o shall_v willing_o and_o glad_o do_v it_o and_o as_o touch_v his_o neighbour_n by_o the_o name_n of_o neighbour_n all_o man_n be_v understand_v he_o shall_v love_v they_o no_o less_o than_o himself_o and_o that_o not_o with_o a_o humane_a affection_n only_o but_o with_o a_o heavenlye_a for_o god_n cause_n who_o
