these_o sacrament_n be_v say_v to_o be_v the_o same_o with_o we_o to_o wit_n not_o in_o the_o sign_n but_o in_o the_o spiritual_a thing_n signify_v which_o be_v the_o soul_n and_o essence_n of_o a_o sacrament_n we_o come_v now_o to_o such_o observation_n as_o these_o word_n and_o explication_n will_v afford_v we_o the_o first_o whereof_o be_v 〈◊〉_d that_o if_o the_o seal_n and_o sacrament_n be_v and_o what_o be_v the_o kind_n thereof_o a_o covenant_n be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o bargain_n between_o god_n and_o man_n wherein_o god_n promise_v some_o spiritual_a good_a to_o we_o so_o we_o with_o the_o israelite_n when_o the_o law_n be_v give_v in_o horeb_n as_o moses_n say_v deut._n 5._o 2._o the_o lord_n god_n make_v a_o covenant_n with_o we_o in_o horeb._n law_n for_o all_o the_o time_n under_o the_o law_n the_o open_a and_o apparent_a covenant_n be_v the_o covenant_n of_o work_n to_o make_v they_o the_o more_o to_o see_v their_o own_o misery_n and_o condemnation_n and_o so_o both_o condition_n as_o well_o in_o one_o as_o the_o other_o only_o the_o difference_n be_v that_o in_o the_o one_o condition_n they_o be_v in_o the_o state_n of_o servant_n under_o tutor_n and_o governor_n in_o the_o other_o they_o enjoy_v the_o freedom_n of_o son_n so_o the_o faithful_a in_o the_o law_n enjoy_v the_o same_o covenant_n of_o grace_n with_o we_o but_o under_o the_o bondage_n of_o worldly_a element_n but_o we_o now_o have_v the_o same_o in_o a_o state_n of_o freedom_n as_o not_o hold_v under_o such_o burdensome_a element_n and_o pedagogy_n as_o they_o be_v but_o
