and_o the_o exposition_n thereof_o be_v at_o one_o and_o the_o same_o time_n both_o together_o in_o view_n as_o it_o be_v there_o no_o man_n can_v be_v ignorant_a that_o the_o exposition_n be_v the_o word_n of_o man_n so_o that_o he_o may_v reject_v it_o in_o case_n it_o seem_v impertinent_a and_o look_v by_o what_o mean_v a_o man_n may_v hinder_v the_o doctrine_n of_o religion_n from_o be_v gospel_n be_v as_o it_o be_v revive_v yet_o ought_v not_o any_o man_n thus_o to_o think_v that_o he_o ought_v to_o examine_v whether_o the_o gospel_n have_v lose_v any_o of_o that_o purity_n that_o both_o the_o read_n of_o the_o scripture_n and_o the_o care_n of_o religion_n belong_v not_o to_o the_o pastor_n of_o the_o church_n only_o but_o that_o every_o one_o that_o will_v be_v save_v aught_o to_o make_v diligent_a search_n whether_o any_o corruption_n be_v already_o or_o be_v for_o the_o future_a like_a to_o be_v introduce_v and_o this_o to_o do_v no_o less_o careful_o then_o if_o he_o be_v persuade_v that_o all_o beside_o himself_o be_v asleep_a and_o whatsoever_o be_v wont_a to_o take_v the_o common_a people_n off_o from_o such_o study_n care_n must_v be_v take_v that_o thou_o that_o be_v the_o teacher_n of_o the_o people_n be_v not_o thou_o also_o thyself_o make_v of_o the_o same_o mould_n be_v not_o thou_o bear_v in_o the_o same_o age_n inasmuch_o as_o this_o ordinance_n principal_o be_v intend_v to_o keep_v pastor_n within_o the_o bound_n of_o modesty_n that_o they_o may_v understand_v that_o they_o be_v not_o the_o author_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n that_o they_o have_v not_o alone_o receive_v the_o spirit_n by_o how_o much_o the_o more_o mankind_n have_v degenerate_v by_o so_o much_o the_o great_a need_n be_v there_o thereof_o for_o that_o there_o be_v now_o more_o rashness_n arrogance_n pride_n then_o of_o old_a this_o be_v true_a as_o well_o of_o the_o pastor_n and_o teacher_n as_o of_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o people_n be_v thou_o a_o prophet_n have_v thou_o any_o
portion_n of_o the_o spirit_n if_o thou_o have_v not_o so_o unfit_v it_o be_v that_o thou_o alone_o shall_v speak_v in_o the_o congregation_n that_o there_o will_v hardly_o be_v find_v any_o that_o desire_v rather_o to_o be_v silence_v than_o thyself_o but_o if_o thou_o be_v a_o prophet_n if_o thou_o have_v the_o spirit_n mark_v what_o the_o apostle_n say_v acknowledge_v quoth_v he_o that_o those_o thing_n which_o i_o write_v be_v the_o commandment_n of_o the_o lord_n go_v to_o then_o on_o the_o one_o side_n we_o have_v the_o judgement_n of_o our_o lord_n will_v that_o prophecy_n for_o peradventure_o a_o absurd_a thing_n that_o after_o some_o very_a learned_a person_n have_v speak_v some_o contemptible_a person_n shall_v be_v allow_v to_o contradict_v he_o can_v such_o a_o person_n so_o do_v without_o great_a rashness_n and_o temerity_n be_v i_o to_o speak_v according_a to_o the_o judgement_n of_o man_n very_o i_o can_v not_o deny_v it_o but_o if_o we_o be_v real_o persuade_v that_o the_o knowledge_n of_o matter_n divine_a ought_v not_o to_o be_v attribute_v to_o our_o watch_n study_n wit_n but_o to_o god_n and_o to_o his_o spirit_n wherewith_o he_o can_v in_o a_o moment_n endue_v the_o simple_a person_n in_o the_o world_n and_o that_o with_o no_o more_o labour_n or_o difficulty_n then_o if_o he_o be_v to_o give_v he_o unto_o one_o that_o have_v spend_v nestor_n age_n watch_n and_o the_o wit_n of_o man_n and_o if_o this_o be_v thy_o judgement_n i_o tell_v thou_o again_o that_o thou_o be_v not_o only_o unworthy_a to_o be_v the_o sole_a speaker_n but_o worthy_a or_o wit_n but_o unto_o himself_o but_o if_o the_o man_n that_o have_v spend_v all_o his_o life_n in_o study_n speak_v wise_o it_o be_v not_o attribute_v to_o god_n but_o to_o study_v in_o word_n perhaps_o it_o may_v be_v attribute_v to_o god_n yet_o not_o without_o a_o vehement_a reluctancy_n of_o our_o judgement_n and_o this_o be_v that_o which_o i_o say_v god_n will_v not_o abide_v but_o
