deliver_v more_o excellent_a thing_n concern_v his_o will_n and_o counsel_n then_o at_o other_o time_n and_o as_o the_o sabbath_n give_v commendation_n and_o credit_n and_o authority_n unto_o the_o revelation_n so_o this_o revelation_n also_o give_v authority_n to_o the_o sabbath_n and_o first_o john_n begin_v with_o a_o salutation_n that_o it_o may_v draw_v attention_n and_o be_v the_o more_o accept_v of_o the_o hearer_n in_o the_o salutation_n he_o wish_v grace_n and_o peace_n from_o the_o father_n the_o son_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n the_o father_n be_v set_v out_o to_o be_v he_o crystal_n whereby_o seem_v to_o be_v mean_v the_o earthly_a creature_n and_o all_o thing_n in_o this_o present_a world_n compare_v to_o a_o sea_n because_o of_o the_o unconstancy_n of_o they_o liken_v to_o crystal_n because_o god_n see_v clear_o into_o they_o and_o through_o they_o for_o as_o one_o may_v see_v easy_o into_o glass_n and_o crystal_n so_o these_o be_v evident_o see_v and_o discern_v of_o god_n as_o be_v continual_o in_o his_o sight_n and_o presence_n have_v be_v make_v by_o he_o and_o be_v govern_v by_o he_o after_o the_o four_o beast_n be_v say_v to_o fall_v down_o and_o praise_v he_o day_n and_o night_n for_o all_o his_o power_n glory_n and_o majesty_n and_o especial_o as_o it_o seem_v for_o those_o thunder_n that_o be_v for_o those_o judgement_n to_o be_v execute_v on_o the_o world_n acknowledge_v that_o they_o be_v just_a and_o right_o and_o albeit_o they_o be_v seal_v up_o as_o appear_v in_o the_o next_o chapter_n yet_o by_o these_o thunderclap_n of_o god_n anger_n they_o can_v understand_v that_o there_o be_v judgement_n to_o come_v the_o like_a be_v in_o esay_n the_o six_o chapter_n where_o the_o angel_n also_o glorify_v god_n for_o his_o judgement_n and_o albeit_o it_o may_v seem_v to_o man_n to_o be_v a_o very_a hard_a and_o grievous_a thing_n that_o god_n shall_v harden_v the_o heart_n of_o the_o people_n to_o the_o end_n he_o may_v more_o to_o receive_v this_o honour_n as_o to_o have_v the_o book_n and_o to_o open_v it_o and_o as_o the_o four_o beast_n be_v principal_a of_o the_o angel_n and_o the_o archangel_n begin_v so_o also_o the_o elder_n which_o be_v the_o principal_a of_o the_o church_n do_v join_v with_o they_o in_o praise_v christ_n and_o after_o as_o the_o chief_a of_o the_o angel_n and_o of_o the_o saint_n begin_v so_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o angel_n follow_v even_o thousand_o thousand_o viz._n all_o the_o other_o angel_n and_o in_o their_o song_n they_o praise_v the_o lamb_n attribute_v to_o he_o all_o power_n and_o riches_n and_o wisdom_n and_o strength_n which_o be_v cause_n and_o then_o the_o effect_n thereof_o honour_n and_o glory_n and_o praise_v that_o all_o these_o belong_v unto_o he_o then_o follow_v the_o praise_n and_o thanksgiving_n of_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o church_n and_o of_o all_o the_o creature_n which_o praise_n first_o god_n the_o father_n for_o vouchsafe_v to_o give_v the_o book_n unto_o his_o son_n &_o second_o god_n the_o son_n for_o obtain_v it_o at_o his_o father_n hand_n last_o the_o chief_a angel_n the_o four_o and_o twenty_o elder_n be_v bring_v in_o say_n amen_o to_o the_o thanksgiving_n of_o the_o inferior_a angel_n and_o of_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o creature_n as_o they_o begin_v the_o chapter_n so_o they_o as_o it_o be_v make_v a_o end_n and_o answer_v to_o the_o rest_n in_o praise_n show_v we_o that_o they_o never_o cease_v continual_o to_o sound_v forth_o the_o praise_n of_o god_n apoc._n cap._n 6._o 1_o after_o i_o behold_v when_o the_o lamb_n have_v open_v one_o of_o the_o seal_n and_o i_o hear_v one_o of_o the_o four_o beast_n say_v as_o it_o be_v the_o noise_n of_o thunder_n come_v and_o see_v have_v hear_v before_o in_o the_o former_a chapter_n of_o the_o preparation_n to_o the_o declare_v of_o the_o thing_n to_o come_v he_o now_o speak_v of_o the_o thing_n themselves_o that_o be_v to_o follow_v and_o he_o speak_v of_o they_o as_o of_o great_a mystery_n and_o first_o it_o seem_v in_o this_o chapter_n be_v show_v to_o the_o apostle_n rather_o a_o warning_n what_o thing_n be_v to_o befall_v than_o any_o declaration_n of_o the_o befalling_a of_o those_o judgement_n as_o the_o execution_n of_o the_o thing_n themselves_o set_v down_o in_o the_o eight_o and_o nine_o chapter_n do_v manifest_o declare_v and_o also_o it_o appear_v because_o in_o the_o seven_o chapter_n as_o it_o be_v familiar_a with_o the_o scripture_n before_o the_o thing_n do_v come_v he_o show_v matter_n of_o comfort_n to_o the_o child_n of_o god_n to_o prepare_v &_o arm_v they_o against_o those_o judgement_n to_o be_v execute_v so_o here_o in_o this_o chapter_n be_v contain_v a_o denunciation_n of_o the_o judgement_n to_o come_v to_o pass_v on_o the_o wicked_a unless_o there_o be_v speedy_a repentance_n as_o in_o the_o next_o chapter_n a_o consolation_n to_o arm_v and_o strengthen_v the_o godly_a in_o that_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v touch_v nor_o hurt_v with_o these_o judgement_n and_o then_o last_o of_o all_o follow_v in_o the_o eight_o and_o nine_o chapter_n the_o declaration_n of_o the_o very_a execution_n of_o the_o judgement_n themselves_o in_o that_o he_o say_v he_o hear_v one_o of_o the_o four_o beast_n speak_v to_o he_o as_o it_o be_v with_o the_o noise_n of_o a_o thunder_n it_o show_v that_o though_o it_o be_v in_o the_o same_o vision_n yet_o he_o be_v fain_o to_o be_v raise_v up_o by_o this_o mighty_a voice_n of_o the_o angel_n so_o that_o one_o stir_v up_o be_v not_o sufficient_a which_o teach_v we_o that_o in_o the_o same_o sermon_n we_o be_v often_o to_o be_v raise_v up_o if_o not_o by_o the_o angel_n that_o be_v by_o the_o minister_n yet_o by_o ourselves_o we_o be_v as_o it_o be_v to_o renew_v our_o attention_n to_o receive_v instruction_n reproof_n correction_n or_o any_o other_o thing_n which_o the_o lord_n will_v have_v we_o to_o know_v come_v and_o see_v that_o be_v attend_v diligent_o and_o careful_o with_o great_a attention_n not_o only_o exhort_v he_o to_o continuance_n but_o also_o to_o hear_v more_o fruitful_o and_o profitable_o after_o that_o the_o first_o seal_n be_v open_v by_o the_o lamb_n christ_n the_o apostle_n saint_n john_n say_v he_o see_v a_o white_a horse_n and_o a_o man_n sit_v thereon_o in_o that_o he_o be_v say_v to_o sit_v on_o a_o white_a horse_n and_o to_o have_v a_o crown_n give_v he_o it_o note_v victory_n by_o the_o man_n be_v understand_v the_o minister_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n christ_n jesus_n send_v forth_o to_o declare_v the_o judgement_n of_o god_n to_o come_v upon_o the_o wicked_a for_o the_o neglect_n of_o the_o word_n and_o whereas_o it_o be_v say_v for_o victory_n it_o signifi_v that_o the_o judgement_n which_o they_o threaten_v shall_v have_v event_n unless_o they_o repent_v speedy_o the_o bow_n which_o he_o have_v signify_v the_o easiness_n of_o the_o
against_o they_o god_n be_v therefore_o with_o they_o on_o their_o side_n to_o defend_v they_o and_o take_v their_o part_n and_o to_o the_o end_n they_o may_v be_v the_o more_o confirm_v hereof_o he_o comfort_v they_o with_o a_o argument_n draw_v from_o the_o hope_n of_o their_o resurrection_n that_o howsoever_o here_o in_o this_o life_n they_o shall_v be_v persecute_v and_o shall_v suffer_v even_o until_o death_n yet_o they_o persevere_v unto_o the_o end_n shall_v not_o be_v hurt_v at_o all_o with_o the_o latter_a death_n and_o for_o this_o cause_n also_o he_o use_v in_o the_o title_n a_o argument_n draw_v from_o his_o own_o person_n in_o that_o he_o be_v first_o and_o last_o and_o therefore_o able_a to_o deliver_v they_o as_o also_o that_o he_o be_v dead_a and_o be_v alive_a and_o put_v to_o his_o trial_n if_o he_o be_v find_v clear_a he_o have_v a_o white_a stone_n give_v he_o if_o otherwise_o he_o be_v find_v guilty_a and_o be_v to_o be_v condemn_v he_o have_v give_v he_o a_o black_a stone_n or_o some_o other_o colour_n so_o that_o now_o in_o that_o it_o be_v say_v that_o he_o which_o overcom_v shall_v have_v a_o white_a stone_n give_v he_o he_o mean_v that_o he_o shall_v have_v nothing_o lay_v to_o his_o charge_n but_o shall_v be_v free_v from_o all_o his_o sin_n verse_n 18._o last_o he_o come_v to_o the_o church_n of_o thyatira_n where_o he_o find_v many_o good_a be_v filthy_a abominable_a and_o detestable_a therefore_o the_o lord_n will_v execute_v judgement_n upon_o they_o and_o he_o will_v do_v it_o upon_o the_o transgressor_n themselves_o but_o as_o for_o the_o church_n albeit_o they_o have_v thus_o suffer_v they_o yet_o he_o will_v not_o punish_v they_o after_o this_o sort_n but_o he_o will_v hereby_o namely_o by_o the_o punishment_n inflict_v on_o the_o evil_a doer_n be_v content_a to_o call_v they_o to_o repentance_n for_o that_o sin_n of_o they_o in_o suffer_v they_o verse_n 26._o last_o he_o say_v to_o those_o that_o overcome_v he_o will_v give_v authority_n first_o to_o be_v king_n over_o the_o gentile_n and_o to_o bear_v rule_n over_o the_o wicked_a and_o to_o subdue_v they_o be_v join_v with_o christ_n in_o his_o kingdom_n and_o
