great_a affliction_n her_o daughter_n be_v vex_v with_o a_o dwil_n the_o lord_n sanctify_v that_o affliction_n to_o humble_v she_o and_o she_o also_o meet_v with_o great_a temptation_n three_o sore_a temptation_n but_o she_o will_v have_v fly_v in_o the_o face_n of_o christ_n christ_n call_v her_o dog_n and_o tell_v she_o that_o it_o be_v not_o meet_v to_o take_v the_o child_n bread_n and_o give_v it_o to_o dog_n if_o her_o heart_n have_v not_o be_v humble_a she_o will_v have_v discover_v herself_o to_o have_v be_v a_o dog_n she_o will_v have_v bark_v against_o he_o but_o she_o carry_v it_o very_o gracious_o and_o in_o all_o that_o christ_n speak_v justify_v he_o truth_n lord._n o_o that_o we_o may_v go_v to_o the_o lord_n and_o beg_v of_o god_n that_o he_o will_v give_v out_o more_o of_o this_o grace_n of_o humility_n to_o we_o a_o proud_a heart_n will_v never_o justify_v god_n when_o he_o speak_v himself_o or_o when_o he_o suffer_v man_n to_o speak_v a_o proud_a heart_n will_v never_o take_v a_o repulse_n from_o god_n nor_o reproof_n from_o man_n o_o there_o be_v need_n of_o the_o grace_n of_o humility_n that_o will_v enable_v a_o soul_n to_o justify_v the_o lord_n in_o they_o too_o the_o day_n of_o conversion_n and_o return_v to_o god_n be_v the_o first_o of_o all_o good_a day_n the_o daybreak_n of_o eternity_n he_o therefore_o double_v his_o exhortation_n to_o they_o and_o he_o begin_v in_o chap._n 11._o verse_n 9_o there_o he_o give_v one_o warn_v piece_n to_o young_a man_n rejoice_v o_o young_a man_n in_o thy_o youth_n and_o let_v thy_o heart_n cheer_v work_n and_o therefore_o now_o remember_v thy_o creator_n and_o there_o be_v another_o evil_a day_n that_o he_o speak_v of_o in_o verse_n 7._o and_o that_o be_v the_o day_n of_o death_n then_o shalâ—_n the_o dust_n return_n to_o the_o earth_n as_o it_o be_v and_o the_o spirit_n shall_v return_v unto_o god_n who_o give_v it_o therefore_o consider_v all_o this_o i_o counsel_v thou_o to_o remember_v thy_o creator_n in_o the_o day_n of_o thy_o youth_n the_o proposition_n or_o doctrine_n than_o be_v this_o that_o it_o be_v the_o duty_n of_o all_o the_o child_n of_o man_n doctr._n to_o seek_v after_o god_n in_o the_o day_n of_o youth_n therefore_o the_o scripture_n take_v notice_n of_o some_o of_o the_o servant_n of_o god_n and_o set_v they_o forth_o as_o pattern_n and_o example_n that_o every_o man_n shall_v remember_v god_n in_o the_o day_n of_o his_o youth_n the_o scripture_n take_v notice_n of_o some_o good_a thing_n that_o be_v find_v in_o jeroboam_n child_n 1_o king_n 14._o 12_o 13._o arise_v thou_o therefore_o get_v thou_o to_o thy_o own_o house_n and_o when_o thy_o foot_n enter_v into_o the_o city_n the_o child_n shall_v die_v and_o all_o israel_n shall_v mourn_v for_o he_o and_o bury_v he_o for_o he_o only_o of_o jeroboam_n shall_v come_v to_o the_o grave_n because_o in_o he_o there_o be_v find_v some_o good_a thing_n towards_o the_o lord_n god_n of_o israel_n in_o the_o house_n of_o jeroboam_n in_o all_o the_o family_n there_o be_v but_o one_o good_a child_n and_o there_o be_v notice_n take_v of_o he_o and_o the_o lord_n think_v of_o he_o in_o mercy_n that_o he_o do_v not_o see_v the_o evil_a that_o come_v upon_o his_o father_n house_n the_o scripture_n take_v notice_n also_o of_o josiah_n in_o 2_o chron._n 34._o 3._o for_o in_o the_o eight_o year_n of_o his_o reign_n while_o he_o be_v yet_o young_a he_o begin_v to_o seek_v after_o the_o god_n of_o david_n his_o father_n he_o be_v but_o sixteen_o year_n old_a and_o yet_o then_o do_v he_o seek_v after_o the_o god_n of_o david_n his_o father_n and_o david_n he_o tell_v we_o he_o trust_v in_o god_n from_o his_o youth_n psal_n 71._o 5._o for_o thou_o be_v my_o hope_n o_o lord_n god_n thou_o be_v my_o trust_n from_o my_o youth_n and_o o_o that_o young_a man_n will_v look_v upon_o these_o pattern_n wherefore_o do_v god_n take_v notice_n of_o they_o and_o wherefore_o be_v they_o record_v in_o scripture_n but_o that_o young_a man_n may_v make_v they_o pattern_n and_o tread_v in_o their_o step_n to_o remember_v their_o creator_n â—in_v the_o day_n of_o their_o youth_n but_o in_o the_o open_n of_o the_o point_n i_o shall_v first_o show_v you_o what_o it_o be_v to_o remember_v god_n second_o show_v you_o what_o cause_n all_o man_n have_v to_o remember_v god_n three_o what_o advantage_n it_o be_v to_o remember_v god_n in_o youth_n four_o make_v some_o improvement_n first_o what_o be_v it_o to_o remember_v god_n first_o god_n to_o remember_v god_n be_v to_o know_v god_n knowledge_n be_v the_o begin_n of_o remembrance_n there_o be_v no_o man_n can_v remember_v that_o which_o he_o do_v not_o know_v therefore_o that_o man_n that_o be_v ignorant_a of_o god_n he_o do_v not_o remember_v god_n neither_o can_v he_o because_o he_o do_v not_o know_v god_n so_o then_o when_o solomon_n say_v remember_v thy_o creator_n in_o the_o day_n 〈◊〉_d thy_o youth_n it_o be_v as_o much_o as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v betimes_o seek_v after_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n to_o know_v he_o as_o he_o be_v in_o himself_o and_o as_o he_o be_v in_o his_o son_n to_o know_v he_o for_o your_o god_n and_o your_o portion_n and_o your_o inheritance_n and_o your_o saviour_n where_o there_o be_v no_o knowledge_n of_o god_n there_o be_v no_o remember_v of_o god_n therefore_o the_o prophet_n isaiah_n dotâ—_n press_v man_n to_o seek_v after_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o in_o the_o
