people_n he_o do_v teach_v we_o that_o the_o give_a occasion_n to_o wicked_a one_o to_o crow_n against_o his_o people_n and_o himself_o their_o god_n be_v a_o dishonour_n of_o his_o majesty_n and_o therefore_o here_o we_o pray_v it_o may_v be_v prevent_v yet_o if_o it_o so_o fall_v out_o that_o the_o state_n of_o god_n people_n be_v incorrigible_a and_o they_o will_v not_o be_v reclaim_v from_o a_o thing_n it_o be_v that_o god_n shall_v have_v his_o glory_n for_o to_o this_o end_n all_o thing_n be_v make_v we_o live_v move_v and_o have_v be_v from_o he_o to_o no_o other_o purpose_n second_o though_o this_o be_v so_o necessary_a yet_o how_o little_a god_n be_v honour_v by_o we_o who_o be_v his_o he_o pass_v by_o we_o in_o many_o part_n of_o his_o providence_n we_o not_o see_v he_o nor_o take_v any_o heed_n to_o he_o in_o the_o thing_n we_o do_v see_v not_o affect_v with_o fear_n joy_n thankfulness_n as_o they_o require_v little_o think_v on_o he_o not_o speak_v of_o he_o to_o his_o three_o we_o must_v consider_v how_o our_o heart_n be_v so_o poison_v with_o love_n of_o our_o own_o name_n estimation_n &_o that_o glory_n which_o be_v from_o man_n that_o we_o be_v altogether_o careless_a of_o god_n glory_n hence_o it_o be_v that_o if_o we_o circumstantial_o so_o fail_v that_o it_o crase_v our_o reputation_n in_o any_o kind_n with_o man_n it_o do_v sting_v we_o but_o when_o we_o fault_n towards_o god_n we_o pass_v it_o over_o well_o enough_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o if_o one_o put_v the_o least_o contemptuous_a behaviour_n upon_o we_o use_v a_o term_n of_o any_o disgrace_n it_o do_v kindle_v cool_v present_o but_o we_o can_v hear_v god_n name_v dishonour_v and_o not_o be_v affect_v and_o move_v with_o it_o we_o have_v need_v therefore_o to_o pray_v unto_o god_n that_o he_o will_v heal_v this_o matter_n four_o to_o mark_v how_o fearful_o with_o wicked_a one_o not_o yet_o call_v god_n name_n be_v profane_v do_v it_o not_o pity_v we_o when_o we_o hear_v that_o our_o friend_n have_v such_o servant_n as_o do_v twenty_o dishonest_a part_n which_o will_v redound_v to_o their_o discredit_n do_v we_o see_v their_o give_a no_o regard_n to_o their_o master_n must_v labour_v therefore_o to_o be_v cast_v down_o in_o the_o sense_n of_o our_o misery_n be_v we_o guilty_a of_o fault_n for_o which_o the_o law_n of_o man_n will_v severe_o punish_v we_o how_o will_v it_o go_v near_o we_o for_o our_o breach_n of_o god_n law_n we_o take_v no_o care_n if_o we_o have_v lose_v little_a thing_n on_o the_o earth_n we_o grieve_v but_o to_o be_v cast_v out_o of_o with_o our_o eye_n of_o faith_n what_o shall_v we_o do_v that_o we_o may_v be_v save_v believe_v say_v s._n paul_n for_o as_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o that_o there_o be_v a_o physician_n which_o have_v a_o medicine_n ready_a for_o this_o or_o that_o grief_n but_o the_o patient_n must_v go_v to_o he_o and_o take_v it_o and_o as_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o for_o we_o be_v hungry_a to_o see_v and_o know_v that_o there_o be_v bread_n but_o we_o must_v eat_v it_o if_o we_o will_v have_v fruit_n by_o the_o one_o or_o other_o so_o in_o christ_n we_o must_v come_v to_o he_o by_o faith_n feed_v upon_o he_o in_o our_o heart_n by_o unfeigned_a belief_n before_o he_o will_v profit_v we_o any_o thing_n wherefore_o let_v we_o not_o content_v ourselves_o with_o the_o papist_n faith_n which_o confess_v that_o there_o be_v a_o christ_n the_o son_n of_o god_n but_o do_v not_o lay_v hold_n on_o he_o as_o their_o saviour_n this_o be_v a_o historical_a faith_n which_o let_v christ_n hang_v in_o the_o air_n do_v not_o bring_v he_o to_o dwell_v in_o the_o heart_n we_o must_v say_v with_o thomas_n my_o lord_n and_o my_o god_n with_o paul_n galat._n 2.20_o who_o have_v love_v i_o &_o give_v himself_o for_o i_o for_o plaster_n must_v be_v spread_v on_o the_o sore_a and_o medicine_n take_v before_o the_o patient_n can_v be_v amend_v three_o observe_v that_o faith_n only_o be_v it_o which_o be_v say_v only_o to_o save_v us._n faith_n justify_v do_v believe_v the_o story_n of_o the_o bible_n the_o threaten_n of_o god_n yea_o may_n upon_o some_o particular_a word_n by_o instinct_n or_o otherwise_o come_v to_o we_o work_v a_o miracle_n but_o it_o do_v not_o justify_v and_o save_v we_o but_o only_o as_o it_o look_v to_o christ_n who_o be_v the_o righteousness_n and_o the_o salvation_n of_o our_o god_n not_o as_o believe_v other_o thing_n as_o a_o reasonable_a soul_n in_o man_n do_v bring_v forth_o sense_n and_o motion_n do_v concoct_v expel_v do_v exercise_n animal_n sensitive_a and_o natural_a function_n in_o the_o body_n yet_o it_o be_v not_o reasonable_a as_o it_o do_v these_o thing_n but_o as_o it_o conceive_v of_o thing_n simple_a or_o otherwise_o discourse_v and_o in_o this_o respect_n only_o it_o be_v say_v to_o save_v we_o because_o that_o it_o lay_v hold_v on_o christ_n our_o saviour_n so_o that_o the_o meaning_n of_o this_o faith_n save_v we_o be_v christ_n apprehend_v by_o faith_n do_v save_o us._n whence_o rom._n 3.9_o and_o act._n 3.9_o these_o phrase_n be_v make_v aequivalent_fw-la to_o be_v justify_v by_o christ_n and_o by_o faith_n to_o be_v heal_v by_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n and_o faith_n in_o his_o name_n as_o if_o one_o shall_v say_v this_o pot_n of_o money_n make_v i_o a_o rich_a man_n we_o will_v not_o think_v the_o pot_n make_v he_o rich_a but_o the_o treasure_n in_o it_o so_o when_o faith_n be_v say_v to_o save_v it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v mean_v that_o the_o act_n of_o believe_v absolute_o consider_v do_v save_o we_o but_o respective_o in_o regard_n of_o christ_n our_o saviour_n who_o faith_n hold_v wherefore_o let_v we_o only_o hold_v christ_n as_o beside_o who_o we_o lack_v nothing_o full_o to_o save_v us._n this_o make_v the_o devil_n as_o he_o labour_v against_o faith_n so_o he_o seek_v to_o corrupt_v man_n in_o rest_v only_o upon_o christ_n hence_o he_o teach_v they_o to_o trust_v on_o their_o good_a prayer_n
