afflict_v his_o church_n and_o to_o be_v his_o rod_n to_o scourge_v his_o people_n either_o for_o their_o sin_n by_o way_n of_o sharp_a correction_n or_o for_o trial_n of_o their_o faith_n and_o patience_n yet_o he_o never_o leave_v they_o in_o their_o hand_n to_o feel_v their_o worst_a nor_o give_v they_o to_o their_o lust_n rage_n and_o fury_n to_o be_v devour_v and_o swallow_v up_o of_o they_o or_o to_o be_v put_v to_o sense_n and_o feeling_n of_o pain_n intolerable_a three_o though_o the_o cruel_a enemy_n of_o god_n church_n and_o persecutor_n of_o his_o people_n may_v proceed_v so_o far_o as_o to_o kill_v their_o body_n with_o sense_n of_o outward_a torment_n and_o violence_n do_v to_o the_o flesh_n yet_o they_o shall_v never_o reach_v to_o their_o soul_n and_o spirit_n enemy_n against_o his_o people_n so_o that_o they_o do_v not_o feel_v it_o neither_o do_v it_o touch_v they_o at_o all_o it_o be_v plain_o affirm_v psalm_n 91.2_o 3._o where_o it_o be_v say_v of_o they_o that_o trust_v in_o the_o lord_n and_o make_v he_o their_o refuge_n that_o he_o will_v deliver_v they_o from_o the_o snare_n of_o the_o fowler_n and_o from_o all_o other_o evil_n which_o be_v
