our_o wit_n and_o therefore_o we_o shall_v labour_v to_o quit_v our_o heart_n and_o account_v of_o it_o a_o great_a favour_n from_o god_n when_o the_o michal_n of_o this_o world_n scoff_n at_o we_o for_o our_o goodness_n for_o when_o they_o be_v offend_v at_o we_o god_n be_v delight_v with_o we_o to_o discern_v of_o our_o estate_n in_o grace_n let_v we_o chief_o look_v to_o our_o affection_n by_o his_o spirit_n according_a to_o his_o word_n and_o unto_o his_o glory_n and_o if_o we_o thus_o labour_v to_o approve_v ourselves_o to_o he_o whatsoever_o be_v the_o issue_n we_o shall_v be_v endue_v with_o a_o holy_a boldness_n with_o inward_a peace_n and_o comfort_n have_v carry_v ourselves_o as_o in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n that_o a_o man_n may_v be_v fit_a to_o persuade_v other_o he_o must_v have_v love_n to_o their_o person_n a_o clear_a knowledge_n of_o the_o cause_n and_o grace_n that_o he_o may_v be_v able_a to_o speak_v in_o wisdom_n to_o their_o soul_n and_o conscience_n there_o be_v many_o that_o will_v give_v some_o way_n to_o divine_a truth_n but_o they_o have_v a_o reservation_n of_o some_o sin_n when_o herodias_n be_v once_o touch_v than_o john_n baptist_n head_n must_v off_o such_o truth_n as_o come_v near_o make_v they_o fret_v because_o their_o conscience_n tell_v they_o they_o can_v yield_v obedience_n to_o all_o the_o lust_n of_o some_o sin_n have_v get_v such_o domination_n over_o their_o affection_n that_o the_o conscience_n say_v i_o can_v do_v this_o and_o then_o that_o hatred_n that_o shall_v be_v turn_v upon_o the_o sin_n be_v turn_v upon_o the_o because_o we_o think_v we_o have_v strength_n and_o wisdom_n enough_o and_o than_o what_o be_v begin_v in_o selfe-confidence_n be_v end_v in_o shame_n we_o set_v upon_o duty_n in_o our_o own_o pride_n and_o strength_n of_o part_n and_o find_v success_n according_o therefore_o it_o be_v a_o sign_n that_o god_n will_v bless_v our_o endeavour_n when_o out_o of_o the_o sense_n of_o our_o own_o weakness_n we_o water_v our_o business_n with_o prayer_n and_o tear_n it_o be_v not_o sufficient_a for_o a_o christian_n to_o have_v habitual_a grace_n there_o be_v no_o vine_n can_v bring_v forth_o fruit_n without_o the_o influence_n of_o heaven_n though_o it_o be_v root_v so_o we_o can_v bring_v forth_o fruit_n unless_o god_n blow_v upon_o we_o our_o former_a strength_n will_v not_o serve_v when_o a_o new_a temptation_n come_v it_o be_v not_o enough_o to_o have_v grace_n but_o we_o must_v use_v it_o we_o must_v exercise_v our_o faith_n love_n patience_n
