for_o a_o time_n than_o he_o who_o shall_v violent_o take_v such_o sheep_n out_o of_o his_o hand_n for_o a_o time_n but_o this_o be_v blasphemy_n for_o he_o say_v absolute_o himself_o and_o the_o father_n which_o give_v be_v mighty_a to_o wit_n at_o all_o time_n and_o always_o than_o all_o creature_n therefore_o in_o no_o case_n can_v it_o be_v that_o the_o elect_n after_o they_o be_v once_o give_v by_o faith_n into_o the_o save_a hand_n of_o christ_n shall_v be_v take_v out_o of_o his_o hand_n or_o utter_o fail_v from_o he_o so_o also_o have_v bucer_n expound_v this_o place_n again_o say_v he_o it_o be_v to_o be_v observe_v that_o it_o be_v of_o his_o only_a love_n that_o we_o be_v sheep_n and_o do_v follow_v christ_n then_o be_v such_o we_o can_v never_o fall_v away_o for_o that_o the_o father_n and_o son_n be_v one_o and_o have_v the_o same_o hand_n that_o be_v power_n out_o of_o which_o none_o can_v never_o take_v away_o they_o who_o it_o have_v once_o apprehend_v for_o salvation_n and_o they_o be_v apprehend_v to_o whomesoever_o it_o be_v give_v to_o hear_v and_o follow_v the_o voice_n of_o châ—ist_n for_o that_o none_o can_v do_v but_o sheep_n these_o thing_n bucer_n therefore_o as_o well_o out_o of_o the_o word_n and_o argumentation_n of_o christ_n as_o of_o the_o interpretation_n of_o bucer_n and_o also_o that_o particle_n once_o it_o appear_v that_o the_o evasion_n be_v very_o childish_a whereby_o the_o adversary_n strive_v to_o avoid_v all_o these_o place_n by_o quamdiu_fw-la how_o long_o and_o finaliter_fw-la final_o beside_o these_o testimony_n of_o the_o scripture_n in_o the_o old_a and_o new_a testament_n which_o you_o have_v in_o my_o lecture_n these_o also_o which_o i_o have_v now_o allege_v do_v to_o i_o appear_v by_o sufficient_a plainness_n to_o confirm_v this_o doctrine_n of_o the_o perseverance_n of_o saint_n in_o the_o faith_n when_o you_o desire_v i_o will_v produce_v more_o moreover_o that_o you_o may_v understand_v that_o i_o do_v not_o abuse_v scripture_n for_o confirmation_n of_o this_o doctrine_n i_o will_v now_o produce_v both_o testimony_n of_o the_o father_n of_o the_o ancient_a church_n as_o alse_a of_o late_a divine_n whereby_o the_o same_o sentence_n shall_v be_v so_o confirm_v as_o that_o unless_o a_o man_n will_v purpose_v lie_v shut_v his_o eye_n against_o the_o truth_n he_o can_v make_v no_o further_o doubt_v out_o of_o the_o father_n but_o i_o will_v not_o relate_v all_o the_o testimony_n of_o father_n both_o for_o that_o a_o short_a confession_n will_v not_o bear_v it_o and_o for_o that_o you_o have_v many_o in_o my_o praelection_n of_o perseverance_n and_o confirmation_n thereof_o among_o the_o act_n there_o yet_o some_o i_o will_v brief_o remember_v augustine_n grace_n whereby_o he_o have_v power_n to_o persevere_v if_o he_o will_v but_o not_o that_o whereby_o he_o be_v willing_a to_o persevere_v but_o we_o by_o christ_n have_v receive_v grace_n whereby_o we_o have_v will_n to_o persevere_v and_o therefore_o whereby_o we_o doâ—_n persevere_v primo_fw-la itaâ—_n homini_fw-la etc._n etc._n therefore_o to_o the_o first_o man_n who_o in_o that_o good_a whereby_o he_o be_v make_v upright_o he_o receive_v power_n not_o to_o die_v power_n not_o to_o forsake_v that_o good_a be_v give_v assistance_n of_o perseverance_n not_o whereby_o he_o do_v persevere_v but_o without_o which_o through_o free_a will_v he_o have_v not_o ability_n of_o perseverance_n but_o now_o to_o the_o saint_n predestinate_a for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n by_o god_n grace_n not_o only_o such_o assistance_n of_o perseverance_n be_v grant_v but_o such_o as_o that_o perseverance_n itself_o be_v give_v unto_o they_o not_o only_o that_o without_o this_o gift_n they_o can_v but_o persevere_v for_o he_o do_v not_o only_o say_v without_o i_o 15._o john_n 15._o yeâ—_n can_v do_v nothing_o but_o he_o say_v also_o not_o yeâ—_n have_v choose_v i_o but_o i_o you_o and_o â—et_v you_o that_o you_o shall_v go_v and_o bring_v forth_o much_o fruit_n and_o that_o your_o fruit_n shall_v remain_v by_o which_o word_n he_o do_v manifest_a that_o he_o give_v unto_o they_o not_o
