from_o they_o but_o from_o whâ—t_a principle_n these_o do_v flow_v that_o we_o know_v not_o how_o much_o less_o can_v we_o apprehend_v any_o thing_n suitable_a of_o the_o divine_a majesty_n that_o be_v infinite_o above_o we_o from_o these_o wonder_v and_o glorious_a woâ—ks_n of_o his_o power_n and_o wisdom_n man_n be_v endow_v with_o wisdom_n to_o do_v some_o excellent_a work_n of_o aâ—t_n as_o plant_v graâ—â—ing_v building_n paint_v weave_a and_o such_o like_a but_o the_o beast_n that_o aâ—e_o bâ—low_a 〈◊〉_d can_v apprehend_v from_o these_o woâ—ks_n what_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n be_v now_o be_v there_o not_o a_o more_o infinite_a distance_n a_o great_a disproportion_n between_o we_o and_o the_o divine_a nature_n so_o that_o we_o can_v rise_v up_o to_o a_o understand_a notion_n of_o it_o in_o itself_o nay_o beside_o one_o man_n will_v do_v many_o thing_n which_o another_o can_v understand_v he_o behold_v thâ—_n art_n of_o it_o he_o see_v the_o matter_n but_o yet_o he_o cannoâ—_n pierce_v into_o the_o mind_n oâ—_n the_o workman_n and_o looâ—_n upon_o that_o wisdom_n and_o idea_n of_o his_o mind_n therefore_o all_o that_o we_o can_v conclude_v from_o these_o wonderful_a work_n of_o god_n be_v some_o silent_a admiration_n of_o he_o if_o these_o be_v such_o thâ—n_o what_o must_v he_o be_v how_o infinite_o distant_a from_o thâ—m_n and_o transcendent_a over_o they_o but_o what_o he_o be_v these_o can_v declare_v and_o we_o can_v apprehend_v then_o we_o use_v to_o climb_v up_o to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n by_o attribute_v to_o he_o all_o the_o perfection_n excellency_n and_o eminency_n of_o the_o creature_n whatsoever_o commend_v they_o we_o apprehend_v that_o original_o and_o infinite_o in_o he_o and_o thus_o we_o spell_v out_o that_o name_n that_o be_v most_o simple_o one_o in_o many_o letter_n and_o character_n accord_v to_o our_o mean_a capacity_n as_o child_n when_o they_o begin_v to_o learn_v so_o we_o ascribe_v to_o he_o wisdom_n goodness_n power_n justice_n holiness_n mercy_n truth_n etc._n etc._n all_o which_o name_n be_v take_v from_o the_o creature_n and_o so_o have_v signification_n suit_v to_o our_o imperfection_n they_o must_v needs_o come_v infinite_o short_a of_o he_o and_o so_o our_o apprehension_n of_o they_o these_o be_v scatter_v among_o the_o creature_n therefore_o they_o cause_v diverse_a conception_n in_o we_o but_o all_o these_o be_v unite_v in_o he_o he_o be_v a_o most_o simple_a pure_a be_v that_o eminent_o and_o virtual_o be_v all_o thing_n and_o proper_o be_v none_o of_o all_o another_o way_n we_o have_v of_o apprehend_v he_o by_o way_n of_o negation_n deny_v all_o the_o imperfection_n of_o the_o creature_n and_o remove_v they_o a_o infinite_a distance_n from_o he_o and_o true_o though_o this_o be_v a_o imperfection_n in_o knowledge_n yet_o it_o be_v the_o great_a knowledge_n we_o can_v attain_v to_o to_o know_v rather_o what_o he_o be_v not_o than_o what_o he_o be_v he_o be_v not_o limit_v to_o any_o place_n nor_o bound_v with_o any_o measure_n and_o degreâ—s_n of_o perfection_n as_o creature_n be_v therefore_o we_o call_v he_o infinite_a he_o be_v not_o comprehend_v within_o the_o limit_n of_o time_n but_o comprehend_v all_o within_o himself_o therefore_o he_o be_v eternal_a he_o be_v not_o subject_a to_o change_n and_o alteration_n therefore_o call_v immutable_a he_o be_v not_o
