we_o in_o prosperity_n and_o liberty_n do_v neglect_v for_o the_o which_o neglect_v and_o many_o other_o our_o grievous_a sin_n whereof_o we_o now_o accuse_v ourselves_o before_o thou_o most_o merciful_a lord_n thou_o may_v most_v just_o have_v give_v we_o over_o and_o destroy_v we_o both_o in_o soul_n and_o body_n but_o such_o be_v thy_o goodness_n towards_o we_o in_o christ_n that_o thou_o seem_v to_o forget_v all_o our_o offence_n and_o as_o though_o we_o be_v far_o otherwise_o then_o we_o be_v in_o deed_n thou_o will_v that_o we_o shall_v suffer_v this_o cross_n now_o lay_v christ_n to_o who_o thou_o do_v now_o here_o begin_v to_o fashion_v we_o like_o that_o in_o his_o glory_n we_o may_v be_v like_a to_o he_o also_o oh_o good_a god_n what_o be_v we_o on_o who_o thou_o shall_v show_v this_o great_a mercy_n oh_o love_a lord_n forgive_v we_o our_o unthankfulness_n and_o sin_n oh_o faithful_a father_n give_v we_o thine_o holy_a spirit_n now_o to_o cry_v in_o our_o heart_n abba_n dear_a father_n to_o assure_v we_o of_o our_o eternal_a election_n in_o christ_n to_o reveal_v more_o and_o more_o thy_o truth_n unto_o we_o to_o confirm_v strengthen_v and_o establish_v we_o so_o in_o the_o same_o that_o we_o may_v live_v and_o die_v in_o it_o as_o vessel_n of_o thy_o mercy_n to_o thy_o glory_n and_o to_o the_o commodity_n of_o thy_o church_n endue_v we_o of_o thou_o and_o in_o thou_o and_o all_o that_o ever_o thou_o have_v for_o thou_o be_v whole_o i_o my_o lord_n my_o god_n my_o father_n so_o by_o this_o word_n our_o i_o be_o teach_v to_o glory_n of_o all_o the_o good_a that_o all_o and_o every_o of_o thy_o servant_n that_o ever_o be_v be_v or_o shall_v be_v have_v have_v or_o shall_v have_v for_o now_o i_o be_o teach_v to_o believe_v that_o thou_o have_v call_v i_o into_o the_o communion_n of_o thy_o church_n and_o people_n who_o hereby_o i_o perceive_v thou_o have_v command_v to_o be_v as_o careful_a for_o i_o as_o for_o themselves_o and_o in_o all_o their_o prayer_n to_o be_v as_o mindful_a of_o i_o as_o of_o themselves_o again_o as_o by_o this_o word_n father_n i_o be_o teach_v to_o remember_v and_o render_v my_o duty_n i_o take_v their_o sorrow_n poverty_n affliction_n etc_n etc_n as_o my_o own_o and_o therefore_o to_o labour_v to_o help_v they_o in_o heart_n and_o hand_n after_o my_o vocation_n and_o ability_n utter_o abhor_v all_o pride_n self-love_n arrogancy_n and_o contempt_n of_o any_o by_o reason_n whereof_o i_o have_v great_a cause_n to_o lament_v and_o to_o rejoice_v to_o lament_v because_o i_o be_o so_o for_o else_o i_o can_v not_o but_o be_v otherwise_o affect_v and_o otherwise_o labour_n than_o i_o do_v oh_o be_v merciful_a unto_o i_o good_a father_n forgive_v i_o and_o grant_v for_o christ_n sake_n that_o as_o my_o tongue_n sound_v this_o word_n our_o so_o i_o may_v in_o heart_n feel_v the_o true_a joy_n of_o thy_o bless_a communion_n and_o the_o true_a love_n and_o compassion_n which_o thy_o child_n have_v and_o feel_v towards_o their_o brethren_n that_o i_o may_v rejoice_v in_o all_o trouble_n in_o respect_n of_o that_o joyful_a communion_n that_o i_o may_v deny_v myself_o to_o honour_v thy_o child_n upon_o earth_n and_o endeavour_n myself_o to_o do_v they_o good_a for_o thy_o sake_n through_o jesus_n christ_n our_o lord_n i_o come_v only_o to_o thou_o to_o give_v i_o that_o which_o i_o can_v not_o nor_o must_v not_o elsewhere_o have_v and_o thou_o require_v it_o of_o i_o that_o therefore_o i_o shall_v as_o thy_o child_n come_v and_o crave_v it_o to_o thy_o glory_n heavenly_a benefit_n and_o not_o by_o corporal_n simple_o and_o alone_o for_o oftentimes_o the_o wicked_a prosper_v more_o in_o the_o world_n and_o have_v more_o worldly_a benefit_n than_o thy_o child_n so_o that_o by_o this_o i_o see_v thou_o will_v pull_v up_o my_o mind_n from_o earth_n and_o earthly_a thing_n to_o heaven_n and_o heavenly_a thing_n and_o that_o i_o shall_v see_v further_o by_o corporal_a benefit_n thy_o heavenly_a providence_n for_o i_o for_o if_o thou_o place_v i_o thus_o on_o earth_n and_o thus_o bless_v i_o as_o thou_o do_v and_o hitherto_o have_v do_v from_o my_o youth_n up_o in_o that_o thou_o be_v nothing_o so_o careful_a for_o my_o body_n as_o for_o my_o soul_n how_o shall_v i_o but_o think_v much_o of_o thy_o providence_n for_o it_o be_v thy_o home_n where_o be_v such_o glory_n as_o the_o eye_n have_v not_o see_v etc_n etc_n of_o which_o thing_n these_o corporal_a benefit_n of_o thine_o give_fw-mi i_o on_o earth_n shall_v be_v as_o it_o be_v induction_n &_o the_o take_n of_o they_o away_o admonition_n to_o be_v more_o mindful_a of_o
only_a in_o thy_o church_n and_o elect_a people_n rule_v and_o govern_v all_o and_o every_o member_n of_o thy_o church_n to_o thy_o glory_n and_o their_o eternal_a comfort_n not_o that_o out_o of_o this_o church_n i_o exclude_v thy_o power_n for_o as_o therewith_o thou_o defend_v thy_o people_n so_o thou_o punish_v thy_o enemy_n but_o because_o thy_o grace_n be_v special_o consider_v be_v as_o it_o be_v the_o very_a keeper_n that_o keep_v and_o guide_v thy_o people_n the_o time_n will_v be_v when_o this_o kingdom_n of_o grace_n and_o power_n glory_n now_o be_v as_o distinct_a shall_v be_v gospel_n and_o ministration_n of_o thy_o sacrament_n be_v the_o thing_n which_o christ_n teach_v here_o thy_o child_n to_o pray_v for_o that_o it_o may_v come_v that_o be_v to_o say_v that_o thy_o gospel_n may_v so_o mighty_o pure_o and_o plenteous_o be_v preach_v maugre_o the_o head_n of_o all_o thine_o enemy_n that_o the_o number_n of_o thou_o elect_v may_v be_v bring_v in_o and_o so_o the_o kingdom_n of_o thy_o glory_n may_v appear_v so_o that_o as_o i_o see_v thy_o child_n desire_v pray_v and_o labour_n that_o thy_o gospel_n may_v be_v true_o preach_v hear_v and_o live_v in_o themselves_o and_o in_o other_o so_o they_o lament_v the_o not_o preach_v and_o refuse_v the_o not_o live_v and_o not_o believe_v thy_o gospel_n yea_o they_o lament_v the_o linger_a of_o the_o come_v of_o thy_o christ_n for_o in_o his_o come_n they_o know_v they_o shall_v be_v like_a unto_o he_o and_o have_v this_o hope_n 3._o they_o purify_v themselves_o as_o he_o be_v pure_a by_o reason_n hereof_o i_o see_v first_o that_o i_o be_o far_o from_o this_o desire_n and_o lament_v which_o thy_o chilhave_v ignorance_n i_o see_v my_o ignorance_n of_o thy_o kingdom_n and_o power_n every_o where_o also_o of_o thy_o grace_n in_o thy_o church_n only_o and_o of_o thy_o glory_n when_o all_o the_o enemy_n of_o thy_o grace_n shall_v be_v cast_v down_o and_o thy_o glory_n and_o power_n shall_v embrace_v each_o other_o i_o see_v my_o ignorance_n how_o acceptable_a a_o service_n to_o thou_o be_v the_o true_a preach_n and_o the_o hear_n of_o thy_o gospel_n for_o else_o thou_o have_v not_o need_v to_o have_v place_v this_o petition_n next_o to_o the_o petition_n of_o the_o sanctify_a of_o thy_o name_n again_o i_o see_v here_o my_o unableness_n to_o enter_v into_o thy_o kingdom_n and_o to_o attain_v to_o it_o for_o else_o what_o need_n shall_v i_o have_v to_o pray_v for_o that_o to_o come_v from_o thou_o which_o otherwise_o may_v be_v achieve_v perversity_n three_o i_o see_v my_o perversity_n and_o contempt_n of_o thy_o kingdom_n &_o grace_n for_o although_o i_o see_v my_o want_n yet_o i_o will_v not_o desire_v thy_o kingdom_n to_o come_v if_o thou_o do_v not_o command_v i_o so_o to_o pray_v and_o if_o i_o will_v have_v pray_v for_o it_o thou_o will_v not_o have_v command_v i_o goodness_n last_o of_o all_o i_o see_v thy_o goodness_n which_o will_v bring_v thy_o kingdom_n and_o that_o as_o general_o by_o send_v forth_o minister_n to_o preach_v true_o so_o particular_o by_o regenerate_v i_o more_o and_o more_o &_o by_o give_v i_o as_o grace_v here_o so_o glory_n elsewhere_o for_o thou_o will_v not_o i_o shall_v pray_v for_o that_o which_o thou_o will_v deny_v so_o that_o i_o have_v great_a cause_n to_o lament_v and_o rejoice_v to_o lament_v because_o of_o my_o miserable_a state_n and_o condition_n because_o of_o my_o sin_n ignorance_n rebellion_n perversity_n satan_n power_n contempt_n of_o thy_o grace_n thy_o gospel_n and_o ministry_n here_o or_o elsewhere_o to_o rejoice_v because_o of_o thy_o goodness_n &_o great_a mercy_n which_o have_v bring_v i_o into_o thy_o church_n keep_v i_o in_o it_o and_o will_v do_v so_o stil._n also_o because_o of_o the_o ministry_n of_o thy_o word_n and_o sacrament_n by_o which_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v and_o will_v be_v effectual_a and_o final_o because_o of_o the_o great_a glory_n whereunto_o thou_o have_v call_v i_o and_o which_o now_o thou_o will_v give_v unto_o i_o ask_v the_o same_o but_o alas_o how_o unthankful_a i_o be_o and_o sorrowless_a lord_n thou_o know_v for_o my_o heart_n be_v not_o i_o and_o sure_o i_o ought_v to_o be_v persuade_v of_o thy_o mercy_n though_o my_o sin_n be_v innumerable_a for_o i_o see_v not_o only_o in_o this_o but_o in_o every_o petition_n how_o that_o every_o one_o of_o the_o church_n pray_v for_o i_o yea_o christ_n thy_o son_n who_o sit_v on_o thy_o right_a hand_n pray_v for_o i_o etc_n etc_n oh_o dear_a father_n be_v merciful_a unto_o i_o and_o forgive_v have_v commit_v heretofore_o remember_v if_o you_o have_v occasion_v any_o to_o sin_n to_o pray_v for_o they_o by_o name_n remember_v that_o god_n law_n shall_v be_v so_o dear_a unto_o we_o that_o the_o break_v thereof_o in_o other_o shall_v be_v a_o occasion_n to_o make_v we_o to_o lament_v with_o tear_n etc_n etc_n lead_v we_o not_o into_o temptation_n because_o of_o our_o continual_a &_o great_a infirmity_n because_o of_o the_o great_a diligence_n and_o subtlety_n of_o our_o enemy_n and_o because_o thou_o be_v wont_a to_o punish_v sin_n with_o sin_n which_o of_o all_o punishment_n be_v the_o great_a &_o most_o to_o be_v fear_v in_o this_o petition_n thou_o will_v have_v thy_o child_n to_o have_v the_o same_o in_o remembrance_n and_o for_o a_o remedy_n hereof_o thou_o have_v appoint_v prayer_n so_o that_o the_o only_a cause_n why_o any_o be_v overcome_v and_o lead_v into_o temptation_n be_v for_o that_o they_o forget_v what_o they_o desire_v in_o the_o petition_n go_v before_o this_o which_o shall_v never_o be_v out_o of_o their_o memory_n to_o provoke_v they_o to_o be_v more_o thankful_a to_o thou_o and_o more_o vigilant_a and_o heedy_a hereafter_o for_o fall_v adversity_n common_o be_v impatiency_n murmur_a grudge_a despair_a contemn_v of_o god_n flatter_v of_o man_n steal_v lie_a with_o many_o other_o evil_n whereto_o tentation_n will_v entice_v a_o man_n that_o be_v leave_v to_o himself_o wicked_a where_o as_o to_o one_o that_o be_v guide_v with_o god_n spirit_n temptation_n be_v but_o trial_n to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_o comfort_n of_o the_o tempt_v be_v make_v flesh_n of_o his_o flesh_n and_o blood_n of_o his_o blood_n that_o be_v as_o he_o have_v the_o substance_n of_o our_o flesh_n and_o blood_n even_o so_o we_o may_v have_v and_o for_o ever_o enjoy_v in_o he_o and_o through_o he_o the_o quality_n virtue_n and_o gift_n of_o righteousness_n holiness_n innocence_n immortality_n and_o glory_n wherewith_o he_o have_v endue_v our_o nature_n in_o his_o own_o person_n for_o we_o all_o that_o as_o now_o in_o faith_n and_o hope_v we_o have_v the_o same_o so_o in_o his_o come_n we_o may_v full_o enjoy_v they_o in_o very_a deed_n for_o than_o
