in_o the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o flesh_n that_o shall_v be_v destroy_v and_o so_o no_o safe_a rest_n and_o centre_n for_o they_o but_o the_o wisdom_n of_o christ_n do_v unbottome_n saint_n from_o their_o own_o wisdom_n and_o establish_v himself_o even_o the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o god_n head_n in_o the_o creature_n to_o be_v a_o rest_n unto_o the_o creature_n whereas_o before_o the_o soul_n and_o spirit_n be_v not_o a_o rest_n be_v from_o its_o own_o wisdom_n plot_v and_o contrive_v which_o way_n to_o act_v and_o what_o to_o do_v not_o from_o the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n but_o from_o the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o flesh_n only_o oppose_v and_o gainsaying_n this_o wisdom_n which_o when_o the_o creature_n can_v not_o bring_v about_o what_o in_o his_o own_o wisdom_n he_o have_v contrive_v he_o must_v needs_o be_v perplex_v and_o so_o continue_v in_o all_o trouble_n but_o now_o he_o be_v destroy_v in_o that_o and_o he_o be_v make_v to_o rest_n upon_o the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n christ_n now_o take_v the_o creature_n place_n and_o act_v in_o the_o stead_n of_o the_o creature_n so_o that_o the_o soul_n be_v make_v to_o walk_v in_o and_o by_o wisdom_n it_o be_v that_o wisdom_n which_o be_v pute_v peaceable_a and_o undefiled_a the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o flesh_n be_v corrupt_v but_o this_o be_v pure_a the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o flesh_n have_v nothing_o in_o it_o but_o disquietness_n both_o to_o the_o party_n in_o who_o it_o be_v or_o in_o the_o kingdom_n church_n or_o family_n where_o it_o be_v act_v and_o for_o this_o reason_n be_v occasion_v all_o jarring_n and_o tumult_n but_o the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n which_o be_v jesus_n christ_n be_v peaeeable_a it_o work_v abundance_n of_o peace_n and_o quietness_n in_o the_o soul_n church_n or_o nation_n where_o it_o only_o be_v advance_v here_o be_v a_o quiet_a and_o peaceable_a habitation_n for_o saint_n to_o rest_n and_o live_v upon_o we_o see_v christ_n often_o in_o scripture_n call_v the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n and_o as_o 1_o cor._n 1._o 24._o where_o the_o apostle_n declare_v christ_n in_o all_o that_o be_v save_v to_o be_v the_o wisdom_n and_o power_n of_o god_n though_o this_o wisdom_n be_v little_o esteem_v of_o by_o the_o world_n yet_o it_o be_v high_o precious_a in_o the_o esteem_n of_o saint_n as_o for_o instance_n that_o of_o the_o proverb_n 3._o 15._o ver_fw-la where_o that_o wisdom_n be_v precious_a yea_o more_o precious_a than_o ruby_n yea_o he_o be_v express_v to_o be_v a_o un-comparable_a comparison_n so_o that_o this_o wisdom_n of_o the_o eternal_a spirit_n which_o be_v christ_n in_o we_o be_v desirable_a and_o therefore_o above_o all_o thing_n say_v the_o scripture_n get_v wisdom_n prov._n 4._o 5._o yea_o there_o be_v a_o happiness_n in_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o it_o for_o it_o be_v the_o principal_a thing_n belong_v to_o a_o saint_n pro._n 4._o 7._o so_o that_o saint_n be_v centre_v up_o in_o the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n and_o be_v whole_o deliver_v up_o into_o it_o to_o be_v alone_o dispose_v by_o it_o so_o that_o the_o spirit_n live_v in_o sweet_a quietness_n and_o rest_n the_o creature_n be_v whole_o make_v nothing_o in_o his_o own_o wisdom_n and_o the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n alone_o order_v all_o thing_n in_o he_o seven_o that_o which_o spiriturl_o be_v call_v christ_n in_o we_o be_v that_o peace_n which_o be_v speak_v by_o god_n to_o we_o and_o receive_v from_o god_n by_o we_o in_o which_o peace_n we_o live_v and_o rest_v so_o that_o saint_n be_v keep_v in_o the_o peace_n of_o god_n which_o be_v christ_n to_o this_o purpose_n be_v the_o say_n in_o the_o eph._n 2._o 14._o for_o he_o be_v our_o peace_n who_o have_v make_v both_o one_o and_o have_v break_v down_o the_o middle_a wall_n of_o partition_n between_o we_o here_o the_o apostle_n set_v forth_o christ_n to_o be_v the_o peace_n of_o the_o saint_n for_o whatsoever_o tend_v to_o peace_n in_o the_o creature_n spirit_n that_o i_o mean_v which_o true_o tend_v to_o the_o same_o be_v christ_n for_o the_o soul_n before_o desire_v the_o saint_n may_v enjoy_v which_o be_v the_o peace_n of_o god_n which_o pass_v all_o understanding_n phil._n 4._o 7._o which_o be_v of_o ability_n to_o keep_v their_o heart_n in_o the_o knowledge_n and_o love_n of_o god_n now_o this_o be_v that_o saint_n spiritual_a christ_n a_o peace_n which_o be_v able_a to_o keep_v they_o in_o the_o love_n of_o god_n and_o a_o peace_n which_o pass_v the_o understanding_n of_o the_o creature_n that_o be_v a_o peace_n which_o the_o understanding_n of_o man_n can_v never_o find_v out_o or_o iâ—_n able_a to_o reach_v under_o yea_o all_o the_o understanding_n in_o the_o world_n be_v never_o able_a to_o find_v out_o such_o a_o peace_n for_o the_o creature_n as_o this_o be_v so_o that_o he_o be_v term_v the_o prince_n of_o peace_n isa_n 9_o 6._o all_o the_o act_n of_o christ_n in_o the_o spirit_n of_o believer_n be_v righteousness_n and_o peace_n it_o be_v that_o peace_n which_o the_o world_n can_v give_v and_o such_o a_o peace_n it_o be_v as_o they_o can_v take_v away_o when_o god_n speak_v châ—ist_v into_o a_o soul_n which_o be_v peace_n in_o which_o none_o can_v cause_v trouble_n in_o such_o a_o soul_n because_o christ_n be_v become_v the_o peace_n thereof_o indeed_o man_n may_v speak_v peace_n and_o ordinance_n may_v speak_v peace_n and_o false_a god_n and_o christ_n may_v speak_v peace_n after_o which_o there_o may_v be_v trouble_v occasion_v but_o after_o god_n speak_v peace_n there_o can_v none_o cause_v trouble_n but_o the_o soul_n live_v and_o be_v keep_v in_o the_o peace_n of_o god_n and_o none_o can_v make_v he_o afraid_a therefore_o the_o prophet_n do_v utter_v these_o say_n he_o shall_v be_v our_o peace_n when_o the_o assyrian_n come_v into_o our_o land_n this_o christ_n be_v the_o peace_n of_o saint_n
