torment_v the_o sinner_n fill_v he_o with_o fear_n and_o terror_n and_o amazement_n in_o this_o respect_n he_o be_v call_v rom._n 8._o the_o spirit_n of_o bondage_n that_o work_v fear_n and_o beside_o christ_n be_v make_v sensible_a of_o his_o sin_n and_o his_o danger_n a_o sinner_n will_v look_v out_o for_o help_v and_o deliverance_n but_o he_o will_v look_v every_o where_o else_o before_o he_o will_v look_v unto_o christ_n nothing_o will_v bring_v in_o a_o sinner_n to_o christ_n but_o a_o absolute_a necessity_n he_o will_v try_v to_o forsake_v his_o sin_n will_v think_v of_o leave_v his_o drunkenness_n and_o become_v sober_a of_o leave_v his_o adultery_n and_o become_v chaste_a and_o so_o see_v if_o by_o this_o mean_n be_v may_v not_o escape_v he_o will_v go_v to_o prayer_n and_o sermon_n and_o sacrament_n and_o search_v out_o if_o there_o be_v not_o salvation_n in_o they_o but_o all_o these_o though_o they_o be_v useful_a in_o their_o place_n yet_o look_v no_o further_o the_o sinner_n see_v there_o be_v no_o help_n in_o they_o his_o righteousness_n can_v help_v he_o this_o be_v but_o rag_n his_o duty_n can_v help_v he_o these_o may_v be_v reckon_v among_o his_o sin_n ordinance_n can_v help_v these_o be_v but_o empty_a cistern_n and_o all_o tell_v he_o you_o knock_v at_o a_o wrong_a door_n salvation_n be_v not_o in_o we_o well_o the_o lord_n be_v merciful_a to_o i_o faith_n the_o sinner_n what_o shall_v i_o do_v abide_v as_o i_o be_o i_o dare_v not_o and_o how_o to_o help_v myself_o i_o know_v not_o my_o pray_n will_v not_o help_v i_o my_o hear_n will_v not_o help_v i_o if_o i_o give_v all_o my_o good_n to_o the_o poor_a if_o i_o shall_v give_v my_o body_n to_o be_v burn_v all_o this_o will_v not_o save_v my_o soul_n woe_n be_v i_o what_o shall_v i_o do_v and_o whether_o shall_v i_o go_v and_o now_o be_v bring_v to_o this_o distress_n to_o this_o utter_a loss_n his_o despair_n drive_v he_o to_o the_o only_a door_n of_o hope_n
