it_o be_v a_o zeal_n for_o spiritual_a thing_n and_o gift_n 1_o cor._n 4.1_o 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d follow_v after_o love_n and_o zealous_o affect_v spiritual_a thing_n as_o the_o word_n may_v be_v read_v and_z vers_n 39_o therefore_o brethren_n be_v you_o zealous_a that_o you_o may_v prophesy_v there_o be_v a_o zeal_n which_o pretend_v to_o be_v for_o spiritual_a thing_n but_o jehu_n like_v be_v ready_a for_o carnal_a and_o base_a thing_n spiritual_a and_o divine_a thing_n be_v most_o suitable_a to_o be_v the_o object_n of_o this_o spiritual_a and_o divine_a zeal_n thus_o have_v i_o finish_v the_o use_n of_o examination_n by_o which_o you_o may_v certain_o know_v whether_o you_o be_v come_v to_o christ_n or_o no._n there_o be_v still_o a_o use_n of_o exhortation_n that_o remain_v under_o this_o point_n of_o doctrine_n that_o it_o be_v the_o indispensable_a duty_n of_o all_o labour_a and_o heavy_a lade_v sinner_n who_o look_v for_o rest_n and_o salvation_n to_o come_v unto_o the_o lord_n jesus_n that_o they_o may_v obtain_v it_o and_o if_o it_o be_v a_o duty_n as_o have_v be_v prove_v then_o let_v i_o exhort_v all_o to_o come_v for_o if_o you_o do_v neglect_n or_o refuse_v to_o come_v you_o do_v neglect_v your_o duty_n and_o slight_a your_o soul_n and_o refuse_v the_o only_a mean_n of_o eternal_a salvation_n but_o here_o you_o may_v be_v ready_a to_o make_v this_o question_n how_o must_v i_o come_v unto_o the_o lord_n jesus_n that_o i_o may_v obtain_v rest_n and_o salvation_n in_o answer_v of_o this_o question_n i_o shall_v take_v in_o the_o three_o doctrine_n because_o i_o have_v already_o exceed_v my_o first_o intention_n &_o shall_v manage_v the_o four_o by_o way_n of_o motive_n and_o encouragement_n because_o i_o observe_v poor_a sinner_n be_v general_o very_o unwilling_a to_o come_v to_o christ_n they_o have_v rather_o weary_v themselves_o and_o labour_n under_o their_o burden_n of_o sin_n till_o they_o be_v in_o the_o end_n crush_v down_o with_o the_o intolerable_a ponderosity_n of_o eternal_a vengeance_n 1._o then_o if_o thou_o will_v come_v unto_o christ_n aright_o pray_v for_o the_o holy_a spirit_n that_o he_o may_v enable_v thou_o to_o come_v to_o christ_n in_o that_o way_n which_o will_v certain_o end_v in_o rest_n and_o salvation_n for_o as_o i_o have_v before_o declare_v it_o be_v the_o spirit_n that_o illuminate_v the_o understanding_n in_o all_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v necessary_a to_o salvation_n it_o be_v that_o convince_v the_o conscience_n of_o those_o duty_n which_o absolute_o concern_v the_o soul_n he_o incline_v the_o will_n to_o comply_v ready_o with_o the_o whole_a know_v and_o reveal_v will_n of_o god_n he_o sanctify_v the_o affection_n and_o work_v grace_n in_o the_o soul_n all_o these_o be_v his_o work_n alone_o 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d efficient_o let_v the_o instrument_n be_v what_o it_o will_v he_o be_v not_o oblige_v to_o any_o mean_n or_o method_n yet_o the_o mean_n as_o instrument_n depend_v whole_o upon_o his_o energy_n and_o co-operation_n therefore_o if_o thou_o will_v come_v to_o christ_n aright_o pray_v hearty_o and_o seek_v fervent_o for_o the_o holy_a spirit_n without_o who_o conduct_n thou_o can_v never_o come_v to_o christ_n effectual_o and_o so_o as_o to_o be_v ease_v of_o thy_o burden_n 2_o when_o thou_o have_v seek_v for_o the_o spirit_n and_o do_v feel_v he_o work_v upon_o thy_o soul_n
