they_o we_o must_v also_o consider_v how_o infinite_a wisdom_n and_o goodness_n have_v sure_v out_o work_n to_o our_o end_n our_o present_a duty_n to_o our_o future_a happiness_n that_o by_o the_o suitable_a to_o the_o genius_n and_o disposition_n of_o a_o unsanctified_a heart_n and_o how_o shall_v a_o man_n be_v happy_a while_o his_o very_a soul_n be_v averse_a to_o and_o at_o enmity_n against_o that_o which_o alone_o can_v make_v he_o so_o this_o be_v the_o woeful_a case_n of_o the_o far_o great_a part_n of_o the_o world_n which_o loud_o call_v for_o our_o deep_a lamentation_n perfect_a a_o state_n 2._o it_o will_v certain_o pull_v down_o the_o groundless_a presumption_n of_o self-deceiving_a hypocrite_n who_o promise_v to_o themselves_o heaven_n at_o last_o though_o they_o be_v utter_a stranger_n to_o that_o vital_a power_n of_o religion_n without_o which_o there_o be_v no_o come_n thither_o no_o wonder_n that_o man_n who_o hope_v for_o they_o know_v not_o what_o hereafter_o live_v they_o know_v not_o or_o care_v not_o how_o while_o they_o be_v here_o but_o whatsoever_o a_o man_n sow_n that_o shall_v he_o also_o reap_v gal._n 6.7_o 3._o this_o will_v also_o show_v we_o what_o way_n and_o manner_n of_o religious_a worship_n be_v like_a to_o be_v most_o acceptable_a to_o god_n and_o advantageous_a to_o ourselves_o viz._n that_o which_o tend_v most_o to_o a_o distance_n be_v such_o man_n from_o happiness_n certain_o as_o one_o say_v the_o notion_n and_o nature_n of_o blessedness_n must_v be_v change_v or_o else_o the_o temper_n of_o their_o spirit_n either_o they_o must_v have_v new_a heart_n create_v or_o a_o new_a heaven_n if_o ever_o they_o be_v happy_a 2._o let_v we_o inquire_v a_o little_a how_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n come_v to_o be_v conception_n of_o it_o as_o thou_o can_v and_o then_o put_v the_o question_n to_o thy_o own_o reason_n what_o kind_n of_o preparation_n seem_v necessary_a to_o fit_v a_o man_n for_o such_o a_o happiness_n as_o this_o and_o especial_o ask_v thyself_o how_o shall_v a_o man_n heart_n be_v dispose_v and_o affect_v towards_o god_n in_o this_o world_n that_o he_o may_v be_v qualify_v for_o therefore_o that_o your_o distemper_n be_v so_o much_o the_o more_o dangerous_a but_o i_o need_v not_o enlarge_v upon_o this_o only_o remember_v that_o god_n will_v quick_o try_v all_o over_o again_o and_o whatever_o your_o present_a judgement_n be_v of_o yourselves_o his_o final_a judgement_n will_v be_v according_a to_o righteousness_n on_o the_o other_o hand_n some_o be_v so_o timorous_a and_o
