receive_n of_o the_o sacrament_n o_o eternal_a god_n most_o gracious_a and_o love_a father_n in_o jesus_n christ_n i_o thy_o unworthy_a servant_n do_v here_o humble_v myself_o and_o present_v my_o prayer_n before_o the_o throne_n of_o grace_n confess_v from_o the_o ground_n and_o bottom_n of_o my_o heart_n that_o i_o be_o a_o miserable_a and_o wretched_a sinner_n if_o i_o stand_v guilty_a of_o by_o my_o manifold_a sin_n to_o be_v deprive_v of_o all_o the_o favour_n and_o comfort_n that_o i_o have_v receive_v from_o thy_o gracious_a hand_n to_o taste_v in_o a_o deep_a measure_n of_o thy_o heavy_a indignation_n in_o this_o present_a life_n and_o to_o be_v subject_a to_o eternal_a condemnation_n in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v but_o this_o be_v my_o comfort_n lord_n that_o thou_o be_v a_o gracious_a and_o a_o merciful_a god_n to_o they_o that_o be_v true_o penitent_a and_o lie_v hold_v upon_o thy_o son_n christ_n jesus_n with_o a_o lively_a faith_n in_o regard_n whereof_o i_o be_o bold_a to_o come_v unto_o thou_o in_o his_o name_n beseech_v thou_o for_o his_o sake_n to_o have_v mercy_n and_o compassion_n upon_o i_o to_o pardon_v and_o forgive_v i_o all_o my_o sin_n to_o cleanse_v i_o with_o his_o blood_n and_o clothe_v i_o with_o his_o righteousness_n strengthen_v good_a lord_n my_o weak_a and_o feeble_a faith_n mortify_v the_o corruption_n of_o my_o vile_a nature_n allurement_n yea_o sanctify_v i_o i_o beseech_v thou_o with_o that_o bless_a spirit_n of_o thou_o in_o soul_n and_o body_n and_o spirit_n that_o i_o may_v sanctify_v thy_o name_n in_o holiness_n and_o righteousness_n all_o the_o day_n of_o my_o life_n and_o forasmuch_o as_o thou_o have_v ordain_v the_o holy_a sacrament_n to_o be_v a_o especial_a mean_n of_o work_v these_o &_o other_o grace_n in_o the_o heart_n &_o life_n of_o thy_o servant_n i_o humble_o beseech_v thou_o for_o christ_n his_o sake_n that_o thou_o will_v vouchsafe_v both_o now_o and_o at_o all_o time_n to_o bless_v this_o thy_o holy_a ordinance_n to_o i_o and_o to_o prepare_v i_o for_o the_o worthy_a receive_n of_o it_o lord_n open_a my_o understanding_n that_o i_o may_v by_o the_o eye_n of_o faith_n behold_v thy_o dear_a son_n and_o my_o bless_a saviour_n the_o author_n and_o matter_n of_o this_o bless_a banquet_n that_o my_o soul_n may_v be_v employ_v in_o the_o diligent_a meditation_n of_o these_o sacred_a mystery_n that_o by_o partake_v thereof_o i_o may_v find_v those_o sweet_a comfort_n wherewith_o my_o heart_n may_v be_v abundant_o refresh_v lord_n make_v i_o able_a in_o this_o holy_a sacrament_n to_o behold_v the_o death_n and_o passion_n of_o my_o saviour_n and_o in_o his_o death_n and_o passion_n his_o wonderful_a love_n and_o compassion_n and_o that_o the_o consideration_n thereof_o may_v kindle_v in_o my_o heart_n those_o excellent_a grace_n of_o love_n and_o zeal_n to_o thy_o glory_n and_o may_v stir_v i_o up_o to_o compassion_n and_o love_n to_o my_o brethren_n make_v room_n in_o my_o heart_n for_o the_o entertain_n of_o christ_n and_o grant_v i_o grace_n to_o receive_v he_o into_o the_o house_n of_o my_o soul_n like_o the_o centurion_n humble_o and_o yet_o like_o the_o publican_n cheerful_o and_o joyful_o that_o by_o this_o heavenly_a food_n i_o may_v have_v thy_o mercy_n in_o christ_n seal_v up_o unto_o i_o that_o so_o i_o may_v be_v preserve_v to_o the_o glory_n of_o thy_o save_a grace_n through_o jesus_n christ_n my_o lord_n and_o only_a saviour_n amen_n amen_n thanksgiving_n after_o the_o receive_n of_o the_o sacrament_n i_o humble_o thank_v thou_o most_o gracious_a god_n and_o love_a father_n for_o all_o thy_o blessing_n &_o benefit_n bestow_v upon_o i_o who_o be_o not_o worthy_a the_o least_o of_o all_o thy_o mercy_n
