namely_o 1._o that_o we_o be_v not_o to_o believe_v as_o the_o church_n believe_v but_o rather_o as_o w._n mucklow_n and_o his_o brother_n j._n pennyman_n believe_v see_v that_o they_o have_v assume_v w._n m._n and_o j._n p._n as_o be_v the_o lowly_a one_o not_o to_o submit_v to_o the_o church_n in_o matter_n of_o judgement_n so_o that_o at_o this_o rate_n they_o will_v claim_v a_o superiority_n and_o pre-eminence_n above_o the_o church_n which_o heretofore_o they_o have_v own_v and_o confess_v to_o the_o power_n of_o god_n in_o she_o as_o if_o this_o have_v the_o infallible_a spirit_n when_o the_o church_n want_v it_o if_o this_o be_v not_o a_o head-ship_n and_o usurpation_n a_o degree_n high_o than_o the_o pope_n himself_o pretend_v to_o let_v all_o intelligent_a reader_n judge_v be_v so_o be_v the_o pope_n pretend_v to_o a_o infallibility_n not_o as_o in_o a_o separation_n from_o the_o church_n but_o as_o profess_v unity_n with_o she_o still_o though_o he_o be_v real_o anti-christian_n in_o his_o usurp_a the_o headship_n that_o he_o do_v and_o so_o be_v these_o man_n who_o like_o evil_a spy_n have_v bring_v evil_a report_n upon_o the_o good_a land_n and_o despise_v the_o church_n of_o god_n even_o his_o people_n call_v quaker_n contrary_a to_o their_o first_o love_n testimony_n and_o conviction_n as_o for_o w._n m._n his_o addition_n to_o his_o query_n it_o contain_v both_o apparent_a untruth_n folly_n and_o confusion_n against_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n imply_v the_o church_n apostasy_n declension_n or_o fall_n from_o what_o be_v testify_v in_o the_o begin_n among_o we_o which_o be_v as_o good_a doctrine_n as_o to_o tell_v we_o that_o christ_n spouse_n bride_n or_o the_o lamb_n wife_n be_v become_v a_o adulteress_n where_o then_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o the_o hat_n p._n 43._o but_o how_o infallible_a they_o ever_o pretend_v themselves_o to_o be_v he_o tell_v not_o he_o be_v not_o so_o ingenuous_a do_v we_o ever_o preach_v up_o mere_o ourselves_o as_o infallible_a or_o pretend_v infallibility_n any_o otherwise_o then_o as_o instruct_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n which_o be_v infallible_a or_o do_v we_o ever_o place_v it_o upon_o human_a understanding_n as_o mere_a man_n but_o upon_o that_o divine_a understanding_n that_o god_n give_v but_o these_o apostate_n judge_v other_o from_o their_o own_o darkness_n and_o evil_a thought_n and_o therein_o render_v the_o body_n as_o divide_v from_o the_o head_n and_o rend_v to_o piece_n within_o itself_o which_o be_v that_o the_o devil_n the_o old_a divider_n have_v seek_v and_o now_o set_v his_o agent_n on_o work_n to_o make_v the_o world_n believe_v a_o lie_n viz._n that_o he_o have_v make_v such_o division_n in_o the_o church_n as_o where_o w._n m._n say_v in_o the_o beginning_n christ_n within_o we_o be_v then_o to_o be_v head_n but_o now_o the_o body_n without_o we_o a_o manifest_a slander_n against_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n never_o such_o a_o doctrine_n be_v preach_v or_o own_v among_o we_o that_o now_o the_o body_n without_o we_o be_v to_o be_v the_o head_n and_o not_o christ_n as_o
employ_v and_o yet_o he_o grant_v christ_n to_o be_v the_o head_n of_o the_o body_n and_o be_v not_o that_o body_n the_o church_n which_o he_o have_v own_v see_v what_o contradiction_n envy_n lead_v this_o man_n into_o who_o also_o say_v that_o the_o church_n be_v then_o to_o be_v in_o subjection_n to_o her_o head_n and_o every_o member_n govern_v and_o exercise_v according_a to_o the_o order_n of_o the_o head_n but_o now_o the_o body_n the_o church_n claim_v authority_n over_o their_o fellow-member_n as_o peculiar_o have_v the_o infallible_a spirit_n etc._n etc._n these_o latter_a word_n from_o but_o contain_v two_o false_a and_o unjust_a reflection_n upon_o the_o church_n for_o first_o the_o body_n or_o church_n claim_v no_o such_o authority_n over_o their_o fellow-member_n it_o be_v gross_a confusion_n in_o he_o for_o to_o affirm_v it_o for_o all_o fellow-member_n thereof_o be_v include_v in_o the_o same_o body_n in_o subjection_n to_o one_o and_o the_o same_o head_n which_o be_v christ._n 2._o none_o of_o the_o fellow-member_n of_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n be_v exclude_v from_o have_v the_o infallible_a spirit_n in_o some_o degree_n as_o if_o it_o be_v peculiar_a only_o to_o some_o few_o whenas_o its_o universal_a throughout_o the_o whole_a body_n though_o there_o be_v diversity_n of_o gift_n give_v as_o the_o lord_n see_v meet_v to_o every_o man_n his_o proper_a and_o peculiar_a gift_n which_o all_o tend_v to_o unity_n and_o edification_n of_o the_o whole_a body_n but_o this_o man_n seem_v to_o claim_v a_o member-ship_n in_o the_o church_n or_o body_n as_o he_o call_v we_o and_o yet_o judge_n and_o revile_v the_o church_n what_o then_o will_v he_o be_v a_o member_n of_o be_v it_o of_o such_o a_o body_n that_o he_o represent_v as_o tear_v to_o piece_n and_o rend_v from_o the_o head_n or_o fall_v under_o apostasy_n for_o we_o can_v look_v upon_o the_o church_n to_o be_v make_v up_o of_o himself_o and_o john_n pennyman_n or_o a_o few_o of_o their_o spirit_n and_o that_o be_v also_o contrary_a to_o j._n p_n writing_n himself_o one_o of_o the_o least_o of_o the_o thousand_o in_o israel_n but_o whether_o he_o have_v such_o low_a thought_n of_o himself_o or_o not_o let_v god_n witness_n and_o his_o people_n who_o have_v behold_v his_o deportment_n and_o luceferian_a spirit_n judge_n w._n m._n say_v friend_n that_o which_o be_v declare_v of_o and_o testify_v unto_o in_o the_o beginning_n be_v to_o direct_v our_o mind_n unto_o the_o heavenly_a gift_n not_o to_o the_o church_n but_o to_o the_o manifestation_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o the_o particular_a wait_v there_o to_o feel_v its_o motion_n and_o to_o hear_v its_o voice_n which_o will_v infallible_o teach_v we_o our_o duty_n towards_o god_n our_o neighbour_n and_o ourselves_o and_o not_o to_o go_v forth_o into_o reason_v to_o promote_v comely_a order_n after_o the_o manner_n of_o man_n nor_o to_o be_v find_v in_o the_o exercise_n of_o any_o thing_n in_o his_o pure_a worship_n but_o what_o the_o lord_n not_o the_o body_n require_v else_o to_o stand_v still_o etc._n etc._n herein_o he_o have_v intermix_v his_o perverse_a parenthesis_n false_o charge_v we_o in_o divers_a respect_n as_o if_o the_o heavenly_a gift_n and_o the_o church_n be_v now_o separate_v and_o what_o the_o lord_n and_o his_o people_n require_v in_o oppositior_fw-la or_o as_o if_o we_o be_v promote_a a_o body_n without_o the_o spirit_n or_o subjection_n to_o what_o the_o lord_n require_v as_o if_o our_o testimony_n be_v now_o so_o much_o vary_v from_o what_o it_o be_v in_o the_o beginning_n these_o be_v all_o most_o false_o suggest_v his_o say_n it_o be_v to_o direct_v our_o mind_n to_o the_o heavenly_a gift_n not_o to_o the_o church_n to_o what_o the_o lord_n not_o the_o body_n require_v see_v what_o division_n this_o will_v make_v between_o the_o lord_n and_o his_o people_n but_o he_o mistake_v not_o to_o the_o church_n for_o our_o testimony_n be_v in_o the_o beginning_n and_o still_o be_v to_o promote_v the_o unity_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o our_o direct_v the_o mind_n to_o the_o spirit_n and_o to_o they_o that_o love_v the_o lord_n to_o dwell_v in_o love_n and_o unity_n which_o all_o come_v unto_o who_o come_v unto_o the_o heavenly_a gift_n and_o to_o follow_v the_o lord_n requiring_n therein_o which_o be_v unerring_a and_o what_o be_v this_o but_o to_o preach_v up_o a_o true_a church-state_n which_o have_v be_v the_o real_a intent_n and_o tendency_n of_o our_o testimony_n from_o the_o beginning_n and_o have_v this_o man_n be_v faithful_a to_o what_o be_v testfy_v in_o the_o beginning_n as_o he_o pretend_v a_o great_a esteem_n thereof_o the_o unity_n and_o society_n of_o the_o church_n and_o people_n of_o god_n call_v quaker_n will_v have_v be_v of_o more_o value_n with_o he_o than_o now_o so_o envious_o and_o confuse_o to_o quarrel_v with_o they_o or_o any_o comely_a order_n or_o reverend_a custom_n in_o the_o church_n as_o he_o do_v which_o he_o do_v not_o in_o the_o beginning_n for_o when_o his_o mind_n be_v direct_v to_o the_o manifestation_n of_o the_o spirit_n which_o will_v infallible_o teach_v we_o our_o duty_n towards_o god_n the_o infallible_a spirit_n which_o be_v then_o own_v to_o be_v their_o teacher_n free_o lead_v they_o into_o it_o nor_o do_v the_o apostle_n so_o go_v out_o into_o reason_v when_o he_o exhort_v the_o saint_n to_o think_v on_o whatsoever_o thing_n be_v true_a honest_a just_a pure_a lovely_a of_o good_a report_n etc._n etc._n but_o this_o man_n be_v offend_v at_o our_o vindicate_v that_o order_n which_o be_v make_v both_o lovely_a and_o comely_a by_o that_o spirit_n that_o set_v it_o up_o since_o he_o be_v go_v out_o from_o that_o infallible_a spirit_n which_o he_o be_v direct_v to_o in_o the_o beginning_n which_o then_o move_v and_o lead_v they_o into_o both_o reverence_n to_o god_n respect_n to_o his_o people_n and_o how_o to_o behave_v themselves_o in_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o beginning_n testify_v to_o among_o we_o he_o have_v therein_o say_v more_o for_o the_o comely_a order_n that_o then_o be_v bring_v forth_o in_o our_o assembly_n and_o for_o the_o church_n have_v the_o infallible_a spirit_n to_o know_v truth_n from_o error_n and_o the_o right_n from_o the_o wrong_a spirit_n than_o ever_o he_o can_v say_v or_o produce_v for_o the_o contrary_a viz._n for_o his_o keep_n on_o his_o hat_n in_o prayer_n for_o his_o accuse_v the_o church_n with_o fallibility_n apostasy_n or_o the_o ancient_a friend_n with_o impose_v usurp_a etc._n etc._n out_o of_o his_o own_o mouth_n he_o be_v condemn_v as_o one_o apostatise_v from_o the_o heavenly_a gift_n from_o his_o first_o love_n convincement_n and_o order_n and_o have_v wilful_o
