nothing_o be_v he_o so_o clear_o to_o be_v see_v as_o in_o man_n who_o therefore_o he_o create_v after_o his_o own_o image_n and_o perfect_v in_o christ_n therefore_o as_o brightness_n do_v so_o proceed_v from_o the_o light_n of_o the_o sun_n as_o yet_o it_o be_v not_o separate_v from_o the_o sun_n but_o for_o all_o that_o remain_v in_o the_o sun_n though_o it_o fill_v the_o whole_a world_n in_o adam_n to_o eat_v of_o the_o tree_n of_o knowledge_n of_o good_a and_o evil_a to_o obey_v the_o word_n of_o satan_n and_o be_v god_n therefore_o those_o that_o eat_v of_o this_o deadly_a tree_n and_o adhere_v to_o the_o word_n and_o wisdom_n of_o the_o serpent_n and_o be_v bear_v of_o satan_n these_o can_v do_v any_o thing_n that_o be_v please_v unto_o god_n as_o on_o the_o contrary_a the_o other_o do_v not_o any_o thing_n that_o be_v displease_v unto_o he_o therefore_o he_o that_o will_v be_v the_o one_o must_v bid_v adieu_o to_o the_o other_o he_o must_v put_v off_o the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o contrary_n shall_v be_v fall_n in_o we_o therefore_o they_o be_v much_o deceive_v who_o think_v that_o nothing_o be_v the_o word_n of_o god_n but_o what_o altogether_o differ_v from_o our_o ourselves_o as_o much_o as_o we_o can_v who_o but_o myself_o be_v god_n say_v the_o world_n in_o the_o course_n of_o her_o life_n chapter_n x._o a_o answer_n to_o certain_a objection_n that_o we_o in_o spiritual_a thing_n and_o this_o knowledge_n shall_v make_v we_o nothing_o foolish_a and_o child_n in_o our_o own_o eye_n but_o we_o desire_v to_o know_v and_o seem_v wise_a whereby_o it_o come_v his_o own_o because_o god_n have_v determine_v never_o to_o acknowledge_v crown_n or_o reward_v any_o thing_n in_o we_o but_o his_o own_v gift_n and_o work_n that_o be_v never_o to_o love_v or_o accept_v any_o thing_n in_o we_o but_o himself_o for_o he_o alone_o be_v the_o light_n life_n the_o way_n and_o the_o truth_n so_o that_o whosoever_o be_v not_o in_o he_o or_o he_o in_o they_o they_o always_o wander_v in_o the_o path_n of_o error_n and_o shadow_n of_o death_n now_o every_o man_n know_v what_o it_o be_v to_o walk_v in_o darkness_n the_o wall_n of_o jerusalem_n be_v not_o to_o be_v open_v before_o the_o sun_n do_v rise_v even_o so_o shall_v no_o man_n intend_v to_o go_v forth_o before_o the_o son_n of_o righteousness_n arise_v in_o his_o heart_n since_o all_o thing_n depend_v upon_o he_o and_o be_v shall_v be_v our_o teacher_n and_o example_n by_o who_o instruction_n we_o shall_v learn_v and_o by_o who_o example_n we_o shall_v walk_v as_o the_o scripture_n testify_v it_o be_v a_o easy_a thing_n to_o say_v that_o the_o world_n be_v in_o darkness_n and_o uncapable_a of_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n but_o no_o man_n will_v either_o acknowledge_v or_o believe_v himself_o to_o be_v the_o world_n or_o that_o the_o whole_a world_n to_o god_n be_v all_o flesh_n as_o the_o son_n of_o adam_n all_o be_v natural_a man_n with_o the_o universal_a righteousness_n reason_n and_o wisdom_n therein_o but_o by_o the_o world_n man_n think_v to_o be_v understand_v the_o turk_n gentle_n and_o heathen_n and_o i_o know_v not_o what_o people_n of_o the_o far_a part_n of_o the_o world_n attribute_v so_o much_o to_o art_n tongue_n and_o scripture_n which_o they_o almost_o prefer_v above_o the_o spirit_n and_o if_o a_o man_n do_v read_v and_o have_v a_o bible_n they_o think_v it_o enough_o and_o that_o by_o which_o they_o may_v easy_o obtain_v the_o holy_a ghost_n not_o consider_v that_o either_o the_o holy_a ghost_n must_v be_v their_o guide_n and_o enlighten_v they_o in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o word_n or_o otherwise_o it_o be_v but_o a_o dead_a letter_n
and_o be_v so_o far_o from_o bring_v life_n with_o it_o that_o it_o mortify_v and_o kill_v the_o reader_n as_o paul_n imply_v where_o he_o say_v the_o spirit_n quicken_v and_o not_o the_o letter_n the_o jew_n in_o ancient_a time_n and_o so_o man_n in_o these_o day_n do_v boast_v themselves_o of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o be_v strong_o persuade_v that_o out_o of_o it_o they_o be_v able_a to_o gather_v life_n to_o their_o soul_n but_o they_o be_v far_o deceive_v wherefore_o christ_n say_v in_o who_o think_v you_o to_o have_v life_n as_o for_o the_o scripture_n his_o testimony_n of_o they_o be_v this_o that_o they_o be_v they_o which_o testify_v of_o he_o therefore_o all_o art_n and_o knowledge_n be_v no_o way_n the_o cause_n of_o life_n but_o the_o knowledge_n of_o life_n to_o know_v he_o in_o and_o with_o god_n wicked_a nature_n have_v always_o a_o perverse_a end_n propose_v to_o itself_o and_o therefore_o it_o desire_v to_o know_v all_o thing_n not_o for_o god_n but_o they_o be_v so_o swell_v with_o the_o poison_n of_o the_o fruit_n of_o the_o forbid_a tree_n so_o puff_v up_o with_o the_o false_a opinion_n of_o their_o own_o wisdom_n and_o righteousness_n that_o no_o rich_a man_n be_v more_o insolent_a by_o reason_n of_o his_o riches_n than_o these_o perverse_a wise_a man_n be_v by_o reason_n of_o their_o art_n and_o knowledge_n so_o that_o it_o be_v as_o easy_a to_o remove_v cyrus_n out_o of_o his_o kingdom_n as_o one_o of_o these_o wise_a man_n out_o of_o his_o opinion_n and_o tenant_n and_o true_o it_o can_v be_v but_o by_o how_o much_o a_o man_n
