consider_v the_o promise_n and_o â—urses_n annex_v to_o the_o â—aw_v then_o if_o we_o come_v to_o the_o promise_n of_o the_o law_n we_o shall_v see_v how_o many_o good_a thing_n which_o god_n of_o thus_o much_o good_a have_v i_o wilful_o lose_v yet_o if_o we_o further_o consider_v the_o curse_n not_o only_o disperse_v in_o the_o whole_a scripture_n but_o special_o set_v down_o at_o large_a deut._n 28._o for_o sin_n to_o to_o be_v bring_v upon_o we_o in_o soul_n and_o body_n and_o otherwise_o as_o incurable_a sickness_n &_o disease_n terror_n &_o fear_n of_o mind_n scarcity_n and_o famine_n the_o sword_n and_o such_o like_a in_o this_o world_n beside_o eternal_a destruction_n of_o soul_n and_o body_n in_o hell_n fire_n after_o this_o life_n these_o will_v let_v we_o see_v our_o misery_n much_o more_o that_o so_o we_o may_v feel_v &_o acknowledge_v what_o vile_a &_o wretched_a creature_n we_o be_v man_n and_o woman_n that_o have_v just_o bring_v upon_o ourselves_o so_o great_a calamity_n we_o be_v then_o for_o the_o better_a humble_v of_o ourselves_o before_o god_n as_o at_o other_o time_n so_o especial_o in_o the_o day_n of_o fast_v to_o give_v ourselves_o to_o the_o serious_a and_o earnest_a meditation_n of_o these_o thing_n namely_o of_o the_o law_n of_o god_n and_o that_o in_o every_o commandment_n and_o apply_v it_o to_o our_o conscience_n and_o the_o appurtenance_n also_o of_o the_o same_o law_n that_o be_v the_o promise_n make_v to_o the_o obedient_a and_o the_o punishment_n threaten_v to_o the_o disobedient_a and_o pray_v to_o god_n for_o his_o good_a spirit_n that_o it_o may_v work_v upon_o we_o even_o upon_o our_o heart_n that_o by_o this_o mean_v we_o may_v come_v to_o that_o measure_n of_o humility_n that_o be_v meet_v for_o we_o so_o great_a sinner_n to_o come_v unto_o and_o that_o he_o will_v cast_v we_o down_o under_o his_o holy_a hand_n even_o so_o low_a as_o his_o own_o child_n shall_v be_v for_o want_n of_o which_o our_o
