shall_v be_v all_o one_o as_o if_o you_o want_v it_o so_o we_o see_v heb._n 5._o 7._o when_o christ_n 7._o pray_v for_o deliverance_n in_o that_o great_a hour_n of_o trial_n the_o text_n say_v he_o sometime_o servant_n in_o spirit_n serve_v the_o lord_n that_o fire_n be_v not_o keep_v alive_a with_o the_o fuel_n of_o prayer_n and_o when_o they_o decline_v from_o that_o pitch_n from_o that_o degree_n of_o faith_n which_o they_o have_v obtain_v you_o shall_v find_v it_o common_o to_o arise_v from_o remissness_n in_o this_o duty_n therefore_o we_o say_v to_o such_o repent_v and_o amend_v and_o do_v your_o first_o work_n that_o be_v use_v your_o former_a diligence_n renew_v that_o and_o that_o will_v renew_v grace_n and_o strength_n again_o therefore_o take_v up_o heed_n of_o be_v negligent_a and_o remiss_a in_o this_o duty_n we_o have_v great_a cause_n to_o be_v encourage_v to_o it_o for_o there_o be_v not_o a_o faithful_a prayer_n that_o we_o make_v shall_v be_v lose_v but_o they_o come_v up_o into_o remembrance_n and_o therefore_o you_o must_v consider_v with_o yourselves_o not_o only_o what_o you_o do_v for_o the_o present_a but_o what_o stock_n of_o prayer_n you_o have_v lay_v up_o you_o know_v a_o man_n may_v have_v much_o in_o bill_n and_o bond_n as_o well_o as_o in_o present_a money_n so_o there_o be_v a_o certain_a simile_n stock_n of_o prayer_n a_o certain_a treasure_n lay_v up_o that_o shall_v not_o be_v forget_v the_o husbandman_n look_v not_o only_o upon_o the_o grain_n that_o he_o have_v in_o his_o simile_n garner_n but_o he_o look_v upon_o that_o which_o be_v sow_v though_o it_o be_v out_o of_o his_o hand_n yea_o he_o reckon_v that_o the_o better_a of_o the_o two_o so_o those_o prayer_n that_o have_v be_v sow_v it_o may_v be_v many_o year_n ago_o be_v such_o as_o will_v bring_v in_o a_o sure_a increase_n therefore_o let_v we_o be_v exhort_v to_o be_v constant_a in_o this_o duty_n to_o be_v frequent_a therein_o to_o continue_v in_o it_o watch_v thereto_o with_o perseverance_n and_o now_o we_o have_v dispatch_v this_o we_o will_v come_v to_o answer_v some_o case_n of_o conscience_n that_o fall_v out_o in_o the_o performance_n of_o this_o duty_n which_o be_v divers_a first_o this_o be_v one_o what_o shall_v a_o man_n judge_n of_o 1_o his_o prayer_n when_o they_o be_v accompany_v with_o prayer_n wander_a thought_n whether_o those_o prayer_n be_v such_o as_o god_n whole_o refuse_v or_o what_o he_o be_v to_o do_v in_o such_o a_o case_n when_o he_o be_v subject_a to_o wander_a thought_n to_o vanity_n of_o mind_n and_o distemper_n in_o the_o performance_n of_o that_o duty_n to_o this_o i_o answer_v that_o we_o must_v distinguish_v ans._n of_o the_o cause_n whence_o these_o wander_a thought_n a_o rise_n sometimetimes_o they_o arise_v not_o so_o much_o from_o our_o own_o neglect_n as_o from_o weakness_n from_o temptation_n weakness_n and_o in_o such_o a_o case_n god_n lay_v they_o not_o so_o much_o to_o our_o charge_n as_o for_o example_n one_o that_o aim_v at_o a_o mark_n and_o do_v his_o best_a to_o hit_v the_o simile_n mark_n yet_o if_o he_o have_v a_o hand_n or_o a_o arm_n that_o have_v of_o diligence_n but_o either_o it_o be_v his_o weakness_n or_o it_o be_v a_o impediment_n cast_v in_o by_o another_o so_o it_o be_v in_o this_o case_n this_o wander_a of_o mind_n proceed_v from_o a_o natural_a infirmity_n and_o imbecility_n that_o hang_v upon_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n which_o be_v not_o so_o able_a to_o keep_v itself_o close_o to_o such_o a_o spiritual_a business_n and_o thy_o god_n consider_v for_o he_o be_v wise_a and_o kno●…es_n that_o we_o be_v but_o flesh_n when_o a_o weak_a servant_n go_v simile_n about_o a_o business_n though_o he_o do_v it_o not_o so_o well_o as_o
