be_v suppose_v that_o w._n p_n learning_n be_v not_o so_o great_a that_o he_o need_v not_o the_o translation_n as_o well_o as_o other_o man_n it_o be_v well_o know_v that_o the_o translation_n and_o all_o the_o various_a copy_n and_o readins_n make_v not_o the_o least_o alteration_n in_o any_o of_o the_o fundamental_a or_o essential_a doctrine_n of_o christianity_n yea_o scarce_o in_o any_o much_o material_a whatsoever_o arg._n 12._o his_o nine_o argument_n be_v from_o those_o voluminous_a discourse_n of_o case_n of_o conscience_n that_o be_v extant_a among_o we_o for_o say_v he_o have_v the_o scripture_n be_v as_o sufficient_a note_v hear_v his_o fling_n at_o their_o sufficiency_n as_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o rule_n of_o faith_n and_o life_n require_v there_o have_v be_v no_o as_o well_o as_o case_n of_o conscience_n which_o have_v amount_v to_o a_o prodigious_a number_n within_o these_o fifty_o year_n see_v all_o man_n have_v the_o same_o light_n within_o they_o to_o be_v the_o same_o rule_n in_o all_o be_v not_o that_o sufficient_a without_o any_o
the_o government_n of_o our_o life_n in_o all_o estate_n be_v not_o the_o rule_n which_o the_o holy_a spirit_n use_v as_o his_o instrument_n to_o guide_v we_o in_o all_o part_n of_o our_o duty_n but_o he_o may_v have_v tell_v we_o some_o of_o those_o thousand_o case_n in_o which_o the_o scripture_n can_v be_v our_o plain_a and_o distinct_a rule_n whereby_o to_o know_v either_o our_o duty_n to_o perform_v it_o or_o what_o be_v prohibit_v that_o we_o may_v avoid_v it_o though_o we_o have_v the_o inward_a assistance_n of_o god_n spirit_n to_o enlighten_v our_o mind_n and_o set_v before_o they_o on_o all_o necessary_a occasion_n and_o emergency_n such_o scripture_n precept_n and_o prohibition_n as_o suit_n with_o the_o present_a occasion_n but_o if_o the_o case_n be_v of_o thing_n in_o themselves_o simple_o indifferent_a i._n e._n neither_o command_v nor_o forbid_v either_o by_o any_o precept_n of_o god_n or_o just_a precept_n and_o law_n of_o our_o superior_n we_o be_v leave_v to_o our_o choice_n according_a as_o our_o rational_a faculty_n and_o christian_a prudence_n shall_v direct_v we_o a_o due_a regard_n over_o all_o be_v have_v to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o that_o book_n which_o be_v to_o be_v with_o he_o and_o he_o be_v to_o read_v therein_o all_o the_o day_n of_o his_o life_n that_o he_o may_v learn_v to_o fear_v the_o lord_n his_o god_n to_o keep_v all_o
