to_o say_v that_o a_o nice_a point_n in_o divinity_n or_o philosophy_n shall_v be_v clear_o explain_v to_o a_o infant_n they_o be_v indeed_o plain_o reveal_v to_o we_o as_o to_o their_o reality_n and_o existence_n but_o not_o clear_o as_o to_o the_o true_a nature_n of_o the_o thing_n nothing_o in_o the_o world_n be_v more_o evident_a than_o that_o such_o thing_n be_v reveal_v to_o we_o but_o what_o or_o how_o they_o be_v in_o themselves_o be_v impossible_a for_o we_o to_o comprehend_v and_o this_o be_v what_o the_o apostle_n mean_v by_o that_o say_n that_o eye_n have_v not_o see_v nor_o immediate_o conceive_v in_o our_o mind_n the_o same_o stature_n countenance_n lineament_n and_o complexion_n or_o the_o same_o humour_n disposition_n natural_a part_n and_o inclination_n etc._n etc._n so_o that_o we_o very_o well_o apprehend_v wherein_o the_o likeness_n consist_v but_o when_o we_o say_v we_o shall_v rise_v in_o the_o likeness_n of_o christ_n here_o we_o stop_v and_o our_o thought_n can_v reach_v no_o far_o again_o when_o we_o say_v one_o man_n be_v the_o son_n of_o another_o we_o apprehend_v very_o well_o the_o manner_n of_o natural_a procreation_n and_o how_o it_o be_v he_o come_v to_o be_v his_o father_n but_o when_o we_o say_v christ_n be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n by_o a_o eternal_a generation_n we_o know_v nothing_o of_o the_o manner_n of_o one_o spirit_n produce_v another_o nor_o can_v we_o tell_v how_o he_o come_v to_o be_v bear_v of_o a_o virgin_n without_o the_o concurrence_n of_o a_o man._n when_o we_o say_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n have_v a_o real_a influence_n upon_o we_o in_o the_o operation_n of_o grace_n we_o know_v much_o less_o of_o the_o manner_n of_o it_o than_o we_o do_v of_o one_o body_n move_v another_o by_o contact_n and_o we_o know_v the_o food_n we_o eat_v nourish_v we_o by_o undergo_a several_a alteration_n and_o then_o be_v convert_v into_o the_o substance_n of_o our_o body_n but_o we_o can_v know_v thus_o much_o of_o the_o
