the_o apostle_n make_v the_o cross_n of_o christ_n the_o ratification_n of_o the_o covenant_n for_o that_o cut_v of_o all_o sin_n and_o curse_v and_o the_o rigour_n of_o the_o law_n hell_n and_o death_n and_o devil_n and_o damnation_n and_o all_o evil_n that_o can_v befall_v we_o in_o this_o or_o another_o world_n and_o do_v satisfy_v the_o justice_n of_o god_n that_o it_o may_v remove_v all_o these_o and_o bear_v the_o whole_a burden_n of_o the_o desert_n of_o our_o sin_n purchase_v reconciliation_n with_o the_o father_n union_n with_o the_o son_n communion_n with_o the_o holy_a ghost_n but_o what_o be_v all_o this_o to_o i_o will_v the_o soul_n say_v unless_o these_o be_v so_o give_v that_o faith_n be_v wrought_v in_o my_o heart_n to_o discern_v all_o these_o and_o find_v they_o the_o lord_n do_v indeed_o all_o these_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n come_v and_o so_o preach_v the_o gospel_n and_o so_o apply_v the_o gospel_n as_o that_o in_o preach_v these_o thing_n he_o the_o benefit_n of_o the_o cross_n of_o christ_n and_o to_o fellowship_n therein_o and_o now_o indeed_o be_v the_o whole_a covenant_n of_o grace_n confirm_v when_o by_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n the_o virtue_n of_o it_o be_v apply_v by_o the_o spirit_n to_o the_o soul_n not_o that_o there_o be_v a_o reconcilement_n to_o god_n before_o faith_n and_o union_n with_o the_o son_n and_o communion_n with_o the_o holy_a ghost_n before_o faith_n it_o be_v before_o in_o god_n purpose_n and_o christ_n purchase_n but_o when_o the_o spirit_n come_v to_o apply_v this_o who_o work_n it_o be_v to_o give_v accomplishment_n to_o the_o work_n of_o the_o other_o person_n he_o apply_v this_o work_n say_v and_o ratify_v the_o covenant_n and_o thereupon_o the_o heart_n be_v satisfy_v and_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n satisfy_v and_o the_o spirit_n at_o rest_n from_o unsupportable_a anguish_n which_o do_v before_o plough_v up_o the_o tender_a heart_n of_o a_o christian_n that_o he_o lie_v sprawl_v as_o it_o be_v in_o his_o blood_n 3._o a_o three_o benefit_n that_o flow_v from_o the_o former_a in_o respect_n of_o the_o price_n pay_v and_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o virtue_n and_o efficacy_n of_o the_o price_n when_o it_o come_v to_o be_v apply_v you_o have_v not_o only_o lawful_a right_n unto_o the_o creature_n to_o eat_v and_o drink_v etc._n etc._n but_o some_o right_a and_o title_n to_o they_o ourselves_o and_o the_o creature_n shall_v be_v redeem_v to_o the_o glorious_a liberty_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n then_o shall_v we_o receive_v the_o full_a benefit_n of_o the_o price_n which_o he_o have_v pay_v while_o he_o suffer_v upon_o the_o cross_n therefore_o wonder_v not_o that_o though_o christ_n be_v a_o lamb_n yet_o he_o be_v slay_v that_o he_o be_v slay_v we_o may_v be_v redeem_v be_v a_o price_n for_o a_o purchase_a possession_n of_o reconciliation_n with_o the_o father_n of_o union_n with_o the_o son_n of_o communion_n with_o the_o holy_a ghost_n dominion_n over_o all_o sin_n ratification_n of_o the_o covenant_n to_o our_o soul_n and_o at_o length_n the_o possession_n of_o everlasting_a glory_n this_o be_v the_o reason_n why_o the_o lamb_n be_v slay_v and_o have_v it_o not_o be_v for_o these_o divine_a and_o supernatural_a and_o bless_a end_n he_o will_v not_o have_v prostitute_v his_o life_n to_o such_o a_o bitter_a and_o shameful_a death_n as_o the_o death_n of_o the_o cross_n be_v it_o be_v not_o meet_v the_o only_o beget_v son_n of_o god_n shall_v come_v down_o into_o the_o world_n to_o lead_v a_o miserable_a life_n and_o to_o die_v a_o accurse_a we_o who_o sin_n be_v so_o out_o of_o measure_n sinful_a as_o that_o there_o be_v no_o ransom_n to_o be_v give_v for_o they_o but_o such_o a_o invaluable_a price_n as_o the_o blood_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n all_o the_o gold_n of_o ophir_n all_o that_o the_o world_n can_v give_v what_o be_v it_o to_o this_o invaluable_a blood_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n yet_o this_o be_v our_o case_n and_o estate_n that_o if_o we_o have_v have_v many_o world_n for_o our_o inheritance_n and_o give_v they_o all_o for_o the_o redemption_n of_o one_o soul_n it_o have_v not_o be_v sufficient_a this_o be_v our_o estate_n and_o this_o be_v the_o estate_n of_o all_o such_o as_o yet_o live_v in_o sin_n to_o this_o day_n it_o be_v a_o desperate_a estate_n that_o can_v be_v repair_v nor_o themselves_o rescue_v from_o by_o ransom_n but_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n if_o our_o sin_n have_v be_v of_o a_o less_o nature_n a_o less_o price_n may_v have_v make_v satisfaction_n and_o yet_o such_o be_v the_o pride_n of_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o son_n of_o man_n that_o because_o we_o live_v civil_a life_n though_o yet_o natural_a we_o have_v good_a nature_n be_v so_o well_o breed_v do_v so_o many_o good_a office_n that_o we_o think_v it_o be_v not_o so_o dreadful_a a_o matter_n nor_o that_o we_o be_v so_o dangerous_a for_o our_o estate_n as_o other_o if_o it_o go_v ill_a with_o we_o what_o worldliness_n and_o untemperance_n in_o we_o and_o such_o power_n of_o passion_n and_o lust_n that_o no_o mean_n will_v rescue_v we_o therefrom_o
