find_v so_o heavenly_a a_o appropriation_n of_o christ_n to_o our_o soul_n as_o that_o every_o believer_n may_v true_o say_v i_o be_o one_o with_o christ_n christ_n be_v one_o with_o i_o have_v we_o not_o good_a warrant_n for_o so_o high_a a_o challenge_n it_o can_v be_v no_o less_o than_o a_o blasphemous_a arrogance_n to_o lay_v claim_n to_o the_o royal_a blood_n of_o heaven_n but_o since_o it_o have_v please_v the_o god_n of_o heaven_n so_o far_o to_o dignify_v our_o unworthiness_n as_o in_o the_o multitude_n of_o his_o mercy_n to_o admit_v and_o allow_v we_o to_o be_v partaker_n of_o the_o divine_a nature_n 4._o it_o be_v no_o other_o than_o a_o unthankful_a stupidity_n not_o to_o lay_v hold_n on_o so_o glorious_a a_o privilege_n and_o to_o go_v for_o less_o than_o god_n have_v make_v we_o know_v now_o christ._n my_o son_n that_o thou_o be_v upon_o the_o ground_n of_o all_o consolation_n to_o thy_o soul_n which_o consist_v in_o this_o beatifical_a union_n with_o thy_o god_n and_o saviour_n think_v not_o therefore_o to_o pass_v over_o this_o important_a mystery_n with_o some_o transient_a and_o perfunctory_a glance_n but_o let_v thy_o heart_n dwell_v upon_o it_o as_o that_o which_o must_v stick_v by_o thou_o in_o all_o extremity_n and_o cheer_v thou_o up_o when_o thou_o be_v forsake_v of_o all_o worldly_a comfort_n do_v not_o then_o conceive_v of_o this_o union_n as_o some_o imaginary_a thing_n that_o have_v no_o other_o be_v but_o in_o the_o brain_n who_o faculty_n have_v power_n to_o apprehend_v and_o bring_v home_o to_o itself_o far_o remote_a substance_n possess_v itself_o in_o a_o sort_n of_o whatsoever_o it_o conceive_v do_v not_o think_v it_o a_o union_n mere_o virtual_a by_o the_o participation_n of_o those_o spiritual_a gift_n and_o grace_n which_o god_n work_v in_o the_o soul_n as_o the_o comfortable_a effect_n of_o our_o happy_a conjunction_n with_o christ_n do_v not_o think_v it_o a_o accidental_a union_n in_o respect_n of_o some_o circumstance_n and_o quality_n wherein_o we_o communicate_v with_o he_o who_o be_v god_n and_o man_n nor_o yet_o a_o metaphorical_a union_n by_o way_n of_o figurative_a resemblance_n but_o know_v that_o this_o be_v a_o true_a real_a essential_a substantial_a union_n whereby_o the_o person_n of_o the_o believer_n be_v indissoluble_o unite_v to_o the_o glorious_a person_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n know_v that_o this_o union_n be_v not_o more_o mystical_a than_o certain_a that_o in_o natural_a union_n there_o may_v be_v more_o evidence_n there_o can_v be_v more_o truth_n neither_o be_v there_o so_o firm_a and_o close_o a_o union_n betwixt_o the_o soul_n &_o body_n as_o there_o be_v betwixt_o christ_n and_o the_o believe_a soul_n for_o as_o much_o as_o that_o may_v be_v sever_v by_o death_n but_o this_o never_o away_o yet_o with_o all_o gross_a carnality_n of_o conceit_n this_o union_n be_v true_a and_o real_o existent_a but_o yet_o spiritual_a and_o if_o some_o of_o the_o ancient_n have_v term_v it_o natural_a and_o bodily_a it_o have_v be_v in_o respect_n of_o the_o subject_a unite_a our_o humanity_n to_o the_o two_o bless_a nature_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n meet_v in_o one_o most_o glorious_a person_n not_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o manner_n of_o the_o unite_n neither_o be_v it_o the_o less_o real_a because_o spiritual_a spiritual_a agent_n neither_o have_v nor_o put_v forth_o any_o whit_n less_o virtue_n because_o sense_n can_v discern_v their_o manner_n of_o work_v even_o the_o loadstone_n though_o a_o earthen_a substance_n yet_o when_o it_o be_v out_o of_o sight_n whether_o under_o the_o table_n or_o behind_o a_o solid_a partition_n stir_v the_o needle_n as_o effectual_o as_o if_o it_o be_v within_o view_n shall_v not_o he_o contradict_v his_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n more_o delight_n to_o set_v forth_o the_o heavenly_a union_n betwixt_o christ_n and_o the_o believer_n then_o that_o of_o the_o head_n and_o the_o body_n the_o head_n give_v can_v suppose_v such_o a_o body_n as_o high_a as_o heaven_n itself_o that_o one_o soul_n which_o dwell_v in_o it_o and_o be_v diffuse_v through_o all_o the_o part_n of_o it_o will_v make_v it_o but_o one_o entire_a body_n right_o so_o it_o be_v with_o christ_n and_o his_o church_n that_o one_o spirit_n of_o he_o which_o dwell_v in_o and_o enlive_v every_o believer_n unite_v all_o those_o
